I work from home in addition to my mom duties. I often have my mom’s dogs, Chewie and Wicket, here, but not all the time. Visiting and family dogs get lots of care and attention including walks and outside time in our fenced yard. Taking care of your beloved pet will fit perfectly into my routine and we'll benefit from more animal cuddles (or just a cute visitor if your pet isn't into PDA!). When we leave the house for short, family outings, we bring the dogs with us or utilize crates at the owner's discretion. We typically don't leave the dogs home alone for more than 3 hours.

I have a fenced yard and 2 children who are very respectful of dogs and boundaries. There is plenty of room in our home to accommodate a pet that might prefer its own space. Walks will happen as a group or individually, depending on the needs of the pet, and the same goes for outdoor time! Dogs can also be easily separated for feeding time if necessary.

Please tell me about any unique needs or behaviors your pet has ahead of time so we can make their stay as fun and comfortable as possible. We have young kids and often have small dogs in our home; as long as your pet will be happy in these conditions, they will be happy with us! Please note that we are happy to accept large dogs in our home, however there are a few behaviors we don't feel are a good mix with large dogs, small children, and a busy household: jumping on people, counter surfing, and resource guarding. If your large dog exhibits these behaviors, we ask that you please look for another boarder or sitter. Lastly, if your dog will not sleep in a crate, we ask that you please look for another boarder or sitter.

With our visiting dogs and my pet-loving kids, your pet will always have a playmate in our home! We typically will take a walk in the morning after the kids go to school and have extended outside time in the evening. Ball, fetch, and tug are all fun games we like to play throughout the day, too. Often, the dogs will take a naps whenever I work on the computer. Dogs may have brief crate time during the day when I run errands (~30 minutes) and sleep in a comfy covered crate with blankets at night. I will feed your pet according to your indicated schedule.

Hi there! Please read all of my profile before you consider having your pet stay in our family home. Dogs, cats, birds, and rodents have all been in my life consistently since childhood. I love taking care of animals and don't shy away from special or unique needs. Our family is so excited to have more animals in our life in addition to the many dogs and cats in our extended family. We treat visiting pets like part of the family from playing outside, to lounging on the couch, to family walks in our neighborhood. ** Please note that I only accept dogs who are crate trained and that boarding dogs will sleep in crates in my bedroom.

Amazing help! was very friendly and her household was warm and inviting to Jack, our pit mix!
Kristen was so great with our cat! She made sure Tunip had quiet places to stay and calm down after being stressed from the new environment. She was also very responsive and kept me updated throughout our trip. Overall, Kristen and her family were so kind and welcoming!
