“Keira did a great job taking care of my rescues, a 13-year-old boxer mix and a 2-year-old mastiff mix, on very short notice and provided up to four drop-in visits to let them out, walk them, and feed them. She provided plenty of communication and came over the day before my early-morning departure flight to meet with me, the dogs, and get to know them, my house, and the neighborhood, which was great. My son had been watching them for the past two years, so I hadn't needed anyone else. But he's going away to college, and I needed to find someone reliable and local, and I'll definitely use Kiera going forward! I'm so grateful I found her on Rover and look forward to having her help again.”

About: I have over 25 years of experience caring for, loving and training various dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. My wife and I have 3 rescue dogs and 5 rescue cats, plus we regularly foster puppies and kittens. I know how important it is to ensure your babies are in good hands and safe while you’re away! I’ve worked with dogs and cats of many different ages, breeds, and temperaments over the years and have experience with potty, obedience and leash training, as well as caring for senior animals or administering medication etc. I love every pet as if they were my own!! I work fully remote so am entirely flexible throughout my day, including nights and weekends. I am able to accommodate the needs of the pet whether it involves a quick stop or an extended stay. I will always make sure your pet is secured in a fenced yard or on a leash. I don’t even like to leave pets unattended in the yard without keeping an eye on them. In the house it is important that boundaries are adhered to if there are certain areas off limits, and crate trained dogs are secured in their crate when left at home.

About: I have watched a variety of dogs for family, friends, and friends of friends for over 19 years. Before that I have had dogs since I was born and helped in their care at a young age. I love dogs and cannot pass one up on my walk without saying hi or giving them a little love! I work a full time job Monday through Friday, however, I am home every evening and have plenty of time to take care your loving pets. I love taking walks, I can take a short walk for your older pup or a long walk through the neighborhood for those who like to burn off their energy. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of room to play. I have watched many dogs that have needed medication and am very careful and cautious on making sure they get their meds on time or as needed. “First time using Abbey. This was a last minute booking due to work schedule changing abruptly. She worked with my schedule to do a previsit, very professional, understands large/gaint breed dogs behavior! Both of my dogs had no issues with her and immediately liked her. No issues during the visit or after. The dogs got a mid day potty break despite it pouring rain, which she cleaned up after the dogs cause 100 pound wet mastiffs usually leave a mess. About: I have fenced in backyard with room to run around. I'm a very loving person towards animals, they have a certain way of always making you feel special. I grew up with a golden retriever and she was the sweetest. I've had fish as well and care about them like I would a dog or cat. I now have my own puppers. She is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who loves meeting new dogs! I have been dog sitting for many years for family and friends. I used to stay at the owner's houses but now since I have my own dog I ask that the dogs come to my house. I am home most of the day. I love playing outside, going for walks and cuddling up with the pups. I love to meet new dogs and love learning about their breed and their personalities, they're all so different! Leaving your pets with me will guarantee them a fun safe time! I currently work full-time at home so I'm able to be with the dogs if they come to my home. If dog walking is what you need, I have an hour long lunch each day and can come after 4pm as well. I have a large fenced-in yard and a young dog to keep your pup occupied. I have extra kennels at my house if needed, as well as a gate in my hallway if for any reason I would need it. I have many dog toys and treats to keep your dog happy as well. Daily walks are a must, weather permitted.

About: I have been taking care of animals since the minute I discovered them at a young age. I have cat/dog sat for neighbors, friends, family and strangers. I had my family dog from a puppy until she was the age of 18 so I have a lot of senior dog experience. I also dog sat for a family for 8 years consecutively (also nannied their children). I took care of their senior diabetic dog and then later their new black lab puppy...I still watch him when they go on long trips. I have also dog sat for overnight/weeks/weekends for two separate families over the past few years. Puppies to adult dogs- dog walks, feeding, park trips etc. I have also lived with/taken care of roommates two kitty's before I moved out on my own. I now have my own cats Wren and Winnie who are the loves of my life. I currently have a very open schedule, so whenever you need me we can make it work. I just ask you work with me and I’ll work with you! I am open to coming to your place whenever needed, I do have a fenced in yard and live in a lovely neighborhood. About: I'm vibrant, happy, loving playful woman. I was a dog owner for 15 years to Giorgio. My favorite Maltese. He was my best buddy a woman could ask for. Our favorite time together was bath time. Well for me not him. He didn't enjoy it too much. When it was done I groomed him and blow-dried him and sometimes gave him a trim. He was a patient little boy but his favorite time was when it was all done I'd put him down and he'd rub his butt on the floor and run around the room. He'd get a treat right after. We would take a nice nap after. Miss my little guy so much. He was the best dog. Blessed to have had him. I dog sit in homes for small dogs. I can stay in your home for drops or long term dog house sitting. I’m an active person so I can do pretty much anything with your dogs. Walking, dog parks, hanging out at home, feeding time, naps, and bedtime routine. I do it all with love and patience. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I make my own time so pet sitting and care will comfortably fit into my schedule I listen and follow the pet owners directions and use my best judgement and experience with each dog. They are individual so care looks different for breeds. I will do what I can to keep your dog safe.
