“We were just gone a few days, and Callahan did a great job, and sent lots of pictures. Jean Luc got plenty of brushing, and Jaeger sat on her lap! (He's usually nervous around strangers.) I would definitely hire her again.”

“This was our first time using the Rover service and we cannot say enough about Angela and her care for our dog, Luna. I wish there were more stars to give!!! Angela is a burst of energy, friendly and engaging. Angela consistently, daily, provided a summary of Luna's care, including pictures. Additionally, she was always responsive to any text communications from us. Thank you very much Angela we really appreciate you!!!!!!!”

“Another wonderful dog sit with Cynthia. She took care of our Bella for two nights in her home. Our dog is so well cared for. We receive regular updates with pictures and texts telling us all about their adventures. This week we booked Cynthia again for a dog walk. She is always on time and takes great care of Bella. I know our dog absolutely loves her. Cynthia is outstanding and clearly loves her job. It’s very comforting to know our dog is safe and happy whenever in her care. We are very grateful we met her.”

“Samantha met us and our pets ahead of time for a meet and greet, was punctual and followed all directions, and sent a picture with a quick update at the end of her visit. Thanks for making it possible to get away for a stress-free evening!”
“Ashley is incredibly professional and communicative. We were very grateful for her service and felt like our pets were in good hands. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Mackenzie did a great job caring for our cat while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and followed our guidance resulting in good interactions and a positive experience. Our cat seemed to enjoy her visit based on the pictures of her playing and sitting together.”

“Scott goes the extra mile to make sure our skittish cat is well taken care of. She is afraid of everyone - but she has warmed up to Scott. I highly recommend Scott - he’s an excellent pet sitter!”

“Kristina took care of my two kitties, she did a great job, very attentive to details and wrote a detailed report of the cats. She went above and beyond and even cleaned the water fountain. She took pictures of the cats and they were happy! I recommend Kristina if you’re looking for a great cat sitter!”

About: Since I was a young child, my family has had all sorts of pets ranging from birds to rabbits to dogs, all of whom I took care of and loved dearly. Since I was a teenager to present day, I've taken care of dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and plants belonging to friends and family while they're away - sometimes just for the day and sometimes for extended periods of time. Responsibilities ranged from providing food and water, taking dogs out for walks, cleaning litterboxes, playing with pets, just being present with them and more. I have special experience with senior dogs as my own dog lived to be 15 with extensive health issues towards his later years that I managed successfully. I also have special recent experience with young kittens - I’ve adopted 3 kittens from the shelter and have raised and trained them since they were about 3-4 months old. I love animals with my whole heart and would love to pet-sit for you. With me, your beloved pets will be safe, loved, and very much cared for. Use promo code NASYAT42396 for $20 off your first booking with Rover! I've recently graduated and I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. We can schedule a time for me to drop in at any time during the day, multiple times a day if desired. I’m also available if you need someone to stay with your loved ones at your home to watch over and take good care of them. I take the responsibility of pet-sitting very seriously, making it my highest priority to ensure your beloved pets receive the best care and attention they deserve. I offer in-home pet care services, where I prioritize the well-being of your furry companions and ensure the utmost respect for your home, privacy, and personal belongings. Regrettably, my apartment's policies prevent me from boarding pets; however, I can provide multiple daily check-ins or even offer overnight stays at your residence for your peace of mind.
About: I have been caring for household pets since I was a kid. I would watch pets for family and neighbors while they were out of town. Or just stopping by during the day to walk the dog and make sure they are fed and happy. Currently I volunteer at the Michigan Humane Society as a member of the behavior modification group. I have 2 dogs of my own (Ferda and Cruz) they are both large dogs 105 and 65 lbs, so I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperament's. I am also fully able to safely walk multiple dogs at once and make sure they stay under control. I have earned a Canine Specialist certificate through SCI as well as a certificate in animal first aid and CPR through ProPetHero. Along with having fun with your dog I can also bathe and brush your dog if needed, whether your dog is muddy and stinky or just needs a basic shed brushing I can provide a calm relaxing experience for your dog. I still currently am working part time cooking in order to cover my bills, but my goal is to be able to leave that industry and work full time in pet care and training. I am available Wednesday- Friday anytime in the morning until 2 pm and at any time on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Soon there will be more times available. I have a fully fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs who love to play fetch and tug. They also value their rest time. I am able to crate your dog if needed and also have a separate room that is set aside for a cat living area full of toys and climbable cat trees and wall mazes, or for a dog training room as needed.
Rochester dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tyler was great! He was very friendly, easy to work with, and did great with my pets. He was flexible when I scheduled a meet and greet before the visit, and my pets immediately liked him, which says a lot, in my opinion! We would definitely recommend him as a sitter for anyone in the area!

Stephanie did a great job watching our GSP. Pictures were sent every day and it was clear to see he was getting attention and great play time. There was no issues with the holiday making the trip away more relaxed. She was flexible and communicated well as she did what was needed with her schedule keeping our pups needs in mind. Would recommend her and will be rebooking for our next trip.
