About: I aim to ensure that every dog in my care is taken care of to the fullest extent. Keeping your precious pet safe and loved is my duty. I know just how important dogs are in our lives, so ensuring they get the kind of treatment they get at home is essential. Loving dogs is something that comes second nature to me. Throughout my life, these pets have played a significant role. In my experience, I have watched/raised leader dogs for the blind, my dog, friends/family pets, and my girlfriend's dog often. I have 10+ years of experience working with this beautiful animal, both big and small. When taking on a new client, I'd like to schedule a meet and greet, whether online or in person; that way, we can ensure we're a good fit. That's very important to me, and also, getting able to talk will allow me to learn more about your pet and your care expectations; after all, who knows your pet more than the owner? Lastly, I love meeting new dogs, and they generally like to meet me, so I'd argue your pet, and I will get along incredibly. Being away from your best friend can be really difficult so I make it my goal to communicate as often as possible. I will make sure to give plenty of updates and pictures of all the fun your pup is having.
About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was in high school and I am currently 29. I have had a few regular clients over the past ten years and am looking to get on Rover since several of my regular clients have sadly passed on. I have experience with older dogs and administering medication. I have 10+ years of experience with taking care of dogs. I have a hybrid job that allows me to work from home about 70% of the time. My weekends and evenings are also free. I would love to take care of your fur babies! Nothing sounds better to me than getting paid to take care of and love your dogs! I have an attention to detail that allows me to take care of your pets with the love and attention you would! I am able to stick to a schedule and accommodate any activities or needs that your dog has.
“Ashley did a fantastic job of stopping in to take care of my kittens while I was out of town. They really enjoyed her company and I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future.”

About: I've care for my childhood dog since he was a puppy and all the way till his passing of old age. I have two sister's who all have doggies and they rely on me to care for them when needed. I know the importance of maintaining routine, identifying any triggers they might have, and being alert for any situation. I have a dog of my own, and through training him. i have learned a lot more then i knew before. But of course , you never truly stop learning. I'm excited to get to know each and every pet that i get the chance to meet. I work part time. I'm available 6 am to 10:30 am all days. Weekdays it varies. Some days I'm free until 4 pm. Other days I'm free 5pm till 10 pm. That is why i need a day in advance to know. I live alone with my dog, Zeus. he is super friendly with all dogs but i also have an extra bed room that is not used. whatever it is that you need me to do, i will do it.
“Katie did a fantastic job! She is highly dependable, kind, caring and trustworthy. She takes excellent notes and is able to problem solve. I highly recommend her! Thank you Katie!!”

“An excellent experience from start to finish. She was incredibly reliable, communicative, and very responsible with feeding and playtime. We received regular updates - photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We felt completely confident that our cat was in good hands. Would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!”

“This is our second time with Libby and continue to be extremely satisfied with her care for our cat. We were out of country for 2+ weeks and each morning I would wake up to a visit status along with pictures. She also supported with mail & bird feeding which was much appreciated. Basically I could enjoy my vacation and know all was okay at home and if any issues- I would be contacted immediately.”

“Sarah is new to our dog, Bailey, today. Having only first met Sarah, we are impressed. She asked questions demonstrating experience with caring for animals and particularly job. We are comfortable after meeting with a Drop-In visit, that we can rely on Sarah for her soon visit for the next appointment.”

About: I have taken care of my neighbors’ animals since I was nine years old. I often take care of their dogs for several days at a time while they’re away. I love taking care of animals and making them feel safe and cared for, despite their parents not being home. I have work 8-5 every weekday, but I can pet-sit afterwards and stop by during my lunch break! My weekends are completely free, so I can spend the whole day with your pet if they have more frequent needs. I have had experience from young puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats. I understand that every animal has differing needs, so I will do my best to accommodate to everything that will make your pet feel safe.

