About: Throughout my life Since I was 8, I’ve cared and loved for 5 cats, 4 dogs, and 5 lizards. I’ve dealt with 14+ year old cats/dogs, have made bonds with very shy animals, and I’ve house sat before. My partner is a VCA clinic member and can inform me on important information if I notice a health concern with your pet. As a part time student and full time athlete, my mornings, evenings, and nights are happily spent with my cats. Please allow me the opportunity to give that same treatment to your pets. For dog walks, I will physically be able to restrain your dog of any size without hurting them if they try chasing something or get too excited. If you have a super active dog, I can provide high energy play times. I also provide play toys and disposable potty bags on my visits if the homeowner would like.

About: Hello! My name is Lucie and I absolutely love pups of all shapes and sizes. From a child, I’ve always had a dog that I’ve cared for of different breeds from Beagle to Elkhound and now a Shepherd/Golden mix. I frequently dog sit for my brother who has an Aussie/Bernie mix. My dog recently suffered a TPLO tear and we’ve had to make significant adjustments due to complications that happened. I learned to help support his 115 pound frame for potty breaks, give shots, and give medications. His surgical team has even joked that I could get a job there once he’s healed up from all that I’ve learned. I work fully remote unless traveling (for which my schedule is blocked). My days are somewhat flexible to meet your families needs. Weekends are also very flexible. If you book with me, I will communicate what times I’m available and can send you photos of your babies. I will take care of your 4 legged friend just like they are my own. Having a very smart and large shepherd myself I’m always on the lookout for things he can get into and make sure everything is picked up so he can’t get hurt or in trouble. Our vet office has consistently told me that I’m one of their most diligent pet parents. Your pets safety and your privacy is always my goal.

Comfort & Care: Every dog in our care receives wonderful, personalized attention. We provide extra beds, bowls, feeding mats, blankets, and treats to make them feel right at home. Our large, fully fenced yard provides plenty of space for running, playing, and exploring safely. Pups also have full access to roam our home as they would their own, and we can provide separate feeding and sleeping areas to ensure each dog has their own safe, comfortable space. In addition to playtime and exercise, we love providing mental stimulation with toys, training reinforcement, and interactive activities to keep tails wagging. Requirements & Policies: Proof of Vaccinations: All pets must be up to date and vaccinated by a licensed vet before moving forward with the booking process. Required vaccinations include: *Rabies *DHPP/DHLPP combo (includes Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Leptospirosis, and Parainfluenza) *Bordetella (Kennel Cough) *During summer months, pets must also be on a flea/tick preventative. Boarding Capacity: I am a low-capacity boarder, caring for no more than 4–5 dogs at a time. This ensures each pup receives individualized attention while maintaining a calm, stress-free environment. For the safety and happiness of all guests, it’s important that your dog is friendly and comfortable around other dogs. Meet & Greet: A meet and greet is required for all bookings. This allows me to get to know your pup, observe how they interact with my dog, and ensure I’m the right fit for their needs. All meet and greets take place at my home at no extra cost. Once your time is confirmed, I’ll provide the address on the day of the meeting. Behavioral Restrictions: I am unable to accommodate dogs with the following: *Excessive marking, barking, or whining *Severe separation anxiety *Females in heat *Escape artists *Destructive or aggressive behaviors (including resource guarding) *Dogs who are not house-trained *Dogs with aggression toward people, children, or other animals *Dogs with contagious illnesses, fleas, or parasites *Dogs who are extremely reactive to other dogs or strangers *Dogs who require extensive medical care or frequent medication administration beyond standard oral or topical treatments *Dogs with biting history or unpredictable behavior Please note: My puppy rate will be applied to any adult dog that exhibits any of the behaviors listed above if they were not disclosed prior to the start of boarding. Property Damage: Compensation will be requested from the pet owner for any destruction of the sitter’s property caused by the dog. Food & Supplies: Please bring enough food to last the entirety of your dog’s stay, considering possible flight delays, cancellations, or emergencies. Please provide detailed food instructions in case I need to purchase more. Pet parents are responsible for any additional food costs if needed. Booking Notice: I am unable to accept last-minute or same-day bookings, as all dogs require a meet and greet prior to their stay to ensure they are comfortable and a good fit. Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs: Pick-ups and drop-offs are typically between 7 AM and 10 PM. Any pickups after 10 PM will be scheduled for the following day. If you need a different time, just let me know—I’m happy to accommodate on a case-by-case basis whenever possible. Family Support: My husband also assists with the care of all dogs in our home. He treats every pup with the same compassion, love, and plenty of cuddles that I provide. He is usually present for meet and greets, so you’ll have the opportunity to meet him and see the care your dog will receive firsthand. Communication: I love keeping pet parents updated! I can provide photos, videos, and messages during your dog’s stay so you can see how much fun they’re having. I am excited to meet you and your pup! Some days I am fully at home, while others I am out in the field, but I am rarely away for more than 4–5 hours at a time. About: I have fenced in backyard with room to run around. I'm a very loving person towards animals, they have a certain way of always making you feel special. I grew up with a golden retriever and she was the sweetest. I've had fish as well and care about them like I would a dog or cat. I now have my own puppers. She is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who loves meeting new dogs! I have been dog sitting for many years for family and friends. I used to stay at the owner's houses but now since I have my own dog I ask that the dogs come to my house. I am home most of the day. I love playing outside, going for walks and cuddling up with the pups. I love to meet new dogs and love learning about their breed and their personalities, they're all so different! Leaving your pets with me will guarantee them a fun safe time! I currently work full-time at home so I'm able to be with the dogs if they come to my home. If dog walking is what you need, I have an hour long lunch each day and can come after 4pm as well. I have a large fenced-in yard and a young dog to keep your pup occupied. I have extra kennels at my house if needed, as well as a gate in my hallway if for any reason I would need it. I have many dog toys and treats to keep your dog happy as well. Daily walks are a must, weather permitted.

About: My husband and I work as a team. He is known around the neighborhood for walking our dog, our neighbor's dog and our grandpuppies when they are over. Between the two of us, there is a human home 80 - 90 per cent of the time. Although we don't have children living with us, we have a 4 year old granddaughter, who loves to play with dogs, come over twice a week. Our house will never make the cover of "Good Housekeeping" but it is safe and "pet friendly." All of the dogs we have ever owned were rescue dogs, including our Boxer Popeye. We've both had dogs all of our lives. We'll treat your dog with all the love and care we give our own. Pet care IS our daily routine. We're both retired so someone is home with the pups almost every minute. Roger walks each pet daily as weather permits. We have a fenced yard and pups get to go out and come in as often as they like. They sleep indoors wherever they want. They are allowed on furniture and our bed.

I have volunteered at various animal shelters including I Heart Dogs in Macomb County.
