About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.

My home is pet-safe, clean, and set up with cozy resting areas, a large and securely fenced outdoor space, and plenty of enrichment opportunities like walks, playtime, and snuggles. I also follow the pet’s routine as closely as possible to make their stay feel familiar and reassuring. FOR DROP INS I aim to maintain your pet’s routine in their own environment, minimizing disruption and providing consistent care. I refresh water, follow feeding and medication instructions closely, and always leave your home secure and tidy. About: I am a dog lover who currently owns 3 dogs, a terrier mix, a standard poodle, and a Doberman. I acquired my love for animals from my father. Since before I was born, he has always owned a dog. The first dog I remember having was a Husky named Brandon. We named him Brandon because of the dog on "Punky Brewster" and I must have been only around 4 years old! I’m a stay at home mom, which means I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pup(s). We love playing outdoors and our dogs are like family to us! I have a dog run (working on fencing our large yard) and three dogs of my own. We have room to crate train if needed, and keep kids and dogs separate should your pup not be kid friendly.

My son had been watching them for the past two years, so I hadn't needed anyone else. About: Hi, my name is Carissa! I am experienced in caring for many animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and even farm animals. I owned an operated an open-play dog boarding and daycare facility in Southern California for five years (from 2014 through 2019) serving over 300 furry clients- all different sizes and personalities. Since moving back to my home-state of Michigan I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years in a general practice clinic, and am able to confidently provide first aid, as well as administer oral, topical, and injectable medications to pets in my care. Additionally, I am comfortable with caring for senior and special needs pets. I love all animals like family and would love the opportunity to care for your furbaby while you are away! I am available all day Fridays-Mondays. Perfect for long weekend trips! I do work to Tuesdays-Thursdays, 8am-5pm, but I am available in the evening on Thursdays for drop-off if needed (for an early Friday morning departure, etc.). I am available for drop-in visits Friday-Monday as well, and can also schedule drop-in visits between 6-8 pm Tuesday-Thursdays. Your pet would have tons of love in our home, with access to all living spaces and our large fenced-in yard. We currently have 1 indoor/outdoor kitty, but our chocolate lab recently passed away, so no pups in the home at this time.