I also have experience caring for senior cats and dogs and understand the extra patience, attention, and gentle care they may need. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship and comfort, I treat every pet with kindness and care as if they were my own. About: I’ve taken care of dogs both large and small for 10 years for friends and family, both in their home and my own. Willing to walk, play, feed, water, administer basic medications or just provide companionship. Trustworthy, compassionate and reliable. I currently work Monday to Friday but have open availability all day on weekends as well as weekdays after 6pm. I have my own dog and cat as well. I do live in an apartment so would be limited to one dog in my home. I have a 24 pound Cavachon who is friendly with all dogs. I walk my dog multiple times a day and would give yours the same care. I also have a medium kennel if your dog requires that for short absences if that is an option. At a clients home I can play with the pet in a fenced yard or offer 30-60 minute walks multiple times a day. Will feed, play, clean up after pottying, and will give your pet plenty of love and pets!!
“Megan is an excellent communicator and is always on time. I can tell my dogs are getting her undivided attention when she is here with them. She always sends photos of each visit which puts my dog mom heart at ease. So happy to have her as our weekly dog sitter.”

About: I grew up with dogs, and owned one for many years. I love their company and their attachment. I am caring and passionate and pay attention that the dog stays healthy meaning good and healthy diet, exercise, play and maintaining a good hygiene. I am newly retired and have plenty of available time. And I can accommodate my schedule to satisfy any required routine, I am flexible too. With my experience I know how to take care of dogs. Safety is one of the key factors for taking care of dogs, walking outside for a dog is important for its health, but we need to make sure it is safe, keeping the dog in leash, watching what it does eat bad things on the way.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for 9+ years. I currently have 4 dogs in my home and 2 cats. I take them on walks, give them baths and feed them! I also do clinical rotations at henry ford so I can definitely work around any schedule that would work for us both! I have a huge yard for your furry friends to play in and I have furry friends also that they can play with if you are comfortable. If not I totally understand and can keep them separated! I can also keep them in the crate if that is what you feel comfortable with also! Anything to keep you and your furry friend happy!!
About: Hi! I’m Kel, and I’m an experienced, dependable pet sitter who genuinely loves getting to know every animal’s unique personality. I’ve been caring for pets for family, friends, and clients since I was a teenager, and pet sitting has always been something I’ve found incredibly rewarding. I know that leaving your pets in someone else’s care can be stressful, so my goal is to make the experience as comfortable and worry free as possible—for both you and your pets. I’m attentive to routines, personalities, and individual needs, whether that means an energetic dog who needs plenty of playtime, a senior pet who prefers a slower pace, or a shy cat who needs a little extra patience to feel comfortable. I currently share my home with my cats, Rosemary, Cheezel, Wasabi, and my Great Pyrenees, Marsha.. They’ve taught me plenty about the joys, quirks, and occasional chaos that come with having pets! I’m responsible, patient, communicative, and attentive to detail. I’ll treat your pets, your home, and your instructions with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family members are safe, happy, and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! 🐾 I have a flexible schedule that allows me to build pet care into my daily routine and give each visit the time and attention it deserves. I’m able to plan my day around scheduled drop-ins, walks, and house visits rather than rushing from one appointment to the next. I’m comfortable working with different routines and can follow your pet’s normal feeding, medication, play, and bathroom schedules as closely as possible. I understand that consistency is especially important , so I make an effort to keep their routine familiar while you’re away. I also make communication a priority and will keep you updated with messages and photos throughout my visits. My goal is to make caring for your pets a reliable part of my routine while giving you peace of mind that they’re getting the attention and care they need. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where I can keep pets in the environment they know and feel comfortable in. I believe staying in their own space helps reduce stress, especially for cats who can be sensitive to changes in their surroundings. During each visit, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and care instructions as closely as possible. This can include feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, enrichment, walks, and medication or other special needs as discussed. I’ll take the time to interact with your pet based on their personality—whether they want lots of attention and playtime or prefer a quieter visit with some gentle companionship. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual. If I notice something concerning, I’ll contact you promptly rather than assuming it’s normal. I’ll treat your home with care and respect, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Cerra did an amazing job! She was very accommodating last minute and was willing to come meet Abby before so she could see her beforehand. Abby is very cautious of people she doesn’t know but warms up fast and Cerra did a great job interacting with her. I would recommend her to others and book again if ever needed :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
