BOARDING AT MY HOME: When boarding in my home, I provide a calm, structured, and low-stress environment by only accepting one guest dog at a time. I have two friendly, well-socialized resident dogs who are used to having guests and do best with other well-mannered pups. I take time to carefully introduce everyone, and I require a meet-and-greet prior to first-time bookings to ensure everyone is a good fit. My home is pet-safe, clean, and set up with cozy resting areas, a large and securely fenced outdoor space, and plenty of enrichment opportunities like walks, playtime, and snuggles. I also follow the pet’s routine as closely as possible to make their stay feel familiar and reassuring. FOR DROP INS I aim to maintain your pet’s routine in their own environment, minimizing disruption and providing consistent care. I refresh water, follow feeding and medication instructions closely, and always leave your home secure and tidy. I also provide visit updates with photos so you can feel connected and at ease while you’re away. Building trust through consistent, compassionate care is what I do best. About: I’m an ER nurse and paramedic looking to spend time playing, walking and caring for pets. Or house sitting. I typically am free 3-4 days a week as I work 3-12 hour shifts a week at the hospital. Naturally, I’m very compassionate and care very deeply about living beings. I also have had cats and dogs of my own. I’m 58, dependable, have my own car and am active. I work 3 days a week in the ER. Which leave 4 days a week to pet sit and walk dogs! I have a Honda Fit that I am not fussy about, a dog is welcome to take a ride to Belle Isle or to the dog park! Requirements & Policies: Proof of Vaccinations: All pets must be up to date and vaccinated by a licensed vet before moving forward with the booking process. Required vaccinations include: *Rabies *DHPP/DHLPP combo (includes Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Leptospirosis, and Parainfluenza) *Bordetella (Kennel Cough) *During summer months, pets must also be on a flea/tick preventative. Boarding Capacity: I am a low-capacity boarder, caring for no more than 4–5 dogs at a time. This ensures each pup receives individualized attention while maintaining a calm, stress-free environment. For the safety and happiness of all guests, it’s important that your dog is friendly and comfortable around other dogs. Meet & Greet: A meet and greet is required for all bookings. This allows me to get to know your pup, observe how they interact with my dog, and ensure I’m the right fit for their needs. All meet and greets take place at my home at no extra cost. Once your time is confirmed, I’ll provide the address on the day of the meeting. Behavioral Restrictions: I am unable to accommodate dogs with the following: *Excessive marking, barking, or whining *Severe separation anxiety *Females in heat *Escape artists *Destructive or aggressive behaviors (including resource guarding) *Dogs who are not house-trained *Dogs with aggression toward people, children, or other animals *Dogs with contagious illnesses, fleas, or parasites *Dogs who are extremely reactive to other dogs or strangers *Dogs who require extensive medical care or frequent medication administration beyond standard oral or topical treatments *Dogs with biting history or unpredictable behavior Please note: My puppy rate will be applied to any adult dog that exhibits any of the behaviors listed above if they were not disclosed prior to the start of boarding. Property Damage: Compensation will be requested from the pet owner for any destruction of the sitter’s property caused by the dog. Food & Supplies: Please bring enough food to last the entirety of your dog’s stay, considering possible flight delays, cancellations, or emergencies. Please provide detailed food instructions in case I need to purchase more. Pet parents are responsible for any additional food costs if needed. Booking Notice: I am unable to accept last-minute or same-day bookings, as all dogs require a meet and greet prior to their stay to ensure they are comfortable and a good fit. Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs: Pick-ups and drop-offs are typically between 7 AM and 10 PM. Any pickups after 10 PM will be scheduled for the following day. If you need a different time, just let me know—I’m happy to accommodate on a case-by-case basis whenever possible. Family Support: My husband also assists with the care of all dogs in our home. He treats every pup with the same compassion, love, and plenty of cuddles that I provide. He is usually present for meet and greets, so you’ll have the opportunity to meet him and see the care your dog will receive firsthand. Communication: I love keeping pet parents updated! I can provide photos, videos, and messages during your dog’s stay so you can see how much fun they’re having. I am excited to meet you and your pup! Please note: I am not able to accommodate pets that require constant, intensive care or supervision, as I want to ensure I can provide safe, high-quality attention to every dog in my care. I provide loving, personalized care for every dog in my home. They enjoy cuddles, walks, playtime in our large fenced yard, and full access to explore safely. I work during the week Mon-Thurs 8am-4pm and work remote on Fridays and am free majority of weekends. I will be going remote fully in July. I can watch your dog while you are away. About: I used to work for a dog grooming service for two years! Worked with multiple sized dogs and different breeds. I have one dog my self! I am good with all breeds and personalities. I have a reactive dog, so I am good with dogs who are reactive, and need special attention. Very loving and patient when it comes to animals. I enjoy the outdoors and nature, so dog walking for me in right up my alley, in any weather! I’m very flexible with pets needs, scheduling, and always down to play! I stay in Grosse Pointe Woods area and often have a lot of free time on my hands to care for your pup! As said I have a lot of experience with dogs and could provide references if needed! About: I have always had a family dog and have been a huge dog lover my whole life. My best friend has a dog that I take care of all the time, I take care of my parents dog when they go out of town, and my sister in law just got a new golden retriever puppy that my fiance and I love and puppysit for them as well! We want one of our own eventually! I run usually every day and will run with dogs, I will take them on fun walks to explore, I can teach them tricks, and I will give them all the love they need to not feel lonely when you are gone. We have a fenced in yard in the back for them to run around, and I work full time remotely from home so my job has a very flexible schedule for me to attend to your dog's needs throughout the day! I work full-time remotely at home, on Pacific time hours, so I have a very flexible work schedule and am home during the day to attend to all the dog's needs! I am very respectful of the way you want your pet to be treated and trained. I understand that commands are very important but will also give your pet the love and care it needs during the day!

I love giving dogs the attention they want--whether that be long walks, playing with toys, or just cuddling on the couch. My goal is to make your dog as comfortable as possible while you're away! I work full-time, but often work from home a few days of the week. My boyfriend is in law school and will be studying for the bar exam this summer. Between both of us, we are able to provide a mostly flexible schedule so that we can give your dog the optimal amount of time and care. We live in a townhouse with an un-fenced yard, but are able to provide as many potty breaks as needed. The neighborhood is perfect for giving as many walks as needed. If house-sitting, we are available to stay over with your dog and provide as much of their normal routine as possible.
