About: I’ve always grown up with pets and found that I can’t imagine a life without them. So much so that I had to rescue a cat of my own! For three years now I have raised a cat, and along the way learned the importance of pet care and adoration. Since rescuing, I have always been eagerly available to take care of my friends’ and neighbors’ pets in any way, shape, or form. I am currently not working, so I am available most times of the weekdays! As for weekends, I do spend quite some time traveling, but will always be willing to make time if possible. I strongly believe in not only protecting pets, but showing them affection in every sense of the word when permitted. I recognize the stubbornness of cats and the eagerness of dogs, especially how they fluctuate, and work with them to fulfill their needs and desires when they evidently are ready for it. Whether it is house sitting, walking, or just checking in, I assure you that their emotional and physical needs will be my top priority. I would love to take care of your pet as if they were my own 💓

“We loved having Lauren stay at our home to watch our two dogs, Khloe and Willa! She was so patient with them, since Willa wasn’t quite potty trained yet... Lauren communicated with us daily and sent fun photos and updates on how the girls were doing! It gave us great comfort knowing that both our girls were at home and having fun with Lauren! When we came home, the house was clean and the girls were excited to see us. We know that they will be excited to see Lauren again for our next trip! We highly recommend Lauren!”

About: I have owned dogs for the last 15 years and enjoy spending as much time as i can with my animals. I have no problem if your family has any additional animals in your house as well. I also do not have any allergies to any animals. I have a zoology degree from Michigan State University and I currently work at MedVet in Commerce as a vet assistant so taking care of animals is something I have a passion for. I take pride in my work and your animals will be in great care because of that. I have watched friends dogs and houses before and enjoy seeing different animals personalities. “Our dog, Jerry, is a 13.5 year old Wheaten Terrier who has trouble moving around and has failing eyesight. On top of that he had a wound on his left leg that was in the final stages of healing. With all this we were very nervous about leaving him for 10 days while we traveled to attend a family get-together. While we were scouting for a dog sitter our vet recommended Jami. We got very comfortable after our meeting with Jami that we were leaving our pet ( and home ) in safe hands. She kept us updated during the whole time when we were away and took very good care of Jerry. We are very happy with her services. I would definitely recommend Jami as a very capable and dependable dog sitter.”
