About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. I am also an avid organic gardener and I love to grow my own food. I own a quaint cottage home with a fully fenced yard. All animals are allowed on the furniture so that they can indulge in the comfort they deserve. I love taking quirky puppy pics in beautiful places while on hikes and adventures. Playing is a great way to establish trust and blow off steam, and I try to capture that on camera as much as possible. I am an outdoor enthusiasts, and when I lived out West I regularly offered "adventure" packages for dogs who benefitted from extended hikes. My own dog Velma is famous on the lake for being my paddleboard companion! I would love the opportunity to work with elderly or disabled animals, and am competent administering medications. About: Erica and I have always loved & had dogs in our homes ever since we were kids. They were family, & we look forward to treating yours like family too. We have a very flexible with my schedule. We enjoy playing nerf dog, frisbie and fetch with the dogs during the day, and spending restful quiet time with them during the evenings. We have a nice sized fenced in backyard for them to play in, as well as a nice indoor sunroom that I have turned into a doggy indoor play area.

“I think Shivambika did a very good job with my 7 lb. Yorkshire Terrier. She learned about and respected some of his breed’s idiosyncrasies. She took him into her yard, on a leash, & to a nearby trail. No doubt he loved that. It was my fault that he had to be exposed to another dog for his last 3 days, as I initially got my return date wrong . But he dealt with that pretty well, it seems.”

About: I have over 30 years of combined experience caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve lovingly owned three toy poodles, two cats, and a doxie Terrier mix. My little one also enjoys spending time with furry friends and learning how to be gentle and caring with animals. She sent me photos and a couple videos to share Niko's play times and ready times with the other dogs in the house. I would recommend Amanda and would book with her again.
We would definitely recommend! I really appreciated the communication we received during booking and later the communication + photos we received during Charlie’s overnight stay. It helped us feel reassured he was in good hands. In all the pics he seemed like he was having a great time. Drop off and pick up was also very smooth. I’ll definitely book again in the future when we need help with dog sitting.
