About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.
About: I love taking care of all types of dogs! PT student who is very flexible! Let me know if there is anything specific you would like! I enjoy coming home from work and being able to walk and care for dogs! I’m very active so it fits my routine/lifestyle well! Let me know how I can help them best! I make sure to keep pets in their comfort zone and listen closely to the owner’s wishes. It’s an awesome part of my routine and I love every dog I come across!
“This is the second time Jessica has helped us out with our cat crew. She is fantastic and always allows my fiancée and I to feel at ease while we are away on a trip. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area that needs similar help!”

“This was my first time using a pet sitter and I will definitely be calling Cheryl the next time I need someone to watch my cats. We hit it off and, maybe more importantly, one of my cats took to her right away, the other was less trusting but her behavior improved by the end of Cheryl’s visits.”

“Heather was great with my cats while we were away for 3 days. They get nervous with new people but she was very gentle and had them come out and check her out when she came over. I felt confident leaving them in her care and she did a great job taking care of them. I would recommend her for your pet care! She was friendly and thorough and sent lots of pictures.”

“Jillian was fantastic! We have some rescue fur babies & wanted them to stay home while we were away. She came over twice a day and fed all of our babies & played with them. She only seen the cats a couple of times, but she made sure the litter boxes were clean & they had their food. She even brought in our mail! Will definitely ask for Jillian again when we go out of town!”

“Hannah took great care of our kitties and bearded dragon! She was on time, and made sure she laid eyes on everyone. She sent pics and was very good at communicating with me from first contact. Highly recommend and will certainly re-book. Thanks for the peace of mind while we were gone, Hannah!”

“Mary was on time, and took the best care of my babies! I felt very comfortably knowing they were being well taken care of! Will recommend her and use her in the future. She followed all of my many instructions/ and was loving towards my sweet fur babies.”

About: Hi, I’m Megan — a lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet care provider based in beautiful East English Village. I live with my two friendly, well-socialized dogs who enjoy the company of other calm, respectful pups. I provide a personalized, low-volume boarding experience from my home, where your dog becomes part of our little pack. My services are designed with your pet’s comfort and safety in mind. I only board one guest dog at a time, ensuring constant supervision, individual attention, and a peaceful, low-stress environment. Whether you’re looking for drop-in visits, a walk while you’re at work, or overnight care, I treat every animal like one of my own — with affection, patience, and professional care. I provide updates with every visit, and I’m happy to accommodate custom routines, feeding schedules, and medication administration when needed. Let’s schedule a free meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a great match! Caring for animals is a natural part of my daily life — I structure my routine around it. With two dogs of my own, I’m already up early for walks, feeding, and snuggles. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide frequent potty breaks, plenty of supervision, and lots of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Because I intentionally limit my boarding and walking services to just a few clients at a time, I’m able to give each pet my full focus without being overbooked or rushed. Whether I’m doing a drop-in visit, hosting a pup overnight, or stopping by for a midday walk, I plan my calendar so your pet gets reliable, unrushed, high-quality care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities — whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting them in yours. BOARDING AT MY HOME: When boarding in my home, I provide a calm, structured, and low-stress environment by only accepting one guest dog at a time. This allows me to give each pet plenty of individual attention and supervision throughout the day. I have two friendly, well-socialized resident dogs who are used to having guests and do best with other well-mannered pups. I take time to carefully introduce everyone, and I require a meet-and-greet prior to first-time bookings to ensure everyone is a good fit. My home is pet-safe, clean, and set up with cozy resting areas, a large and securely fenced outdoor space, and plenty of enrichment opportunities like walks, playtime, and snuggles. I also follow the pet’s routine as closely as possible to make their stay feel familiar and reassuring. FOR DROP INS I aim to maintain your pet’s routine in their own environment, minimizing disruption and providing consistent care. I refresh water, follow feeding and medication instructions closely, and always leave your home secure and tidy. I also provide visit updates with photos so you can feel connected and at ease while you’re away. Building trust through consistent, compassionate care is what I do best. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting them, they’ll be treated like family.

