“Rachel and her family did an amazing job watching Drake while I was out of town! He had a blast, they took the best care of him, she communicated great and sent plenty of pictures while I was away. Highly recommend and I will definitely be booking with her again next time I go out of town!”

“Alicia was really wonderful with hosting my dog for 5 nights. I really appreciate the easy and responsive communication and getting updates and photos throughout the time. They even were able to accommodate a lady minute schedule change, which I'm so thankful for. I'm looking forward to booking again when we travel and definitely recommend to anyone, your pet will be in good care and company.”

“I was extremely happy with Alexis. She has a very dog friendly home. She sent so many pictures that I always knew my dog was fine. He seemed to enjoy being there. She is my new first choice in sitters. Well done Alexis!”

“Amazing, definitely highly recommend. Our dog and cat are very social and need a lot of attention and they were very happy and comfortable from the start. Very responsive, friendly, provided a lot of updates and pictures. We found our go to for any future need for watching our pets.”

About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. I am also an avid organic gardener and I love to grow my own food. I own a quaint cottage home with a fully fenced yard. All animals are allowed on the furniture so that they can indulge in the comfort they deserve. I love taking quirky puppy pics in beautiful places while on hikes and adventures. Playing is a great way to establish trust and blow off steam, and I try to capture that on camera as much as possible. I am an outdoor enthusiasts, and when I lived out West I regularly offered "adventure" packages for dogs who benefitted from extended hikes. My own dog Velma is famous on the lake for being my paddleboard companion! I would love the opportunity to work with elderly or disabled animals, and am competent administering medications. It would be my pleasure to get to know your dog, cat, chicken, shrimp, goat, bird, hamster, and any other critters in your family! Feel free to contact me for references and resume. Animal - and seasonally, garden - services are my fulltime occupation, so the care of your furry family member is my top priority. Because I work for myself, I am able to adjust my schedule as needed to accommodate my clients' needs. When staying at a client's home, my practice is to leave it cleaner than when I arrived. I value my clients' trust as one of my greatest assets, and can ensure that your home and property will be respected at all times.
“Lahonna was prompt and on time. From the first meet and greet Mason and I knew that he would be in good hands! She sent plenty of videos of Mason smiling so big I didn’t have a doubt that he was enjoying himself. If I could could I’d give her six stars. Thanks again lahonna for taking such good care of him.”

“Brenda and her husband were the sweetest people that I’ve had watch over my dog due to my trip getting canceled. She kept my dog and took care of her until I had to get back safely. I highly recommend her. She was extremely kind and caring and sent me a lot of pictures and videos and kept me updated.”

“This was my first time using Rover and it was such a great experience with Kim and Joe. They are very clearly dog lovers and it was apparent that Milo was well taken care of by the updates and photos I received throughout our trip. I’d even say it was like a vacation for Milo - I think he had more fun there than at our house! Can’t say enough good things about Kim and Joe and look forward to using them again.”

About: I've had several dogs in my life and have enjoyed them all, especially our current dog, Maizey who is very friendly and energetic and would love to come along for the walk. We'll give your dog the same love and attention as our own. Use promo code: TEDR10205 if you are new to Rover.com for $20 off your first booking. I'm currently retired and can walk your dog in YOUR neighborhood almost any day and most evenings. I also offer daycare from our SECOND home. I normally walk our dog around 7am and again in the afternoon or evening. But I'm flexible and can adjust to your dog's needs. I would always prefer to do a meet & greet before your actual stay so that you and your dog can get to know us. I'm happy to take small/medium dogs up to about 25 pounds.

“my dogs must have enjoyed it because they didn’t act any different getting in the car and going home. They barely missed us. I can tell this family enjoyed taking care of my dogs and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were in good hands.”

Waterford pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is our second time leaving our two attention loving dogs with Elaine and again we could not be happier! Elaine sent us immediate updates to let us know our boy and girl acclimated with no problems. She then continued with updates and photos to help us knowing that we missed our pups. It allowed us to really enjoy our short trip knowing that our Lynus and Gracie were getting the attention and care that they deserve. Thank you, Elaine!

Annette watched my dog Daisy for 3 days and 2 nights in her home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Daisy has a lot of anxiety, and Annette went out of her way to make her feel safe and comfortable. She gave Daisy plenty of cuddles, took her on walks, and was very patient and caring throughout the stay. Annette also has a very sweet dog named Ethel, and Daisy really enjoyed playing with her, which helped Daisy relax and feel more at home. Annette kept me updated during the stay and sent pictures, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It’s clear that Annette genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and I would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Amber is always wonderful to our doggies - she is a consistent communicator and she goes above and beyond with their care, even when we don't ask for it. We have a senior dog who is intermittent about her eating when she's away from home, and Amber has taken the initiative to soften her food and even hand-feeds her! Our dogs love going to Amber's and we are always at ease when they're there!
Yvonne and Bert were great with our 13 year old dog. They made sure she got her meds daily. They stayed in contact with us with pictures and text messages. They have a doggy door that I really didn’t have high hopes for our dog to use, but she did with some coaxing. I would highly recommend Yvonne and Bert. They are definitely dog people and pretty laid back.
