About: Since I was in my teens I have lived a life with pets - both dogs and cats, and it has been such a rewarding journey so far! I have had two rescue dogs, a collie mix and a beagle, and they had my whole heart. I currently have a multi-cat household, and do TNR in my neighborhood where I can to help the outdoor stray cats. I have also rehomed multiple cats with the help of local rescue groups to ensure a long happy kitty life. Currently, I spend a great deal of time with my best buddy Rocco, an 8 year old black lab. I have experience with small dogs, medium sized dogs and large dogs and honestly enjoy them all the same! I also have experience with cats of all ages, from bottle feeding kittens to 18 year old seniors, and am comfortable giving any medications to dogs or cats as well. I know my way around all kinds of personalities and ages, whether it be those that want to play or those that need a slow, gentle walk and some extra attention. I have also been working with the same vet for 20+ years that can attest to my care and love for animals. I will treat every pet like my own - patient, attentive, and genuinely happy to spend time with them. Being around animals - that's my happy place. My hours at work have changed which allows me to be available Monday-Thursday 11am-3pm. I'm available for walks, drops ins for potty breaks while you're at work, or to check on your kitties if you'll be gone longer than you'd like to be. Lots of time for playing with your furry family members! I would be happy to come to your home and treat it and your pets with respect and care. My personal cats are all fixed and up to date on shots, however I took in a stray girl last winter who is very scared of everything. I think it's best to let her rule the house and come to visit yours at your homes where they are most comfortable.

About: I grew up with three cats and help train dogs through the Leadershape! Now I typically share my dog sitting assistance with my friends (for free even!) although I don’t have pets in my own all animals will find a warm welcoming home here I’m currently working full-time, but I work in the evenings and come home on my breaks so plenty of time to check in on our furry friend during the work week I live in an apartment that has a fenced in yard for dogs and a neighborhood park nearby. I’ve sat for large dogs while living here and their needs have been accommodated!

It’s important for me to incorporate movement and fun into my daily life and there’s no better way than to spend time with animals by taking walks and playing. I like to have a clear understanding of an animal’s routine. Sticking to predictable routines are good for their nervous systems. For walking services, I like to go on calm, enriching walks. I’m down for detours and all the sniffing and sometimes I like to finish a walk with a short race back to the house. I ensure that they are hydrating and have everything they need before leaving and locking up. For house stays, I like to spend as much time with animals as they like. Most of my experience is with overnight stays. I am very clean and organized and make sure to do a nice reset for your return home.

About: I've owned/fostered/rescued animals my whole life, and I'm an avid animal lover. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals. I've administered oral medication and eye drops, changed doggy diapers, and bottle fed babies. I also have experience working with aggressive and territorial animals, I maintain a gentle and patient energy and work hard to create a secure relationship with each pet. I don't mind cleaning, I love super active animals, and I'm confident and reliable in caretaking. I work independently as an artist and curator, so I make my own schedule, so I always have plenty of time for your fur baby. I am unable to watch pets at my own place, as I am constantly fostering and have my own cats. I've been a trusted house/pet/baby sitter for 10 years, and will take great care of your space.

About: I’ve always had a special fondness for animals ; my first word as a baby was “Maggie” , which is the name of our golden retriever who would live to be 17 years old. Guided by buddhist philosophy, my love for fuzzy mammals has expanded outward to include all living things & has to approach even the most difficult situations gently & with empathy. In the years preceding my “Eureka!” Moment of wanting to become a trainer, i worked as a walker & sitter for 3 years in NYC at a place called brooklyn bow wow and later worked for a trainer named Daniel Nogueira for another 2 years. Periodically we would have workshops with Mark Bennett (CPDT-KA) which informed my ability to improve leash behaviors & develop a behavioral modification strategy of positive reinforcement (most domesticated dogs do not respond well to negative feedback ; they don’t understand why they are being yelled at! 🥹) Eventually I had to eschew the dream job to take on a better-paying gig to pay my astronomical rent, which sucked, so my instincts all led me back to the midwest to continue pursuing my goal of becoming a certified trainer. I have all of the availabilty currently! I do freelance work & make my own schedule, so i’m plenty flexible & available to spend quality time with furry friends. I very much enjoy using the excuse to get outside & get some exercise. I have a big wide open loft space for moderate zooming & places for beds & toys. I can divide the place into 4 different rooms in case they get too worked up and need some separate time away from eachother

About: Iv grown up closely with animals and always had them around ever since I was little. My family and friends have always been able to rely on me to take care of their animal’s I’m currently taking two classes at Wayne State and my classes are online so I will have a lot of time to play and take them for walks. I will be able to take them on long or short walks around the neighborhood, feed and take them out if need or change pee pad
