About: Hello, I am an experienced pet owner. I currently have dogs, guinea pigs and reptiles/amphibians, but have had cats, tortoises, rabbits, and fish in the past. I have also helped care for goats and horses. No matter what your pet is, I am your person to call. Small to medium sized dogs (under 30 lbs.), caged rabbits, guinea pigs or reptiles are welcome in my home. Over night care in my home only. For animals with medical needs, I have worked in health care/radiology since 1990, and have also worked as an EMT. I am comfortable giving meds, even those that need to be injected. Friends and family have relied on me for their pet care, and you can too. I work Monday through Thursdays at a hospital, but have three day weekends so plenty of playtime for your pup. While at work I have cameras monitoring your pup(s) and I check on them often. I have a large fully fenced yard for your pups to run with my dogs. They will have lots of space to play in and sniff around.

8. Tara K.
“Tara stayed with my family's Dalmation for over a week while we were away and she did an amazing job. We felt so safe knowing Tara was there to care for our dog and make sure she had company. Her update messages were full of details and compassion. When we returned home, the house looked exactly how we left it. It is clear that Tara takes her responsibility seriously and we highly recommend her for all pet-related care.”

9. Danielle M.

“Danielle was excellent! She came when requested and walked and interacted with my lonely pup and sent great feedback and pictures!”

10. Caitlin K.
About: I have been living with and caring for dogs and cats my whole life. I have been trusted by family, friends, and neighbors with pet sitting or drop-ins since I was 12 years old. I have also volunteered at local animal shelters to walk dogs, clean litter boxes, help with feeding time, adoption services, meet-and-greets, and social development training. We have also fostered dozens of puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats in our home over the last 10 years. I am a former teacher who now works from home, so I am looking to get some fresh air and have an excuse to stretch my legs each day. I love cats and dogs, so their care and safety are my priorities, whether they are mine or someone else's. Our pets are our fur babies and we need to give them the same unconditional love and devotion that they show to us. I can play, cuddle, walk, feed, and clean up after your fur baby when I come to your home.

11. Denise v.
About: I've had dogs continuously for the past 27 years. For several years, I had 3 Weimaraners and recently lost our last wonderful dog when she was 15.5 years old. I grew up in a household with cats and I still assist my parents with their cats. This is the first time I have not had a pet in the house. I am taking this opportunity in life to give back to the pet community that helped me when I had boarding needs. I will love and care for your pets as if they were my own. I work 80% if the time from home and my in office days can be flexible, my job is mostly on the computer. I will accommodate your needs for feeding and any other special care. I have a fenced yard. Pets are welcome crated or not crated- I have crates if needed. Couches are fair game and I also have dog beds and toys.

12. Julia O.
“For as long as I can remember Julia has always kept up with the dogs and giving love or play time. She’s administered many medications to my dog. She has knowledge of dogs with diabetes as well.”

14. Ariel C.
“Ariel was amazing at watching my dog Stella! Stella was well taken care of and loved Ariel very much! She was always excited to see her and Ariel was very friendly with her. Stella was well-groomed and well-fed. She’s super outgoing and a lovely person.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. Mainly little dogs such as shih tzus and maltese. But I’ve also pet sat my grandparents dogs and they have a golden doodle who is 5 and a ausie doodle who is 8 months old. I also have two cats. I take good care of them, make sure they are fed, played with,& have exercise. I guarantee you I’ll take good care of your fluffy babies. I’ll also make sure they don’t get out and run away because that has happened to my dog with a sitter on rover last year, and she was missing for 5 days. So I wouldn’t put that hurt on you because it killed me and my mom. I love animals and would never hurt them either. I keep animals safe i currently do pet sitting full time so as long as i dont have a many dogs/cats to watch i can gladly watch yours when needed! i sadly cant care for your pets at my house but for drops in i will feed, play and let your dogs outside, or for walks. for house sitting i will come stay with your pets and keep them company while you are away and play with them and keep them and your house safe

16. Carrie C.

My baby, Nio, absolutely loves going on walks with her, seeing her when she stops by to let him out, and really loves it when she takes care of him while I am on vacation.”

17. Sydney H.

“Sydney was great! My dog immediately loved her and she took great care of him. Sydney will be our first call next time we need help with Lucky.”

About: My Life with Pets From a young age, I've always had a deep love and passion for animals of all kinds. Growing up, my family shared this affinity for pets, and I was fortunate to be surrounded by a variety of furry, feathered, and scaly companions. This early exposure ignited a lifelong curiosity to learn and understand the unique needs and behaviors of different animal species. As an adult, my love for pets has only grown stronger. I've had the privilege of caring for my own beloved pets over the years, including a Husky that I owned for 10 wonderful years. After losing my Husky, I welcomed two new canine companions, who are now 4 years old. These dogs can still be intense and energetic at first, but have largely settled into a calmer demeanor. Beyond my personal pet ownership, I've also had the opportunity to care for the animals of family and friends, as well as through pet sitting services like Rover. In fact, I've been an active Rover sitter for the past 8 years, providing loving, attentive care to a wide variety of furry companions. My home offers a great environment for pets, with a sizable fenced-in yard where they can safely explore and play. As a true animal enthusiast, I take great pride and joy in ensuring the wellbeing of every pet in my care. To maintain a healthy, safe environment, I do request that all pets be up-to-date on flea medication and vaccinations. Whether it's my own pets or those entrusted to me, I approach each animal with the same level of care, compassion, and dedication. My life-long passion for pets has shaped me into a responsible, attentive, and loving caregiver, and I am honored to be a part of the lives of the furry friends I have the privilege of meeting. I work part-time I’m usually home by 1:30-2pm and my husband has a few days off during the week. So pups are only left the max of 5-6 hrs, if that. My boys are not crated at night or during the day, but they have been crate trained. When watching other dogs in my house I usually crate them or separate dogs with baby gates.

19. Sarah S.
“I highly recommend Sarah for any position involving the care of animals. I have two pit bulls and she has been my go-to caregiver for 5 years. One of my dogs has severe behavioral issues and I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find proper care for a dog with his struggles. I feel so lucky to have found such a compassionate and reliable caregiver for him. Sarah is extremely patient with my dog's special needs and she has always gone above and beyond in providing him care. I know I can always rely on her to treat both my dogs with compassion and that has given me complete peace of mind knowing I can trust my dogs with her! My two dogs absolutely love when Sarah comes to take care of them! Whether its just a quick play in the backyard, walk, or an overnight stay, I know that they are well cared for and safe with Sarah!”

20. Diana L.
“I highly recommend Diana as a pet sitter. She is dependable, takes great care of the dogs and they love her! 1 of my dogs requires a bit more care due to medical issues and I trust Diana 100% to care for him. She goes above and beyond and takes pride in what she’s does!”
