About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. I am also an avid organic gardener and I love to grow my own food. I own a quaint cottage home with a fully fenced yard. All animals are allowed on the furniture so that they can indulge in the comfort they deserve. I love taking quirky puppy pics in beautiful places while on hikes and adventures. Playing is a great way to establish trust and blow off steam, and I try to capture that on camera as much as possible. I am an outdoor enthusiasts, and when I lived out West I regularly offered "adventure" packages for dogs who benefitted from extended hikes. My own dog Velma is famous on the lake for being my paddleboard companion! I would love the opportunity to work with elderly or disabled animals, and am competent administering medications. The original plan was that Lula would be able to join me at the VRBO my Family had rented so it was quite a surprise to find out that the property owners would not welcome any animals. So, the hunt began to find a space where she would be safe and welcomed. After speaking with Ilona S, I felt comfortable enough to book Luna's stay. And as soon as we arrived at her home, I knew we had made the best possible choice. Such a warm, friendly person. I met her Family and was impressed at how charming the house was decorated for the Fall season. Clean, tidy and festive! I received daily photos, video clips and texts about Lula's activity. “It was EXTREMELY hard for me to leave Mia, (my little goldendoodle) with a sitter for our family vacation. Mia was never left alone, and is always home with me. After doing A LOT of research, I decided to book a reservation with Tory (Rina). It was so hard to leave Mia, my daughter and I actually cried saying our goodbyes. Rina was so compassionate and reassured us that she would be just fine. Mia’s 6 day stay with this amazing family went extremely well. We received pictures, updates, and comments every single day. Mia was loved unconditionally by this family. They treated her as if she was their pet. They sent pictures of her cuddling, eating, playing etc…. When I picked up Mia, she was very content, clean and healthy. Rina was ready to shed a tear when she said goodbye to Mia. About: Erica and I have always loved & had dogs in our homes ever since we were kids. They were family, & we look forward to treating yours like family too. We have a very flexible with my schedule. We enjoy playing nerf dog, frisbie and fetch with the dogs during the day, and spending restful quiet time with them during the evenings. We have a nice sized fenced in backyard for them to play in, as well as a nice indoor sunroom that I have turned into a doggy indoor play area.
