About: My family and I raised a pug named Poppy for 13 years and later another named Daisy. Poppy passed away last year after living a full and loving life under our care. I still miss her every day! Dogs seem to be drawn to me everywhere I go. And I’m always happy to play with them any opportunity I get! Don’t be surprised if you fur baby begs you to come back after our time together. Background in semi professional baseball and financial wealth management I work typically 9-6 on weekdays with some flexibility. Occasionally later depending on client meetings. Weekends I’m normally free, especially during the winter. I do play in multiple sports leagues, but those are usually on weeknights. I have a fenced in yard with a dog lead and is located within a subdivision away from a busy street. I also have a big open basement with padded floors for your pet to run around and play in. My house is very clean and even has brand new carpets. I allow pets on furniture, I just typically wipe off their paws after we return from walks or playing in the yard. My cat is friendly, but I also have a guest room upstairs she can stay in when company is over. No small objects or choking hazards around and very few breakable items for them to worry about running into.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and lived with many. I don’t currently have my own as he passed two years ago, but I live with other dogs and care for my family’s pets as well. I am used to animals of all breeds and sizes, and love being around them. I work from home and enjoy having a break from sitting at the desk. Working from home also can make house-sitting easier as I can be more flexible to suit your pet’s needs! As mentioned above, I have a relatively flexible schedule since I work from home. So I’m happy to discuss a schedule that works for you! All animals are different and I take my queues from them as to how comfortable they are being approached. Lizzi was awesome. This was our first time leaving our super social under 1 year old kitten and I was really nervous. It was so great seeing updates of Zuzu happily playing, sleeping, eating and drinking.. being her happy self while we were away. Lizzi’s communication and kindness made this all a really easy experience for each of us when usually leaving a pet for the first time is very anxiety inducing. Lizzi is exactly the person I was looking for to take perfect care of Zuzu while we were away. That lextra level of attention and care that goes beyond being in a safe place and being fed, but truly knowing that someone with experience and compassion has their best interest at heart.
First off Heather and Robert are so kind. We instantly knew they were a blessing. All four of our pets instantly warmed up to them. Even our more antisocial cat! They both are very knowledgeable about dogs and helped us find good toys/ treats for both our heavy chewers. Secondly, while we were gone they sent a lot of updates and pictures! We appreciated it a lot since we missed our furbabies. We would highly recommend them for anyone who is in need of pet care.
