“I was in need of a pet sitter and am so glad I found Gabby on Rover. She was very communicative throughout the whole process and I appreciated her visit updates while I was away. She did a great job taking care of my cat. I will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: Ive always loved all animals, and have had experience all through my life with them as I've had cats and dogs my whole life, I currently have 2 dogs at home, and they are crazy! I do now have and specific or special training with pets, I do know how to take care of and handle daily tasks for cats/dogs. I am looking to take care of pets full time for now, and want to continue taking care of them into the future, I'm available most days out of the week every week. With my dogs at home I walk them, pick up the poop and throw it away, I feed them, they get 2 different foods, Jasper is a puppy and needs a slow feeder, buddy is 2 years and gets fed out of a normal bowl, they get fed twice daily once in the morning and once at night. They love to play fetch and tug of war, but also like their cuddle time.
“Kayla was great with Biscuit!! She provided plenty of pictures and updates. Biscuit is a kitten so he requires playtime and Kayla went the extra mile playing with him. You could tell she just loves cats”

About: Although I've never owned a dog, I have watched plenty for my friends and family. I love caring for dogs because there is never a dull moment. I'm a big walker, and I love when I dog sit and get some company on my walks. I am currently a full time student, with most of my classes being in the late afternoon/ early evening. With that being said, most mornings I am available. Cats don't require quite the same amount of attention as dogs, so I can always stop in to check on them before and after my class during the evening if needed. I treat every home I care for — including my own — like a safe, calm space for pets. At my place, my four cats have a predictable routine with plenty of food, water, litter boxes, and quiet spaces to retreat to. I pay close attention to their behavior, making sure everyone is comfortable, calm, and happy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely and respect the environment they’re used to. I keep their space tidy, maintain their usual routines, and ensure they have everything they need to feel safe — whether that’s food, water, clean litter boxes, or quiet corners to relax. I also observe interactions and personalities, adjusting my approach to match each pet’s comfort level. Updates and photos are part of my care so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and secure.
“Jamie was such a huge help this week! She was super sweet with my animals, always on time, responsive to messages, and she knew how to handle my very high energy pitbull. Would def recommend her and request her again!!”

“Alexandra did an amazing job with drop in visits with our cat, Francine. She handled all elements of Francine's care as discussed, was very communicative and sent pictures from each visit. Francine warned right up to her and we couldn't ask for more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Molly was absolutely phenomenal!!! Can't say enough positive things! She is kind, sweet, nice, and handled our unsocialized dogs with ease and expertise. Every visit she went above and beyond what we expected. Our German Shepherd that doesn't like anyone warmed up to her in only a few visits. Now they are best friends. Leaving our loved ones home has always been a stressful experience. Not anymore! We are so happy and fortunate to have found Molly, and can't wait to utilize her exemplary services again!”

“Courtney & Zack were great!! Because of my work schedule, I needed someone at the last minute to stop by and let my dog outside. I loved how quickly they responded and how easy the whole process was. Receiving photos of how things went was a bonus!! I will definitely be using them again!!!”

“Shelby was amazing! This was our first time using rover and it was definitely a great first experience. Moving from a different state and not having any close family to take care of our cats for us while on vacation was stressful at first but after Shelby’s first visit I could tell our cats were gonna be in great hands. She even went out of her way to replace our liter scooper when ours broke half way thru our vacation! We can thank you enough again for such amazing care!! ?”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
