About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. I am also an avid organic gardener and I love to grow my own food. I own a quaint cottage home with a fully fenced yard. All animals are allowed on the furniture so that they can indulge in the comfort they deserve. I love taking quirky puppy pics in beautiful places while on hikes and adventures. Playing is a great way to establish trust and blow off steam, and I try to capture that on camera as much as possible. I am an outdoor enthusiasts, and when I lived out West I regularly offered "adventure" packages for dogs who benefitted from extended hikes. My own dog Velma is famous on the lake for being my paddleboard companion! I would love the opportunity to work with elderly or disabled animals, and am competent administering medications. It would be my pleasure to get to know your dog, cat, chicken, shrimp, goat, bird, hamster, and any other critters in your family! Feel free to contact me for references and resume. Animal - and seasonally, garden - services are my fulltime occupation, so the care of your furry family member is my top priority. Because I work for myself, I am able to adjust my schedule as needed to accommodate my clients' needs. When staying at a client's home, my practice is to leave it cleaner than when I arrived. We’ve gotten to know him and his dog Maizey in the neighborhood over time (Maizey’s always so friendly with other dogs!), and he’s just a genuinely kind person. He took Odin on regular walks, sent us photos throughout the stay, and kept us updated the whole time, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. “We left our Jordy with Felisha the week before Christmas, at first we were uneasy because we had never left Jordy with a sitter before. But once we got there Felisha was so nice and welcoming. “We booked our trip pretty last minute and was very pleased that Alexis was accommodating and was able to watch our two pups (still call them pups even though they're nearly 3 😀). We could not be more pleased with Alexis! Immediately, she showed our pups love and they immediately gravitated to her. They had so much fun running and playing with other dogs in Alexis' spacious back yard. We know this because Alexis was kind enough to send many, many pictures and videos everyday. We looked forward to seeing those pictures/videos everyday. We missed our pups but we feel like we were able to enjoy our trip even more knowing that they were getting plenty of love, care, and attention. “Finally I did it! Had a hard time trying to post a review. Anthony is the absolute best. His Mom is so sweet too! I’ve had the luxury of having them care for my pet it’s no wonder they have 5 star ratings and as many return return customers as they do. My dog was so excited to go to their home and she hadn’t been gone for very long. We were out of town recently. She was idk how to exclaim her excitement but it’s like I didn’t exist bc she is so comfortable otherwise she would probably cower. She hasn’t since day 1. I get at least 10 pics per day. Such great comfort no concerns when i leave my Izzy Girl with A2! Try it! Pass it on I don’t think there’s a way to ever be disappointed ! Just sayin...”

Elaine did an exceptional job watching our dog, Flash! Her level of responsiveness and the regular updates she sent us while we were away gave us total peace of mind. Her home is clean, safe, and has a great, welcoming vibe. She and her daughter went above and beyond to make Flash feel comfortable—her daughter even slept with him so he wouldn't feel lonely! We felt completely confident leaving Flash in her care. Even though Elaine lives over half an hour away from us, she is 100% worth the drive, and we will most definitely have Flash stay with her again. Highly recommended!

My furbaby, Lilly, loves Amber. If she is available. She is always our number 1 choice. She sends photos or videos daily and is easy to get a hold of if needed. Lilly also gets super excited when we get to Amber’s house which is a huge win in our book! Lilly often has anxiety so this is a huge peace of mind for us. I highly recommend Amber to anyone who has a furbaby they want to have a good time while they are gone.
Annette watched my dog Daisy for 3 days and 2 nights in her home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Daisy has a lot of anxiety, and Annette went out of her way to make her feel safe and comfortable. She gave Daisy plenty of cuddles, took her on walks, and was very patient and caring throughout the stay. Annette also has a very sweet dog named Ethel, and Daisy really enjoyed playing with her, which helped Daisy relax and feel more at home. Annette kept me updated during the stay and sent pictures, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It’s clear that Annette genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and I would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!
Yvonne and Bert were great with our 13 year old dog. They made sure she got her meds daily. They stayed in contact with us with pictures and text messages. They have a doggy door that I really didn’t have high hopes for our dog to use, but she did with some coaxing. I would highly recommend Yvonne and Bert. They are definitely dog people and pretty laid back.
