Lia, Jonathan and their entire family are amazing! This was the first time I have used Rover, so I was very nervous. Jonathan and Lia sent updates, photos and videos throughout the day. They put my mind at ease and I was able to have a wonderful vacation. I think my sweet girl misses them, but we already booked her next two stays with them!

Mayrannie took care of my 9 month old pup for 3 weeks, while I had to travel. She was wonderful in doing multiple meet-and-greets to slowly introduce him to her environment. She took great care of my pup, sending me pictures almost every day. I highly recommend Mayrannie.

Shivambika took care of my dog like her own. She sent me timely updates and kept me informed about my dog’s wellbeing. My dog was a little sad and wasn’t eating very well but Shivambika tried different things to make sure she eats well and she succeeded too. Her house is very clean and beautiful. I would definitely leave my dog there again.

Winston came home a happy dog! He was well cared for. They loved all of his quirky habits. Having him stay at a place where he was comfortable allowed us to have more fun on our vacation.

Our two dogs were well cared for & loved while staying with Erin. She is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to handle our young dog who can be nervous in new situations. Not having to worry while on vacation because we knew our pets were in great hands was so nice!

Eunju was very caring for my senior dog Lemon and gave her TLC. She provided photos and updates and was understanding and accommodating. Lemon was in good spirits and very relaxed when we picked her up. I hope that Eunju will be available in the future to care for Lemon. Thank you, Eunju.

Miranda and Erica provided a truly loving home for Honey. Always a good sign when your dog wants to stay and not get into the car. Having a fenced back yard was a real treat for Honey. But all the cuddles she got was the highlight. We will definitely book again.

Marissa did an awesome job taking care of my dog for 10 days. This was the first time we left him for a long period of time and he did great. He got a lot of attention and love, and he hesitated coming back home since he had so much fun! She also took care of him for a few weeks in the past for daily day care, and he had a blast! He used to get so excited going into the car every day to go to her house.

Cynthia was a true gem and lifesaver when she helped us out when we were really in a pinch. House painter chaos, odors and noises became just too much for the two dogs and we humans even ended up at hotel (but no dogs allowed). Cynthia was able to really step in and provide wonderful care with lots of love for Buster and Bette. Trusting, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, excellent communicator, dog lover extraordinaire… that’s Cynthia.

About: Hi! I’m 30 years old and I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up in a house full of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—my mom always had rescues and mixed breeds, so I’m very comfortable with different temperaments and energy levels. Today, I have my own adopted 16 lb mixed-breed dog, and caring for him has only deepened my love and experience with dogs. I’m confident handling puppies and energetic dogs, and I truly enjoy walks, playtime, and giving them attention and care. For safety reasons, I prefer not to work with dogs that are overly aggressive or difficult to manage. My experience is focused entirely on dogs, so I’m not the best fit for cats or other types of pets. I’m available to foster small dogs in my apartment. I work from home and I’m able to walk him/her 3/4 times a day. I’m also available for drop-in visits between 6 AM–8 AM and anytime after 5 PM. I live in an apartment with a fenced area, which is great for safe outdoor time. I’m also happy to take your dog on walks outside around the neighborhood. I can feed, play with, and walk your dog, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away.

Communication was great! Ash looked happy in all pictures and it was clear he was well taken care of. He also ate all of the food I sent with him which has never happened which tells me he was a lot less anxious. Thanks so much for taking such good care of our furry friend!

About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. I am also an avid organic gardener and I love to grow my own food. I own a quaint cottage home with a fully fenced yard. All animals are allowed on the furniture so that they can indulge in the comfort they deserve. I love taking quirky puppy pics in beautiful places while on hikes and adventures. Playing is a great way to establish trust and blow off steam, and I try to capture that on camera as much as possible. I am an outdoor enthusiasts, and when I lived out West I regularly offered "adventure" packages for dogs who benefitted from extended hikes. My own dog Velma is famous on the lake for being my paddleboard companion! I would love the opportunity to work with elderly or disabled animals, and am competent administering medications. It would be my pleasure to get to know your dog, cat, chicken, shrimp, goat, bird, hamster, and any other critters in your family! Feel free to contact me for references and resume. Animal - and seasonally, garden - services are my fulltime occupation, so the care of your furry family member is my top priority. Because I work for myself, I am able to adjust my schedule as needed to accommodate my clients' needs. When staying at a client's home, my practice is to leave it cleaner than when I arrived. I value my clients' trust as one of my greatest assets, and can ensure that your home and property will be respected at all times.

I couldn’t be happier with Cynthia and the care she took watching my Shih Tzu Bodie. He is very attached to me and Cynthia took the time and patience to make him comfortable. It did not take him long to warm up and trust her. He loved her beautiful backyard and pictures she sent made me smile seeing him so happy. Will be using her again and again!

I think Shivambika did a very good job with my 7 lb. Yorkshire Terrier. She learned about and respected some of his breed’s idiosyncrasies. She took him into her yard, on a leash, & to a nearby trail. No doubt he loved that. It was my fault that he had to be exposed to another dog for his last 3 days, as I initially got my return date wrong . But he dealt with that pretty well, it seems.

She stayed in home for almost a week and took great care of my two dogs. They were well cared for and one (a recent rescue) uses the pee pads, so there's a bit of cleaning involved - the place was SPOTLESS! Great job, definitely recommend.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
