About: I got my first pets at 21, two mice named Luna and Lena. Since then I've had many more pets including more mice, rats, dogs, and a cat. I have had my dogs for about 7 years. My baby girl Remy, is a wild ball of energy, even at 9. My darling boy Leonard, is a very slow gentle giant who moves like a sloth, so I have experience with dogs across the energy spectrum! My fluffy baby Bean is my first cat. I have learned a lot from him over the last 4 years that Ive had him. He is a cuddly kitty who shows love through playful violence. I say this to explain that I am so used to being torn up a bit by my pets. I understand that pets do not know their strength or sharpness and I will give them the grace needed! My pets are the center of my life. I wake up and immediately refill food and waters and let my dogs outside. While they do their business, I cuddle Bean, my cat. Sadly, after I let my dogs in I have to head out to work. When I get home from work, I always run to get kisses from my dogs. Then I do the same as the morning, check food and water and let them outside. Because my cat and one of my dogs dont get along, I often have to split my time between them but I make sure everyone gets all their cuddles and love. I also dedicate at least 10 minutes twice a day, playing with each of them. I am unable to host others pets at my house as we are full up, but I always treat others homes and pets with the utmost respect. I try my best not to touch anthing that isn't needed and leave the home looking the same or better than when I got there.

“Ashley, who goes by “Red,” is an absolutely wonderful human being, and if she is available, book her! Back in May, as a first-time user of Rover, I created 3 separate bookings with a sitter who had glowing reviews. However, on the day of our meet & greet—only 1 week before our first trip—she completely ghosted us. I nearly panicked because I didn’t think we’d be able to find an available sitter on such short notice. I hopped back on Rover, entered my dates, filtered by Star Sitters, and hit “search.” Red was at the top of my search results, and after looking over her profile, I felt like she may be a good choice. Although her calendar showed her as available for the dates of our trip, I was prepared to be let down. I sent her a message explaining our situation. We booked Red for two of our three camping trips. This review is based on our second booking with her, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her! She is the sweetest person! I had no qualms leaving Sassy alone this second time because I knew that Red would take excellent care of her…and she absolutely has! About: Hello! My name is Lucie and I absolutely love pups of all shapes and sizes. From a child, I’ve always had a dog that I’ve cared for of different breeds from Beagle to Elkhound and now a Shepherd/Golden mix. I frequently dog sit for my brother who has an Aussie/Bernie mix. My dog recently suffered a TPLO tear and we’ve had to make significant adjustments due to complications that happened. I learned to help support his 115 pound frame for potty breaks, give shots, and give medications.
