About: Hello, I am an experienced pet owner. I currently have dogs, reptiles and amphibians, but have had cats, Guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish in the past. I have also helped care for goats and horses. No matter what your pet is, I am your person to call. Dogs, caged rabbits, guinea pigs or reptiles are welcome in my home. Sorry but my one dog is not cat friendly. Over night care in my home only. For animals with medical needs, I have worked in health care/radiology since 1990, and have also worked as an EMT. I am comfortable giving meds, even those that need to be injected. Friends and family have relied on me for their pet care, and you can too. I work Monday through Friday eight hour days. While at work I have cameras monitoring your pup(s) and I check on them often. Weekend is all about the animals. I have a large fully privacy fenced yard for your pups to run with my dogs. They will have lots of space to play in and sniff around.
About: I am a retired Spanish teacher with an empty nest. Besides being able to handle Middle Schoolers, I have experience raising and training Leader Dogs. I have also raised Labradors, Akitas and Great Danes (even a few chickens). My schedule allows me the flexibility of popping in to check on your fur-baby when they need it the most during the week. On weekends I am free to make multiple visits throughout the day if needed. Or your bestie can stay with us and play the days away. They will return to you happy and tired out! I look forward to spending my new found free-time pampering your pooch! (They might even learn another language) I am available daily. My times are VERY flexible, so when you contact me I'm sure we can make something work that fits your schedule! Your dog will have "free range" at my home whenever I am with them. I have several gates/doors within the house and usually block off certain areas to make sure curious pups aren't getting into trouble or if a dog just needs some alone time to chill. The dogs go out to play in the yard many times a day (weather permitting). I have toys GALORE but you are always able to bring your own. The dogs and my family are ALL vaccinated!
“Jamie spoils our puppy rotten when she is with him. She takes him for runs, makes sure he gets water, and plays with him and his favorite toys. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”
About: I have had cats most of my life. I know all about personalities! I know that pets need loving, especially when you are away. I had a cat that stopped eating once when I was on vacation and that ended up with a trip to the ER Vet. Needless to say, I know how imporant a good pet sitter is to keep your pet from feeling lonely. They need cuddles and play time. Of course, that goes along with the daily tasks of feeding, emptying the litter, walks, etc. I am a retired teacher. After teaching, I was my husband's caregiver while he battled cancer. I lost him a few months ago and now find myself lonely and looking for something to do. Since I love cats, I figured taking care of other people's cats and dogs would be a great way to spend some time. I treat pets like members of the family (because that's what they are). They get everything they need from me. I will make them feel loved and cared for when you can't be there. I can also check the house while you are away to be sure there aren't problems. I can water plants, too. I don't want you to worry about anything while you are gone. Anything I can do to make leaving easier, I will do!
About: Hi I’m Brooke and I love animals of all kinds! I would LOVE to spend time playing with, walking and caring for your pet! I’ve had years of experience caring for pets of family members, neighbors, friends, and my own. I’ve grown up around many dogs in my household and I now have 2 cats. My pets are family as I’m sure yours are too! I’ve learned the responsibility of caring for pets at a young age and I treat each pet with love and compassion! Looking for something part time on the weekends. I currently am a special education aide at a school. I work school hours and have limited availability. In the summer I will have more days and times available. I will treat your pets like I treat my own with providing them with the care they need! I will make sure all their needs are met and be mindful of their likes/dislikes and any special needs or information. If requested, we could set up a meet and greet before I spend longer durations with your pet.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and experienced multi-dog household owner who understands how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet 🐾 I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I pay close attention to body language and behavior, and I always prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure your pet feels comfortable. I work as a nurse, so caring for others is truly at the heart of who I am. You can expect your pet to be treated with patience, kindness, and dependable care every time I visit. Right now, I’m offering: • Dog walking • Drop-in visits (feeding, potty breaks, playtime, etc.) Whether your dog needs a quick walk, some extra attention during the day, or help while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re well cared for and happy. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands 💛 My schedule varies week to week, but I keep my availability updated and communicate clearly to ensure reliable care. I’m happy to work with your routine whenever possible! Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can provide consistent and stress-free care. During walks and drop-in visits, I make sure pets are secure at all times, use proper leash handling, and pay close attention to their surroundings and behavior. I’m very mindful of things like doors, gates, and potential hazards to keep your pet safe. In your home, I treat your space with respect and keep everything clean, secure, and just as you left it. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have and will always communicate clearly with updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away. With experience caring for my own four dogs, I’m very comfortable reading body language and adjusting care to meet each pet’s needs.
About: I have grown up with all sorts of pets ranging from german shepherds, cats, birds, etc. Although I have always had some responsibility over childhood pets, I really took over all of the responsibility for my cat of 5 years. Beyond this I grew up dog sitting for neighbors along with family pets. I have experience in training and working with puppies as well. I am currently a college student with a part time daycare position but I have a very flexible schedule to watch your babies especially during the summer months. I currently have 2 cats in my home that do well with other pets. I am willing to do whatever is best for your pets and your home, because I understand how picky certain pets are (especially spoiled ones like my own)!
About: I have a dog of my own that I’ve been caring for 6 years, i take directions well and understand that every animal has specific needs and care that i will be careful of to give them the best time with me. I’m currently in college and have a ton of time on my hands as i do online classes. My availability is pretty flexible and open, if not i will always let you know as early as i can. I’m not as strict with my own dog, i give them a wide variety of food for her diet instead of just dog food to help her stay healthy. I have cared for a friend’s dog and cat as well, where their dog needed frequent diaper changes and the cat needed insulin shots after they eat to treat their diabetes, i had also helped watch over a relative’s dog when they were a few months old for a night and helped with cleaning and walks.
“Iyla checked in on my cats while I was away overnight. She said they did great. The social one followed her around and my skittish one actually came out for her! Thank you so much for taking care of my cats while I was away Iyla!”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and dependable pet caregiver who truly loves working with animals. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a gentler pace. I’m comfortable giving oral medications and always make sure pets stay on their regular routines. I love walking dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention during our time together. I also have experience caring for young kittens (as young as 8 weeks old) and helping with safe, gradual introductions between cats in multi-pet homes. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved and secure while you’re away! I currently work at a school and can be available before, during lunchtime for a brief check in, and anytime after. I will be off all summer and available any time of the day. My cats have routine feeding times with multiple water fountains throughout our home. They have multiple electronic toys to play with in addition to direct play time with me.

“Mikayla did a great job watching my dog. Texting me updates on how she was doing, giving me a report of what happened and more made me feel great while I'm at work knowing my pup is getting taken care of. I would recommend anybody to have Mikayla check in on their dogs!”

About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 10 and have always had one or two dogs living in my house. I've raised several dogs and cared for them from puppy stages to their senior years. I run my own business in the evenings during the week but am available before 4pm during the weekdays and can be available all day on weekends. Your house your rules, tell me exactly how you want your dog cared for and I'll have no problem providing that service. From walks to playing with them in a yard to cleaning up after them.

Mount Clemens dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be truly happier with the experience! Kelsey took exceptional care of our German Shepherd, Mia. She checked in everyday with photos and detailed updates — including how much Mia ate and drank, walked, potty updates, medication distribution and any concerns. Kelsey went above and beyond and it gave us complete peace of mind. We highly recommend her!
