“Cheri and her family were warm and welcoming of Vinnie! She gave plenty of pupdates during the stay. He was well taken care of with treats and toys and had a great time! I felt at ease while he was away knowing he was getting the best!”

Fence wall is completely surrounded at her home and it's spacious so any energetic dog can be best fit. Mayrannie's dog Kiara is also very nice. We will ask her help again.”

“My experience was awesome. This was my first time using Rover and Sogol v made this the best experience ever. She was friendly, showed my pup and myself love. I felt so comfortable because she went above and beyond with her selfless personality. She sent pictures and communicated with me daily. I would recommend her to anyone looking to use this service. About: I have a very friendly family and we have always had at least one dog in the household and kept them entertained and fed great I have a lot of spare time, I have a lot of experience with dogs with being around a lot of them and owning one personally myself Always have an eye on them. Remain attentive, and responsible during all dog-watching hours.Treat all dogs with kindness and respect. Follow any special instructions provided by the owner.
“This was our 1st Rover experience & it was very positive. We've always relied on friends & family since we got him in 2021, but this time no one was available. We won't board him cause he is a rescue from the shelter. I did 5 or 6 different meet & greets & this was the best fit. I was super nervous to leave him with complete strangers, but they were so sweet & chill during the initial meeting, it just all fell into place. 3 of the highlights for me was their fenced in yard, they worked from home & their dog was very good with ours. Our dog is big, usually small dogs are intimidated by him. Not their doggy! He was so happy to have a buddy for the week. They sent pictures daily & allowed him to sleep wherever. I would absolutely book with them again.”

“Deb was amazing!! She took great care of my puppy Ryder. She made sure she knew Ryder’s needs and his schedule. She kept me updated and sent pictures too😊 I would recommend Deb to anyone- it is clear she is a dog lover!! :)”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs through personal pet-sitting and have developed a strong understanding of their daily needs, routines, and behaviors. I enjoy spending time with animals and am committed to making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I take pride in giving pets the same care and attention I would give my own! As a college student who’s currently on summer break, I have a pretty flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I can accommodate feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and regular check-ins while ensuring pets receive plenty of attention and affection. I can happily care for your furry companions most flexibly at times of 7-5 on week days and most of Saturdays and Sundays with plenty of room for overnights and weekly stays! I understand how important it is to trust somebody else with your pet, and I like to take that responsibility very seriously. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and special instructions given to me by owners to ensure the best possible care. Communication is crucial so I enjoy sending updates by phone to clients so they know their pets are happy and well cared for. When going outside, dogs will always be leashed with eyes on them AT ALL TIMES!
“It’s always hard to find someone to trust with your pets. Erin has watched our two dogs a couple of times now and they’ve come home happy! We especially appreciated her flexibility when we had a flight cancellation/delay and arrived home later than expected.”

“Briana is definitely comfortable taking care of dogs. This was the first time ever to leave my puppy with a "stranger" and other dogs. My energetic puppy instantly warmed up to Briana's small dog and Briana was so calm and helped my puppy quickly become comfortable with her bigger dog. My puppy had SO MUCH FUN at Briana's with her fun dogs and huge backyard (an Australian Shepherd's dream yard). I was and would be totally comfortable leaving my baby at her home!”

“My dog had a wonderful time. LaTasha sent updates, was very communicative and professional during my dogs stay. If we ever need a sitter again and she's and available we will definitely book again.”

Kurt was awesome with my 3 cats. He was patient and understanding with each of their needs and personalities. He gave one her medication with no problems or complaints. I loved when he sent daily updates and photos and it was very clear he was a true good cat guy. Even my shy shy kitty came out for him from time to time. Two thumbs up!

Andrea took very good care of my dog Sadie. Treated Sadie like she was her own fur baby. Sent photos every day to show how happy Sadie was and how things were going. I would definitely recommend Andrea as a pet sitter for your fur baby. I plan to use her again in the near future.

If we could give Mary 6 stars, we would! Our dog truly looked like she was living her best life at Mary’s house. She sent so many fun pictures and updates throughout the weekend, putting our mind at ease. She even took our girl on multiple walks to get her energy out and she came home soooo happy! So glad we found Mary, she is incredible!

Hongjun was incredibly friendly and made us feel at ease right away. She sent us lots of photos during our dog’s stay, which really reassured us. In the photos, our dog looked so relaxed and comfortable — it was clear that she was cared for like a family member. Our dog is quite picky and preparing her meals can be a bit of a hassle, but Hongjun handled everything so thoughtfully, which we truly appreciated. On top of that, her husband is a great animal photographer and even gifted us a wonderful photo of our dog! We would absolutely love to ask them again in the future. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
