About: I have owned five dogs and have fostered about a dozen others. I have taken care of dogs for family and friends when they have gone on vacations. Four of my dogs were rescued from the streets and I inherited the fifth. I also had a cat in my younger years. I enjoy hanging out with animals so taking care of other people's pets feels like a win-win. You get peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands and I get to have some furry friends around. I've had dogs for most of my adult life but don't have any right now. My job requires travel at times so I'm not ready to get my next dog just yet. When I'm not traveling, I work from home and it's always nice to have some furry friends around when I'm at home! I have a large fenced yard and can go outside with your dog if that gives you peace of mind. My house is fairly small but there is plenty of room for crates and toys.

About: I’ve been watching my friends and family dogs for 10+ years. I’ve grew up with multiple dogs at my house since I was little. I’ve always loved dogs and currently have a rescued Mini schnauzer. I’m new to the St. Clair Shores area. I’ve accepted a role that doesn’t start until August, so I have open availability to take care of your fur babies. The safety, well-being, and comfort of every pet in my care are my highest priorities. I am committed to providing a secure, supervised, and positive environment while following each pet’s individual care instructions. My goal is to ensure both pets and their owners feel confident, informed, and supported throughout every booking.
About: Hi and thanks for reading our profile! My husband and I are both pet lovers with years of experience with our own pets and 5+ years of professional experience. My husband is busy with his full time job these days so I do all of the house sitting and drop ins. Eric does help with boardings in our home. Being a pet sitter is my full time job. My house sitting hours are 6 pm to 6 am with one drop in midday included in the price. Additional drop ins would need to be added to the booking. Dogs boarding in our home are let out every 2 hours at least. Someone is usually always at home to care for your pets. We are very careful with dogs that we walk to keep them accounted for. Dogs in our home are kept gated from our front door to reduce the risk of escape. Our backyard is fully fenced. Dogs that are being house sat/ boarded will be walked daily if you provide an adequate leash/ harness/ collar. Our home is fully fenced in the backyard and reinforced around the bottom for small dogs to prevent escape. We do ask that all boarded dogs be crate trained. This is for their own protection and gives them a safe environment of their own.
“Nicole is the best! She sends pictures and updates, is reliable and you can tell she is an animal lover. I feel at ease knowing she will be there to walk and care for my dog while I’m working a long shift. Thank you for everything! Izzy can’t wait to see you again.”

“Katie was awesome! I needed someone to walk my Coonhound George, because of my bad knees. George loved her! She did an awesome job and even gave me some helpful tips on walking him for a less stressful walk. The next day I used those tips and my walk with George was so much better (he's very strong), I'm hoping my knees feel better soon, but until then, I'm going to have Katie walk him for the next few days. I'm so glad I found her!!”

“Jillian was a lifesaver! I knew immediately when Zoey met her, we would vibe. I am far away on vacation and she's been a huge help for my family. Being that my dog is a senior, the excellent communication and photos I received has eased my mind. Thank you so much, Jillian!”

“Amber was always punctual and very communicative. She was flexible with times when we needed to adjust Ravi’s walk. Ravi always seemed happy when returning from a walk with her. We will definitely be calling Amber again when we need a dog walker. Highly recommended.”

About: I've been a dog owner most of my life and also have two grand dogs and a grand cat who I care for often. I'm experienced with any age, any sized dog and regularly walk two dogs at a time. When can we meet? I'm looking for a way to meet more dogs when away from my grand dogs and want to walk / and exercise more while providing a trustworthy option for your pet(s)! Inclement weather doesn't matter if your pet doesn't mind it. I'm already an experienced and trusted house sitter, plus dog and cat sitter (and can care for houseplants & yards too). I'll respect your privacy and care for your home & pets like I would my own. I'll provide updates and photos to put you at ease. I truly understand that your pets are your children.
About: Hello! My name is Lucie and I absolutely love pups of all shapes and sizes. From a child, I’ve always had a dog that I’ve cared for of different breeds from Beagle to Elkhound and now a Shepherd/Golden mix. I frequently dog sit for my brother who has an Aussie/Bernie mix. My dog recently suffered a TPLO tear and we’ve had to make significant adjustments due to complications that happened. I learned to help support his 115 pound frame for potty breaks, give shots, and give medications. His surgical team has even joked that I could get a job there once he’s healed up from all that I’ve learned. I work fully remote unless traveling (for which my schedule is blocked). My days are somewhat flexible to meet your families needs. Weekends are also very flexible. If you book with me, I will communicate what times I’m available and can send you photos of your babies. I will take care of your 4 legged friend just like they are my own. Having a very smart and large shepherd myself I’m always on the lookout for things he can get into and make sure everything is picked up so he can’t get hurt or in trouble. Our vet office has consistently told me that I’m one of their most diligent pet parents. Your pets safety and your privacy is always my goal.
About: I have been on Rover for 2 1/2 years and have loved every minute! I started caring for animals in highschool, feeding them, playing with them and even changing diapers. As I got older I started hosting dogs in my own home. I have watched all kinds of dogs and try to accommodate whatever needs they have. I like to play with them and give them the love they need while their parents are away. I offer boarding, drop-ins, and doggy daycare services! I signed up for this because I love animals and I cannot get enough of their adorable personalities. Thank you for looking over my profile and I hope we will get to connect! :) I work from home so I am able to walk/ play with the dogs frequently and to attend to their needs. My personal dog goes out typically every 2 hours. My current dog is a doodle and requires brushing every other day. I go for frequent on-leash walks usually 2-3 times a day. We also have a fenced in yard that I can let the dogs play in throughout the day. In the evenings we play ball in our house which is very open. I am willing to walk, play, brush, and care for your pups in any way possible. :)

I have a large trusty van to carry animal friends of all sizes. I am committed to partnering with pets and pet owners on individual best care plans. I am flexible and solution oriented. My hearts intention is to create the best experience for all involved.

