“Bonnie surpassed all expectations! My pups took to her immediately at the meet and greet, and were showered with attention during the overnight housesitting. Bonnie brought treats and ruffs for my dogs and sent several pictures and dates over the 2 days. My German Shepherd is especially a nervous Nelly, but he was happy and at ease with Bonnie right away. Caring for two big dogs is not the easiest, but Bonnie did an amazing job. I was so relieved I didn’t have to leave them at daycare and that they were being so well cared for. If you can work with Bonnie, do it! I am so happy to have found a reliable and enthusiastic carer for my dogs.”

About: I have worked in the veterinary medical field for 6+ years and have thousands of hours of experience as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats, with all different personalities- that’s what makes them all unique and I love it! I am currently very flexible with my weekly routine and I am more than happy to meet with you beforehand if you feel more comfortable. As an avid cat owner, I have Toulouse naturally leash-trained. I have an enclosure for him so he can enjoy the outside, while also being safe. At clients’ homes, I follow all instructions to make sure the pet is safe. I also will make sure the pet is always in my sight if outside.
About: Hi, I’m Maddy! I’m a reliable and responsible pet sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just keeping your pup company, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, energy level, and routine. I take the time to follow your instructions closely so your dog’s schedule stays consistent. My goal is to make your dog feel happy, relaxed, and at ease—even when you’re not home. While I’ve had cats my entire life, I’ve spent many years caring for family dogs and dog-sitting regularly. Through that experience, I’ve become comfortable handling different temperaments and energy levels, and I’ve learned how to build trust quickly with new dogs. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from pit bull mixes to mid-sized doodles to small Maltese. I’m confident working with a variety of breeds, whether they’re energetic and playful or more calm and relaxed. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays in your dog’s home. I also provide regular updates with plenty of photos of your pup, so you can feel confident knowing your dog is in good hands. Pet care fits easily into my routine right now because I have a lot of availability this summer. I’m only taking a few college classes, so my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, stick closely to their routines, and be available for walks, drop-in visits, or extended care throughout the week. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. During visits, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific needs your pet may have. I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I also keep your home tidy and respect your space. Communication is very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep you informed and give you peace of mind while you’re away.
“Melissa was great, She arrived on time or early. She fed the cats according to my schedule. She updated me with photos. She even put my dishes up and took my trash out to the curb.”

“Christine has now watched our pups twice and we definitely trust her with our girls! She is great with them and knows exactly how to give them love and care when we have to go away!”

“I can’t say enough good things about our dog sitter! From the moment we met, I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care. She was reliable, attentive, and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog came home happy, well cared for, and clearly loved while I was away. It’s such a relief knowing I have someone I can trust with my furry family member. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog sitter!”

“We were so happy with Kelsey! She pet sat for us, in home, over the New Years holiday. Our Rottweiler absolutely loved her, and was so happy and comfortable with her, and so were we. She sent lots of pictures while we were away, and followed all of our instructions to a tee. We will definitely be booking for pet sitting with Kelsey again!”

“We wholeheartedly recommend Nicholas for dog sitting! He took exceptional care of our dog during the week we were away. We were so impressed with his dedication to ensuring all of her needs were met. He diligently walked her for a full hour each day, made sure she had plenty of food and water, and was consistent with her potty breaks. What we appreciated most was the time Nicholas spent at our house, providing our dog with the companionship she needed. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she wasn't just being cared for, but also had someone there with her. We will absolutely be hiring Nicholas again in the future!”

“We had such a great experience with Deena! She was incredibly kind, professional, and clearly loves animals. She was happy to meet our dogs beforehand, which really put our minds at ease. Everything went smoothly while we were away, and we came home to happy pups. Would absolutely book her again without hesitation!”

