“It was EXTREMELY hard for me to leave Mia, (my little goldendoodle) with a sitter for our family vacation. Mia was never left alone, and is always home with me. After doing A LOT of research, I decided to book a reservation with Tory (Rina). It was so hard to leave Mia, my daughter and I actually cried saying our goodbyes. Rina was so compassionate and reassured us that she would be just fine. Mia’s 6 day stay with this amazing family went extremely well. We received pictures, updates, and comments every single day. Mia was loved unconditionally by this family. They treated her as if she was their pet. They sent pictures of her cuddling, eating, playing etc…. When I picked up Mia, she was very content, clean and healthy. Rina was ready to shed a tear when she said goodbye to Mia. I highly recommend this family, and I will definitely use them in the future. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would :)”

She was extremely prompt on arriving each day and would stay extra long to give them all the attention and love they needed. She would even go out of her way to go find one of them if they were hiding under a bed to make sure they were ok. Our cats all have very different personalities and Lindsay was great at reading those and giving each cat the attention or space it needed. She took all the stress away from us being away and we knew our kitties were in great hands! On top of all the kitty duties, she was also great at grabbing our mail everyday, bringing out trash bins and keeping the house clean and tidy! We would highly recommend Lindsay and use her again! About: I have owned dogs my entire adult life, usually two at a time. Whether your dogs like to play, be chased, fetch, go on walks or just chill and be pet or brushed I’m happy to do any of the above. My dogs Rebel and Eve particularly love being chased from the front yard to the back yard and around the patio table, going for walks, and being combed and brushed outside on the deck especially on a nice sunny day. I am currently a graduate student getting my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. I take classes two days a week over the summer. I am a very trustworthy person. I have worked in the local community at my childrens’ former elementary school for 10 years and prior to that, I volunteered at the school. During the school year, I substitute teach in the Romeo and Rochester School Districts and go to Oakland University where I am earning my Master’s degree in Elementary Education. While in your house I will respect your privacy and only enter areas specifically agreed upon between us and be sure to clean up any incidental messes that your pet may make, check and double-check to ensure that your pets are safe and secure in any kennels or cages (if used) and the doors are locked. Basically, I will treat your home as I would my own…and I am a very neat and organized person. 🙂
About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 10 and have always had one or two dogs living in my house. I've raised several dogs and cared for them from puppy stages to their senior years. I've owned and cared for many breeds from golden retrievers to pitties, Chihuahuas and shepherds. I have never met a dog that hasn't become my friend. I run my own business in the evenings during the week but am available before 4pm during the weekdays and can be available all day on weekends. Your house your rules, tell me exactly how you want your dog cared for and I'll have no problem providing that service. From walks to playing with them in a yard to cleaning up after them.

“Lauren is great. I had already booked Lauren to come on a specific day where both my husband and I work long hours. On this day, my chronic illness appeared which sometimes keeps me bedridden so Lauren kept the appointment anyway and walked Mabel. I felt such relief because I feel guilty about not giving Mabel the outdoor time and exercise that she needs when I become ill. Lauren is so dependable and Mabel clearly enjoys her.”
About: I want you to know that I have experience with giving animals pills. I have also watched dogs with trauma who have a hard time accepting new people because I have a calming presence. Not officially trained but have taken care of dogs through seizures and I'm always willing to learn more. I currently work full-time during the week between the hours of 3pm-10pm on monday and 1pm-10pm Tuesday through Friday so I am always willing to visit during the midday to check on your furry babies. I can always watch them if you have a weekend where you are away. I will not be able to take care of pets in my home because I am not allowed dogs and currently already have the max number of cats.