About: I am a dog lover who currently owns 3 dogs, a terrier mix, a standard poodle, and a Doberman. My husband and I love animals and have grown up around different types of pets, which is why dog sitting is a perfect fit for me. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my entire life. I acquired my love for animals from my father. Since before I was born, he has always owned a dog. The first dog I remember having was a Husky named Brandon. We named him Brandon because of the dog on "Punky Brewster" and I must have been only around 4 years old! My experience administering medication I have experience administering medication to my own pets and others pets as well. I’m a stay at home mom, which means I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pup(s). We love playing outdoors and our dogs are like family to us! I have a dog run (working on fencing our large yard) and three dogs of my own. We have room to crate train if needed, and keep kids and dogs separate should your pup not be kid friendly.
“My kitties appreciate Chetoya’s visits. They’re super shy but will come peek out and eat when they see her❤️❤️ She is responsible and always responds quickly. Thank you!”

“Genevieve was responsive, easy to work with and provided great updates when she watched our cat. She was very attentive, and I had the peace of mind knowing my cat was well cared for when we were away. I would definitely recommend Genevieve and look forward to booking her again in the future!”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Ben was timely, communicative and respectful. My 2 dogs can be a little raucous with short visits and he seemed to handle it with ease. Great price too! I will use him any and every time I can. A+”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care and attention I give to both pets and their routines. I don’t just watch your animals—I learn their habits, personalities, and preferences to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience administering oral and topical medications, working with senior pets, and I’m especially thorough when it comes to cleanliness (yes, I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes!). My goal is to give you complete peace of mind knowing your pets are not just looked after, but genuinely cared for like family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care to ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. Whether it’s early morning feedings, midday walks, or evening playtime, I genuinely enjoy building my day around their needs. I also set aside time for updates to owners, cleaning, and any special care instructions like administering meds or sticking to feeding routines. Caring for animals isn’t just a side task—it’s something I truly prioritize and enjoy. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is creating a safe, calm, and loving environment that mirrors their normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of supervision, playtime, and quiet areas for rest. I follow all feeding, exercise, and medication schedules just as you would. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I keep things tidy, stick to your pet’s daily habits, and make sure they’re not just fed and walked—but also mentally stimulated and comforted in your absence. I always keep communication open with regular updates and photos so you feel confident and connected while you’re away.
“Peyton provided drop in visits for my elderly Shar Pei for a 10 day vacation. She is priceless. Lots of communication, photos & videos. Yoda loved her. I am sure many times she spent more than the allotted time living on him. She understood & provided for the needs of a senior dog. I definitely recommend Peyton & will call on her again.”

Joshua was excellent with the kitties and took great care of my home! He left wonderful updates and pictures every visit, and made sure the shy ones were accounted for and safe. I could tell he really cares about the cats and I’m so appreciative for his care!

Heather was able to respond to a last-minute request and took fantastic care of our two cats! She was reliable and provided detailed updates and photos and even brought her own toys to keep them entertained while we were gone! We will definitely ask Heather to return again
Mary took fantastic care of our cats. She’s so patient with our shy Gus, who has finally decided that Mary is a-ok. Gino, of course, is her biggest fan. We have zero concerns leaving them both in Mary’s care - she provides great updates and pictures and both boys are well loved while we are gone. We can’t ask for more! Mary also went above and beyond taking in very large packages that came while we were away - it is much appreciated. We already have Mary booked for our next trip!

So happy Jillian was available to do stop ins for our 3 cats. She showed them so much love and care, took care of everything we asked and made sure to send us daily notes and photos. Really appreciate the care which went above and beyond and will absolutely book again down the road.

Jenna provided exceptional service taking care of my cats while I was out of town. I really appreciated the pictures from each of her visits and was impressed with the overall cleanliness - one of my cats is a messy eater! - when I returned. I am so grateful to have met Jenna and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
