About: I have been caring for my family pets my whole life. I have cared for babies to seniors. I am very comfortable giving oral, eye, ear, and injection medicines on a set schedule. I find daily enrichment important as well as keeping them properly fed, and taking care of routine and unique potty and litter box care. My pets are my children. We have scheduled feeding times, potty breaks, and litter cleaning daily. As animals are unpredictable, I am always ready for the moment everything changes and we have to go off schedule. When it comes to walks, I always check the weather and any factors that will alter the routine, such as avoiding hot sidewalks, a jacket in the cold, or a shorter leash in neighborhoods and a little extra freedom when it is safe to do so. Every animal is different and has different needs. In the home it is important to keep to the animal’s routine as much as possible. It is also imperative to pay attention to each animal’s cues. It is expected for them to have different needs when their parents aren’t home. On walks one must be prepared for different environments and be ready to react to the unexpected.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs in my own house using rover in the past. I’ve always been good with all types of dogs. Food, potty time, walks I can do it all! I’m a pre aviation student starting in January. I have a very flexible schedule giving me plenty of time through the week to care for, walk, and spend time with dogs. Once school begins, I will continue to pet sit/walk dogs throughout my break's. I always make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. In the past, we had a tough time finding a boarding solution that worked well for our pup, Memphis. We couldn't travel until trying Rover for the first time in 2019 and falling in love with the service—so much so that we became Rover sitters ourselves. About: When I was a little kid, my dream job was to be a veterinarian, so you can imagine my excitement when I got into the vet tech program right out of high school. Despite that, I quickly fell flat on my face and decided I couldn’t emotionally handle it. I’m undecided about schooling now, but I’ve never lost the love I have for animals or the desire to work with them in one way or another. I started working full-time at an animal hospital in the boarding & grooming wing for almost 6 years, and I do pet-sitting in my free time! I have worked at a veterinary hospital for quite a few years, so I am quite familiar with both dogs and cats behaviors. I am educated in identifying if there is an emergency situation going on with your pet that requires immediate attention! I can medicate pets orally or even give daily injections if your pet requires this. My work schedule does not always work for some pet owners preferences, so feel free to ask me any questions! I’m willing to house sit and I can clean up litter boxes daily, or even scoop pet messes outside! I am also willing to take your pet on daily walks if needed. Savannah helped us out during spring break when our original sitter backed out last minute. She was an angel. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
