About: I have fenced in backyard with room to run around. I'm a very loving person towards animals, they have a certain way of always making you feel special. I grew up with a golden retriever and she was the sweetest. I've had fish as well and care about them like I would a dog or cat. I now have my own puppers. She is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who loves meeting new dogs! I have been dog sitting for many years for family and friends. I used to stay at the owner's houses but now since I have my own dog I ask that the dogs come to my house. I am home most of the day. I love playing outside, going for walks and cuddling up with the pups. I love to meet new dogs and love learning about their breed and their personalities, they're all so different! Leaving your pets with me will guarantee them a fun safe time! I currently work full-time at home so I'm able to be with the dogs if they come to my home. If dog walking is what you need, I have an hour long lunch each day and can come after 4pm as well. I have a large fenced-in yard and a young dog to keep your pup occupied. I have extra kennels at my house if needed, as well as a gate in my hallway if for any reason I would need it. I have many dog toys and treats to keep your dog happy as well. Daily walks are a must, weather permitted.
About: I have fostered dogs & have rescued dogs all my life. I have a soft spot for bully breeds & mutts but I adore every dog I meet & enjoy getting to learn their own personalities. I will always treat your fur baby like my own! I am a nurse so although my my schedule varies, I update it constantly. My hours are flexible & I am always sure to get my steps in, so why not make it more fun by adding a dog in my daily walking routine. For home care I have a fully fenced yard & 1 friendly & active dog. She enjoys playing, but is also content minding her own business. My home is just as much mine as it is my dog’s. When visiting yours & your dog’s home I’ll be respectful to your requests and follow which ever service is needed with love.
About: I've taken care of pets all my life; from dogs, cats, birds, to exotics like sugar gliders and snakes. I've always enjoyed the different personalities of pets, and caring for them makes for a pawsitively happy day. I am currently a stay at home mother of four. Since they are getting older, I've flexibility in my schedule to share and care for pets. We believe in boundaries, rules and routines. If your pet is accustomed to a specific routine, then ensuring that's achieved, and your pets needs are met, is our goal. We use fencing, crates, and harnesses as appropriate.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs ever since I was 11. I have two dogs myself who are spoiled rotten and I can’t wait to love on and care for your dog too while you’re away! I am able to set my own schedule and I primarily work from home. I can definitely move around my schedule to help meet you and your dogs needs. All I ask is that you reach out in advance:) I currently don’t offer bringing your dog to my home at this time. My senior dog is not welcoming to new dogs. However, my young dog is very social, so if you’re interested she can come and play with your dog as well.

About: My husband and I work as a team. He is known around the neighborhood for walking our dog, our neighbor's dog and our grandpuppies when they are over. Between the two of us, there is a human home 80 - 90 per cent of the time. Although we don't have children living with us, we have a 4 year old granddaughter, who loves to play with dogs, come over twice a week. Our house will never make the cover of "Good Housekeeping" but it is safe and "pet friendly." All of the dogs we have ever owned were rescue dogs, including our Boxer Popeye. We've both had dogs all of our lives. We'll treat your dog with all the love and care we give our own. Pet care IS our daily routine. We're both retired so someone is home with the pups almost every minute. Roger walks each pet daily as weather permits. We have a fenced yard and pups get to go out and come in as often as they like. They sleep indoors wherever they want. They are allowed on furniture and our bed.
“We were in a pinch to find someone to let our dogs out. Jenaya responded in a timely manner and even come over to meet our pups beforehand. Jenaya provided medications to one of our dogs who tends to have a difficult time taking his medications with no issues. Jenaya always communicated with us throughout her time spent with our pups. I would highly recommend her!”

“We're always reluctant leaving out fur babies with someone new, but Megan immediately put our minds at ease. Our dogs loved her immediately and it was instantly recognizable that she is a very caring person. We would recommend Megan to anybody looking for someone they can trust with their pets.”

About: Hello, Pet Parents! I love dogs and have had the good fortune of co-existing with them for 30 years. I’ve cared for Shih tzus, a Golden, a Lab, and a Boxer. Dogs are very special. They have my heart :) I have a flexible schedule at the moment. I’m also fine with any type of drive. I should be able to accommodate your scheduling needs. I will take my cues from your instructions and the dogs’ general routine. I like playing ball, I love brushing them, harnesses are preferred for walks, and I am comfortable using clickers, etc.
About: I have experience working at VCA’s across the US. I can handle any type of pet in any type of situation. I will love and care for your pet as though they are my own! I am currently in nursing school full time at Wayne State, I am looking for other ways to be of service in my own life. I have a large fenced in yard your pet would be very comfortable roaming. I am familiar with various harnesses and collars and how to use them correctly for walks.
About: Hello! My name is Ally, and I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, developing a deep love and understanding for them. I currently have a dog and a cat, and I truly enjoy providing them with the care and attention they need. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for a wide range of animals, including dogs of all breeds. I’m particularly experienced with large breeds, having helped care for my uncle’s energetic 110-pound Rottweiler and his skittish pitbull. These two have given me plenty of experience handling dogs with varying energy levels and temperaments. In addition to taking care of my own pets, I also regularly look after the dogs, cats and even reptiles of family members when they’re away on vacation. I even helped my SIL’s cat through birth of her kittens while she was away and one of those kittens is now my fur baby. I understand the importance of maintaining routines, giving lots of love, and ensuring pets are comfortable and safe when their owners are not around. If you're looking for someone who loves animals, is trustworthy, and has plenty of experience caring for dogs and cats, I would love to help out! I am currently available all days of the week except for certain times of the day that I’m in school. I have class Monday and Wednesday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I can always work around those times to go check on your pet before or after. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will care for your home as if it were my own, respecting your privacy and ensuring everything stays in order. I will keep you updated with photos of your pets so you can enjoy peace of mind. You can trust that I’ll treat your home and furry friends with the same love and attention I give to my own.
“This was our first time using Rover. We booked Steven & Linda pretty much last minute since my older cat was diagnosed with diabetes just a week prior to our vacation. He needed to be fed diabetic food and given insulin shots 2x per day so we were in a crunch to figure out how to have this handled before we leave town. Steven & Linda made us feel really comfortable leaving our cat in their care and we knew he was being taken care of per the doctor’s instructions. They gave detailed updates and sent photos of our fur child after each visit. Would 100% recommend them for your pet’s care!”