About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 10 and have always had one or two dogs living in my house. I've raised several dogs and cared for them from puppy stages to their senior years. I've owned and cared for many breeds from golden retrievers to pitties, Chihuahuas and shepherds. I have never met a dog that hasn't become my friend. I run my own business in the evenings during the week but am available before 4pm during the weekdays and can be available all day on weekends. Your house your rules, tell me exactly how you want your dog cared for and I'll have no problem providing that service. From walks to playing with them in a yard to cleaning up after them.
About: Although I've never owned a dog, I have watched plenty for my friends and family. I love caring for dogs because there is never a dull moment. I'm a big walker, and I love when I dog sit and get some company on my walks. I am currently a full time student, with most of my classes being in the late afternoon/ early evening. With that being said, most mornings I am available. Cats don't require quite the same amount of attention as dogs, so I can always stop in to check on them before and after my class during the evening if needed. I treat every home I care for — including my own — like a safe, calm space for pets. At my place, my four cats have a predictable routine with plenty of food, water, litter boxes, and quiet spaces to retreat to. I pay close attention to their behavior, making sure everyone is comfortable, calm, and happy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely and respect the environment they’re used to. I keep their space tidy, maintain their usual routines, and ensure they have everything they need to feel safe — whether that’s food, water, clean litter boxes, or quiet corners to relax. I also observe interactions and personalities, adjusting my approach to match each pet’s comfort level. Updates and photos are part of my care so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and secure.

About: I’ve always been in love with animals and have grown up surrounded by pets, caring for a bunch of my own over the years. I’ve gained hands on experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from playful puppies to senior pups with special needs. I focus on creating a routine that keeps each dog happy, healthy, and comfortable while their owners are away. Walks, playtime, and plenty of attention are always part of the day, and I make sure to communicate regularly so you feel confident your furry friend is in good hands. My goal is simple: provide dependable, loving care that gives both you and your dog peace of mind. Pet care is a regular part of my day. I make time for walks, feeding, play, and attention, and I’m flexible to fit each pet’s needs into my schedule. I keep pets safe and comfortable, following their routine and providing supervision, care, and attention in a calm environment whether that be my home or yours!

“We have a new puppy that we adopted that isn’t fully potty trained yet. Sarai actually stayed with her (and our older dog) while we were out at a party and did a great job. She was very punctual, friendly, and our dogs loved her. Thank you Sarai!”

“Venus would send pics and status updates every day or whenever we asked. She is very nice and my pets got along great with her. I trust her with my pets and would rebook in the future :)”

About: I bring a lot of energy, reliability, and genuine love for animals. Even though I don’t have a pet of my own, I’ve cared for many dogs and cats through friends and family and have lots of experience with walks and playtime. I’m a very active individual and is extremely diligent/consistent, so I’m especially great for dogs who need regular exercise, structure, and engagement. I typically go on 4 mile walks everyday and would love to have your pet join me. I just finished medical school and am in my in-between phase before residency, so I have a lot of free time and love using it to stay active. I already go on 2–3 walks a day (even in the cold Michigan weather!), so having a dog join me would be a perfect addition to my routine I truly believe dogs are like little kids they need attention, patience, and a safe environment. I’ve worked in childcare before, which helped me become very attentive and adaptable, even when pets can’t directly communicate what they need. I’m also very clean and respectful. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I will treat your space as if it were my own and make sure everything is left just as you found it. I recently completed medical school, so being responsible, trustworthy, and detail-oriented is very important to me.

Waldenburg pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had a wonderful experience with Madison! She was incredibly communicative and kept us updated on Spock the entire time we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Poor Spock had an upset stomach one morning, and she handled it like a pro - taking great care of him and even cleaning up the mess without missing a beat. It was such a relief knowing our home and our boy were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!

Irene was great with our two beagles! When we got home from being gone, they acted as if we were only gone an hour rather than a week. I was worried about our anti-social (afraid of all people) 7yr old, but Irene had her eating out of her hand (literally)! Thank you Irene!!!
Megan was great with my two dogs and cat! I was nervous to leave them while going on vacation, especially because my senior dog was taking meds from an illness and there were no issues at all. She provided updates and pictures throughout the stay with them. Highly recommend!
