“Audrey was phenomenal. She was willing to help me with my dog with very little notice. She is very kind, respectful and thoughtful. Moxie had fun hanging out with Audrey. I definitely plan on booking her again.”

“Danielle is great! We have used her three years in a row when we go out of town around the 4th of July. My cat does not really like her - or any strangers - but Danielle does a good job of taking care of her and making sure she’s OK.”

“Katie was amazing with my dogs! Usually my dogs take a few minutes before they warm up to people but as soon as Katie walked in the door they were so excited. We had her check in on them while we got married. She sent us pictures and left us a little note on our table telling us how good our dogs were and how sweet they were. I will definitely use Katie again!”

“I have two shy cats that were well looked after. They got food and water everyday. And, through communication, I was told the cats made a very brief appearance one day. Dawn did a great job.”

“Ashley was so great with our pups! The dogs got into something before she visited & she was so helpful getting their mess cleaned up. We are grateful for Ashley!”

As well as giving the dogs their medicine and giving them more time with their training commands. Making sure they still follow those. Pet care fits into my daily routine, because I am currently looking for a job and love working with animals so this would be a nice side or main job Since we aren’t allowed to have pets in our home, I am respectful of other others and their suggestions or rules /boundaries of their routines and homes

About: I have fenced in backyard with room to run around. I'm a very loving person towards animals, they have a certain way of always making you feel special. I grew up with a golden retriever and she was the sweetest. I've had fish as well and care about them like I would a dog or cat. I now have my own puppers. She is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who loves meeting new dogs! I have been dog sitting for many years for family and friends. I used to stay at the owner's houses but now since I have my own dog I ask that the dogs come to my house. I am home most of the day. I love playing outside, going for walks and cuddling up with the pups. I love to meet new dogs and love learning about their breed and their personalities, they're all so different! Leaving your pets with me will guarantee them a fun safe time! I currently work full-time at home so I'm able to be with the dogs if they come to my home. If dog walking is what you need, I have an hour long lunch each day and can come after 4pm as well. I have a large fenced-in yard and a young dog to keep your pup occupied. I have extra kennels at my house if needed, as well as a gate in my hallway if for any reason I would need it. I have many dog toys and treats to keep your dog happy as well. Daily walks are a must, weather permitted.
About: Hello! My name is Lucie and I absolutely love pups of all shapes and sizes. From a child, I’ve always had a dog that I’ve cared for of different breeds from Beagle to Elkhound and now a Shepherd/Golden mix. I frequently dog sit for my brother who has an Aussie/Bernie mix. My dog recently suffered a TPLO tear and we’ve had to make significant adjustments due to complications that happened. I learned to help support his 115 pound frame for potty breaks, give shots, and give medications. His surgical team has even joked that I could get a job there once he’s healed up from all that I’ve learned. I work fully remote unless traveling (for which my schedule is blocked). My days are somewhat flexible to meet your families needs. Weekends are also very flexible. If you book with me, I will communicate what times I’m available and can send you photos of your babies. I will take care of your 4 legged friend just like they are my own. Having a very smart and large shepherd myself I’m always on the lookout for things he can get into and make sure everything is picked up so he can’t get hurt or in trouble. Our vet office has consistently told me that I’m one of their most diligent pet parents. Your pets safety and your privacy is always my goal.

I am now retired and after losing my dog of over 16 years I want to open my home to dogs needing care. I love to walk so I make sure your pet gets plenty of outside time amd walks if they like to walk. Pets have free roam in my house and are allowed on the furniture , bed etc. I live in a quiet area close to parks and they will get walks in and plenty of outside time. I have a fenced yard also.
About: Dependable and very responsible. Mature, considerate and polite. I have a 20-year-old male cat that I rescued at 6 months old. I understand how important his health is and ensure that his needs are met on a daily basis. I have a pretty flexible schedule and available as well on weekends and holidays. I dog sit for two families, each own labs. I cat sit for my neighbors when they travel out of town for work and family events. I follow the owner's detailed instructions regarding feeding time, medications, etc. None of my dogs have had an accident in the house while the owner is away because I follow the owner's time schedule as if they were home.
About: Dogs are the best. I had a Boston growing up and he was the best. Having a dog taught me a lot. Let that’s experience be beneficial to you! I am currently unemployed so I am available most days. I can drop in mornings, evenings, and nights. I love going on walks so let me take your dog along with me. I treat animals with care and respect. I treat them like they are my own animals. I respect boundaries and want to make the animal feel comfortable
About: Certified in Pet First Aid/CPR and training, I bring 6 years of experience working with diverse dog breeds, ages, and temperaments, ranging from shy to reactive/aggressive. With a lifelong passion for dogs, I excel in building bonds and fostering confidence. I also have some experience in cat sitting. I work full-time now, but I truly miss dog training and spending time working with dogs. On my days off, I’d love to dedicate my time to helping you and caring for your pets when you need it most. Providing reliable, attentive, and loving care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every pet like my own. For dog sitting, I prioritize maintaining your dog's routine in their familiar environment. I prefer meeting you and your dog beforehand to understand your expectations and their daily schedule. I enjoy enriching their lives with walks and engaging activities, including training games, tricks, and enrichment puzzles. Your dog's well-being and happiness are my top priorities, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved while you're away.
“Mikayla took very good care of our Charlie girl cat. We're super pleased with the many photos she sent. Also we arranged through a phone call that Charlie could hear my voice and nuzzled her phone.”

What A Superstar!!!! Audrey was everything I have been searching for in a sitter. Dependable, Clearly cared about the well being of my cats, and showed every day that she wanted to do a good job in all aspects of sitting for my lovely girls. I loved that when she wasn't sure about something, she asked, stopped over for a pre-sit visit to meet my girls and get the layout. And don't even get me started on the photos!!! I have some of the cutest pictures now because of her! I am ridiculously grateful to her for everything she has done, especially after the terrible sitters I have had in the past. She has a new family for as long as she's willing! Can't imagine going to anyone else. THANK YOU AUDREY!!!

Mary took fantastic care of our cats. She’s so patient with our shy Gus, who has finally decided that Mary is a-ok. Gino, of course, is her biggest fan. We have zero concerns leaving them both in Mary’s care - she provides great updates and pictures and both boys are well loved while we are gone. We can’t ask for more! Mary also went above and beyond taking in very large packages that came while we were away - it is much appreciated. We already have Mary booked for our next trip!

So happy Jillian was available to do stop ins for our 3 cats. She showed them so much love and care, took care of everything we asked and made sure to send us daily notes and photos. Really appreciate the care which went above and beyond and will absolutely book again down the road.

Danielle is the best ever! My shy and “picky eater” senior cat absolutely loved Danielle at the 1st visit. She is truly the “animal whisperer.” I was able to vacation stress free knowing my fur baby was being loved and cared for. I will surely have Danielle again to look after my senior baby again. She was quick to respond to any and all of my concerns. Thank you Danielle. You’re the best !!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
