About: I recently lost my puppy after 7 years, and I had experience watching and dog sitting in my neighborhood, taking my dog and other dogs on walks all the time, watching my friends and families dogs, and I want to have more time around dogs again with my dog khaleesi now being gone. I am not a dog trainer, but I’ve been around dogs my entire life. They have always been a key part in my life and I want to be able to continue making positive memories with all sorts of dogs for the rest of my life! I am currently a student at Oakland University for exercise science and pre Physical Therapy. I am also working part time for a sales company called cutco, but I have control of my schedule and can work virtual or in person. I have experience with a electric fence, and if not fenced walking with a leash is no problem for me, I’m very good with crating dogs if needed, but I will not crate them unless it is crate worthy, like if they got slight aggressive, but I do not like to crate if it’s not needed. I will take on walks at minimum once a day and will walk however long the dog seems to need to be walked to get out there zoomies energy. I can feed whenever they usually eat, and always have fresh water for them. I can bathe them as well, but I’m not a pro at it by any means. I also allow pets on couches or beds of any sort, but if they aren’t allowed to be then I can follow that rule with no problem.

I value being responsible and reliable for you and your pet’s needs. I would love to establish our home as a safe boarding environment for your bestie. We have just under two acres- not fenced- of beautiful land for your best friend to run and play! Lots of space inside, with option of storing a crate, if needed. Our children will not be part of the boarding experience as they are not home on weekends. Our dog passed unexpectedly this year of cancer and it wrecked us. Although we cannot replace her, we would love to provide a happy place for your beloved pet to stay and be loved while you are away or need a break. 🩷

My furbaby, Lilly, loves Amber. If she is available. She is always our number 1 choice. She sends photos or videos daily and is easy to get a hold of if needed. Lilly also gets super excited when we get to Amber’s house which is a huge win in our book! Lilly often has anxiety so this is a huge peace of mind for us. I highly recommend Amber to anyone who has a furbaby they want to have a good time while they are gone.
Yvonne and Bert were great with our 13 year old dog. They made sure she got her meds daily. They stayed in contact with us with pictures and text messages. They have a doggy door that I really didn’t have high hopes for our dog to use, but she did with some coaxing. I would highly recommend Yvonne and Bert. They are definitely dog people and pretty laid back.
