Loving and Caring pet sitter

My Life with Pets From a young age, I've always had a deep love and passion for animals of all kinds. Growing up, my family shared this affinity for pets, and I was fortunate to be surrounded by a variety of furry, feathered, and scaly companions. This early exposure ignited a lifelong curiosity to learn and understand the unique needs and behaviors of different animal species. As an adult, my love for pets has only grown stronger. I've had the privilege of caring for my own beloved pets over the years, including a Husky that I owned for 10 wonderful years. After losing my Husky, I welcomed two new canine companions, who are now 4 years old. These dogs can still be intense and energetic at first, but have largely settled into a calmer demeanor. Beyond my personal pet ownership, I've also had the opportunity to care for the animals of family and friends, as well as through pet sitting services like Rover. In fact, I've been an active Rover sitter for the past 9 years, providing loving, attentive care to a wide variety of furry companions. I also offer drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays at the owners' homes, ensuring pets receive the care and attention they need while their owners are away. My home offers a great environment for pets, with a sizable fenced-in yard where they can safely explore and play. As a true animal enthusiast, I take great pride and joy in ensuring the wellbeing of every pet in my care. To maintain a healthy, safe environment, I do request that all pets be up-to-date on flea medication and vaccinations. Whether it's my own pets or those entrusted to me, I approach each animal with the same level of care, compassion, and dedication. My lifelong passion for pets has shaped me into a responsible, attentive, and loving caregiver, and I am honored to be a part of the lives of the furry friends I have the privilege of meeting.

Christine is very good with Buddy and reliable; I don’t have to worry about him being in good hands when we’re gone.

Christine cared for our 3 dogs and cat. They had never been without me and my husband. Christine spent time with them to help get over their anxiety of us being gone. She even had to give insulin shots after each meal to our diabetic cat, which she had never done before. She came over before our trip to give the insulin shot so she would be more comfortable giving it. All of our pets were thrilled to see us when we came home. But, it was obvious they were happy while we were gone as Christine sent pictures daily showing us our pack’s continued calm and happy selves. She is devoted to making animals feel secure and safe in the absence of their owners. She goes above and beyond to ensure the animals are given love and proper care. We will call Christine going forward as she really cares for the animals like we would ❤️

Christine was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Jackson and Kato. This was her first stay with them, and unfortunately she walked into a situation none of us fully understood at the time. Our senior dog, Jackson, was in the very early stages of what we later learned was likely a stroke or other serious medical event. His condition deteriorated rapidly after we returned home, and we ultimately had to help him cross the rainbow bridge just a few days later. Throughout her stay, Christine was observant, compassionate, communicative, and incredibly kind to both dogs. She cared for Jackson with patience and love during what turned out to be one of the final weekends of his life, and I will always be grateful for that. Knowing he spent those days being cuddled, comforted, and genuinely cared for brings our family tremendous comfort. She also completely won over our other senior dog, Kato, who adored her from the start. Christine followed detailed medication instructions, cared for two dogs with significant medical needs, took wonderful care of our home, and communicated thoughtfully throughout her stay. Most importantly, she treated our dogs like they were her own. We would welcome Christine back without hesitation and hope to have her spend time with Kato again in the future. Anyone considering booking with her should feel completely confident doing so. Thank you, Christine, for your kindness, professionalism, and for showing so much love to our boys.

Excellent care and communication while we traveled internationally. The daily photos were a huge amount of comfort while away. The pets seemed very happy. Would definitely book again!
