“Megan will give your beloved pets the absolute best care. I was panicking when BOTH my long time pet sitters were unavailable, and I had to trust someone I didn't know at the last minute (to attend a funeral). Megan gave me the assurance I needed that she would be with us every step of the way, and she certainly came through! I would not hesitate for a moment to hire Megan again. What would Rover be without great people like Megan?”

“Mackenzie went above and beyond what was expected of her. She also did a great job administering one of our cats medication, which came up last minute. We greatly appreciate everything she did for our cats while we were away and we would definitely recommend her, as well as hire her again. Thanks so much Mackenzie!”

“Stevie did an amazing job caring for our 3 kitties! We are so pleased with her service as a sitter. She is very caring and attentive. Stevie went above and beyond when we had an issue with one of our kitties vomiting on the carpet while we were away. This is our second time using her as a sitter and we will definitely continue using her in the future!”

“Alicia was extremely helpful and my cat - who can be a bit distant at times - warmed up to them very quickly. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: I have experience with dogs of various breeds and ages ranging, who are most often from shelters or rescues. While I have 2 dogs of my own (shelter & foster), I have 5 years of experience fostering dogs who come directly from their rescue location who often need adjustment/bonding time, medical care & basic training (potty, crate, walking, etc.). The fosters I have cared for range from ages 3mo-8 years, and I am comfortable with senior care and rd ministering medication. I have experience with dogs who are more reactive. My work schedule allows me to be available during the week in the early morning or evening. During the weekends I am able to fill in afternoon slots for walks or a home visit! I walk my dogs on a leash and crate them when I leave the house.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Sylvan Lake
This was my first time using Rover and she was the sitter to start. She checked in with mochi, even gave her some playtime, made sure that she was fed. Mochi is very important to me and we had just gotten her so finding someone that would take good care of her would stress me out until I met Felicia from the first day her Energy was very genuine and mochi loved her right off the bat. Her communication was amazing as well. She even gave a few good recommendations for me as a new kitten owner five stars ⭐️. Will definitely be rebooking for all of my vacations and trips. It’s nice to have someone trustworthy.

Mackenzie went above and beyond what was expected of her. She also did a great job administering one of our cats medication, which came up last minute. We greatly appreciate everything she did for our cats while we were away and we would definitely recommend her, as well as hire her again. Thanks so much Mackenzie!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