About: I've taken care of my personal pets for 50 years or more, a rabbit, a turtle a guinea pig and lots of dogs and cats. I just recently lost my little Toby due to congestive heart failure in March so I have decided to love and adore other people's fur babies. I'm currently retired and have lots of time on hand to devote to new animals. I live in a safe and friendly environment which allows animals to feel safe and secure. I have a fenced in backyard for them to roam and play freely or a home that's pet friendly. I have time to devote to all pets needs.
About: Caring for fur members of the family is a very important job! I have cared for my neighbors dogs and attended to their specific dietary needs, specific routines and giving them lots of love! I've dog sat for a week at most and also cared for my neighbors dogs after school while in high school. I am a proud fur mama of two dogs, one small and one large. Taking care of my fur family comes second nature to me, it is a joy to be able to care for the worlds greatest creatures! Animals do not have hands and can't speak like we can, so it important the water bowl is always full, they are fed when hungry and given the right amount of exercise. I will be able to accommodate you and your fur babies needs in any way possible!
About: Hi! I’m Paris — a substitute teacher, lifelong pet lover, and proud cat mom of two playful kittens, Lilith & Zephyr 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet I care for as if they’re my own. Whether it’s a dog who loves long walks, a cat who just wants cuddles, or a nervous pet who needs extra patience, I tailor care to each animal’s personality and comfort level. My clients describe me as attentive, communicative, and trustworthy — I provide photo updates, detailed messages, and genuinely enjoy spending time with every pet I meet. You’ll never have to wonder how your furry friend is doing while you’re away! 💼 My Schedule As a substitute teacher, I create my own schedule — which means I can adjust my availability for pet care. I typically work 4–8 hour school shifts with breaks that allow me to check in, walk, or drop in on pets during the day. Need round-the-clock or overnight care? I can absolutely provide that — I just ask for notice in advance, as 24-hour care may require adjusted pricing 💰 Rates & Expectations Rover’s listed prices reflect my base rates for standard care. Rates may adjust slightly depending on: • The number of pets • Travel distance • After-hours or weekend bookings • Medication or special-needs care • Holiday or extended-stay requests All rates are before Rover’s 20% platform fee. My goal is to ensure top-tier, stress-free care that’s priced fairly for both of us. 💬 Why Choose Me I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pets. My goal is to create peace of mind while making sure your pets are loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Each booking is personalized — whether that means an extra bedtime cuddle, a longer evening walk, or slow introductions for shy pets. ❤️ Let’s Connect If you’re looking for reliable, flexible, and genuine care, I’d love to chat! Send me a message with your pet’s routine, quirks, or favorite toys — I’m happy to customize care around their needs. I work as a substitute teacher and I make my own schedule. As long as I have at least 2-3 days before a booking I can switch things around to be with your pet. I typically work 4-8 hours and have small breaks where I can leave the school and check in with pets twice a day while I am working. If they need round the clock care, I can make that happen but as it interferes with my day job that would require further conversation as far as pricing. I play with animals, I’ll walk them, bathe them, give them medication if needed. I treat every pet I’m lucky enough to have placed in my care as my own. Anything you need or want for me to do for your four legged family member I would be more than happy to accommodate!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs ever since I was 11. I have two dogs myself who are spoiled rotten and I can’t wait to love on and care for your dog too while you’re away! I am able to set my own schedule and I primarily work from home. I can definitely move around my schedule to help meet you and your dogs needs. All I ask is that you reach out in advance:) I currently don’t offer bringing your dog to my home at this time. My senior dog is not welcoming to new dogs. However, my young dog is very social, so if you’re interested she can come and play with your dog as well.

About: I am a pre-vet student with hundreds of hours of pet care experience. I have worked with animals of all shapes and sizes. I would love to share my love with your fur babies. I am currently taking a gap year from schooling to get more animal experience so my availability is very open. I can care for pets any day of the week. I am great with handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am able to crate dogs if needed and am confident in my ability to keep your animals safe as it is my number one priority.

I've always enjoyed the different personalities of pets, and caring for them makes for a pawsitively happy day. I am currently a stay at home mother of four. Since they are getting older, I've flexibility in my schedule to share and care for pets. We believe in boundaries, rules and routines. If your pet is accustomed to a specific routine, then ensuring that's achieved, and your pets needs are met, is our goal. We use fencing, crates, and harnesses as appropriate.

Jules was very kind, pleasant, and caring with my dogs, and they seemed comfortable with her right away. I appreciated her friendly attitude and willingness to help. There were a few communication hiccups along the way, particularly around the app and payment process, but overall she was nice to work with and clearly good with animals.

Sarah was amazing!! I never had to worry about anything. She never was late always showed up on time, communicated with me every day. She would me pictures of Rocky and made little notes of the day Rocky absolutely adores her. And when the weather was way to cold to go for a walk , she would just stay with him. Let him out to pee a couple times play with him give him some love. Having Sarah taking care of Rocky while I was gone, gave me the peace of mind that I needed to know that he was well taken care of. Thanks, Sara you’re the best❤️
