About: A college student looking to use my love for animals to help others. 4+ years of animal care, 2 years volunteering at Humane Society of Macomb, and a go-to for watching family pets. Flexible, caring, and detail-oriented. In my hands, your furry friend is guaranteed to be spoiled with love. I have class from 10-11:45 Mon-Wens and 2-3:25pm Tues-Thurs. And typically work retail Mon, wens, sat, sun. I always have Fridays off. And I’m completely free before class or in between work. My schedule is put out weeks in advance so I’m able to communicate what hours I’m available and not. I don’t offer at-home boarding since I don’t have a fenced yard, but I’m happy to care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I’ll tidy up after myself, stick to their routine, and make sure they’re having fun whilst still maintaining a happy, and safe, environment.

About: I’ve watched all sorts of animals from rats and hamsters to puppies and adult dogs. I love animals and I want to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I have a partially blind fully deaf dog who was born like that so I absolutely have experience with disabilities and special needs. I can handle all sorts of pets i’m not scared of any animals and I believe that every animal is someone’s whole life and you need to make sure they’re treated like royalty. I also own a bunny and a kitten so whatever animal you have i’ll make sure to give them the best care possible. I am a college student and currently have classes 3 days a week but i’m hoping to move that to one or two days for future semesters. I cannot have pets in my home as i have 3 animals already. In your home I would want them to be leashed or have a fence of some sort to go outside, on walks etc. I am comfortable walking large dogs as long as they do not have a record of trying to get away. If you have any questions or concerns about specific things please feel free to ask!

I grew up with three dogs, two beagles and a Norwegian elkhound mix, which gave me experience caring for both playful young pups and sweet senior dogs. Over the years, I have also spent time with husky jack russell mixes, rottweilers, and pugs, so I am comfortable handling a wide range of dog breeds, personalities, and energy levels. “This is our first time using Rover. Introduced Frank to are 2 dogs before deciding that he was a great fit for us. I have an 18 year old deaf 45 pound mutt. My son has a 5 year old 60 pound Alaskan Shepherd that he rescued. We believe she had a hard life till now. It takes a while for her to earn your trust, but once she does, she is such a sweet and loving girl. Frank took his time and let her trust him at her own pace and are now friends. We had Frank come every day while I was gone and my son was working. He fed them, let them out and played with our Shepard and gave love and pettings to my old boy. He sent us pictures and updates every day on how they were doing. We were very happy with Frank. We are planning on requesting him in a couple of weeks while I'm gone again. We highly recommend using Frank for your pets.”

We are completely flexible and able to work with your schedule. We can even pick up and/or drop off your fur baby if it’s more convenient for you. Just ask us - we are more than happy to help! And while our profile says that we only take ONE dog at a time, we are happy to take two or three AS LONG AS THEY ARE FROM THE SAME FAMILY. We strongly believe in making your dog’s (or dogs’) experience as close to what you provide at home. That’s why we don’t have any other animals of our own and we won’t care for multiple dogs from outside your own family. It’s safer for your dog(s) and there is much less anxiety for them when they aren’t faced with unknown dogs. We endeavor to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable and calm as possible during their stay with us. Safety first! Our entire home has been recently remodeled and is very dog friendly. We keep chemicals out of sight and behind closed doors. Our yard is fenced in and there is a lot of space to run and play. Joe is “dog-walker extraordinaire” and loves to take long or short walks any time of day.