About: I specialize in small and senior dogs who need a calm, safe, low-stress environment — perfect for pups who don’t do well in busy boarding situations. I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, including being a dedicated dog owner and a long-time foster for small dogs. Through fostering, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience welcoming new dogs into my home and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and secure. My dogs are well-socialized and are very used to foster dogs coming in and out, so I’m experienced with safe introductions, reading dog behavior, and maintaining a calm, balanced environment. I understand that every dog has a different personality and comfort level, and I take the time to ensure each one feels supported and at ease. I specialize in small dogs and senior dogs, providing a quieter, lower-stress setting that many dogs thrive in. Because I regularly care for multiple dogs, I’m very aware of group dynamics and boundaries. I closely monitor interactions, prevent issues before they start, and can separate dogs if needed to maintain a peaceful home. I treat every dog like part of the family — with patience, attention, and love — while also maintaining structure and routine so they feel comfortable during their stay. My home is best suited for small, dog-friendly dogs who will thrive in a calm, structured environment. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I am home most of the time, which allows me to provide consistent care, supervision, and attention throughout the day. My day is structured around the dogs in my care, including regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, and plenty of time for rest and relaxation. I maintain a calm, predictable environment so dogs can feel comfortable and settle in easily. I’m able to give frequent check-ins, monitor interactions closely, and ensure each dog gets the individual attention they need while also maintaining a peaceful group dynamic. Because I only care for a small number of dogs at a time, I’m able to be very present and attentive, making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, structured home environment and take a thoughtful, experienced approach to caring for every dog. In my home, I carefully manage introductions and interactions to ensure all dogs feel safe and comfortable. Because I have experience fostering dogs, I’m very familiar with reading behavior, recognizing stress signals, and preventing issues before they arise. I only accept small, dog-friendly dogs (typically under 25 lbs) and limit care to 1–2 guest dogs at a time, which allows me to closely supervise and maintain a peaceful environment. Dogs are never left unattended in situations where safety could be a concern. I monitor group dynamics, separate dogs when needed, and ensure each dog has their own space to relax. I require that all dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention to help keep everyone healthy. For drop-in visits, I follow all instructions closely, ensure pets are secure before leaving, and provide updates so you know your pet has been cared for properly. I treat every dog as if they were my own and take the responsibility of caring for them very seriously.
“Martina did an amazing job with Freya! She was attentive, responsive, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with trusting her to care for Freya since this was my first time using rover. Thank you Martina!”

“Kathryn took care of our 1-year old cat for the 4th of July weekend, and did an excellent job making sure she was fed and safe while we were out of town. Kathryn was able to work with our schedule, and was very responsive to messages during our trip. We would definitely recommend Kathryn and would work with her again in the future!”

“Danielle was super helpful for walking our dog mid afternoon!! She was understanding of our needs and had a great personality! Will definitely be using her again! Thanks Danielle!”

About: I am very playful but can be relaxed depending on your dogs temperament. I enjoy walks and runs. I have a fenced yard that your dog can play in. I also have a couch and fireplace we can hang out in front of while watching t.v. My availability is pretty flexible as I work from home. I take care to follow any special instructions given to me so that your dog remains happy and healthy. I can handle multiple pets and any given time. I prefer small to medium dogs but I am not opposed to larger breeds. I have been dog sitting for over 10 years but I've been around pets all of my life. I would love to treat your dog as part of my family while he/she is here. I have 2 teenagers ages 14 and 15.
“Chynna was great for my pups, cleaning up their surprise messes for me and all! Timely, communicative, and my dogs look like they gave good cuddles. Would love to have Chynna back!”

Hannah does an awesome job visiting my high maintenance Doberman puppy. I always book last minute. She is very reliable, ethical, and has been a lifesaver for our family a number of times. I have full trust in her taking care of my dog and highly recommend her!

Erin was amazing with Otis - especially for our first time using a dog sitter while on vacation. She checked on him three times a day for five days, played fetch, refreshed his food and water and made sure he got his daily meds. Her comprehensive update on every visit - complete with photos - gave us total peace of mind, especially with the Arctic storm hitting Michigan while we were gone. Knowing he was safe, calm and well cared for made all the difference. She even offered to pick up extra visits if our flights were canceled. Thankfully we didn’t need it, but the gesture meant a lot. We’ll absolutely book Erin again. The comfort of knowing Otis was happy and anxiety free was worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Nicole has watched my little old, special needs dog in the past before he passed away and took such good care of him. She has now taken care of my new large dog and did amazing as well. Whether it is a small dog, a large dog, a dog with special needs - Nicole can handle any pet! It is clear she is compassionate about animals and the peace of mind I feel about leaving mine with her is priceless. What a blessing it is to be able to have someone so reliable and kind to leave my fur babies with when I am gone!

All we can say is...AMAZING! Sarah cared for our senior dog, Murphy, while we were out of town. It was our first time leaving him with somebody other than family. He was comfortable, cared for, and given a lot of attention. She administered medicine to him, walked him, and treated him like her own pet. She send us detailed feedback and pictures at each visit. We highly recommend Sarah and will be a repeat client!
