She was absolutely amazing! Our cat has diabetes and needs injections every 12 hours. She was on time every single drop in, she kept us updated on everything. My cat even looked disappointed to see me when I got home. I highly recommend her to anyone especially if your pet has any kind of medical needs! Thank you Brittany for taking such great care of Sorin!

Being new to rover, it can be an unsettling concept but Sarah made me feel so comfortable. She was great! She accepted my last minute request to hang out with my two dogs for an hour, which is so appreciated! My dogs adored her and were stuck to her like glue! She was on time and responsive. I would absolutely use again Sarah in the future!

About: Lifelong pet owner. I have experience with homes with multiple animals and breeds. I also have experience with exotic species. I'm the type of person who will ask to pet every dog on my walk. I promise your pet will be loved. I work full time as a teacher, so I will be available any time outside of school hours. I am especially free on weekend days and weekday afternoons. I currently use a braided clip lead and harness for walking my foster dog. I also enjoy playing fetch in fenced yards or dog parks.

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I have cared for dogs for three years and enjoy caring for multiple dogs at a time. There are very few times where your dog or cat would be left alone. My normal schedule for letting out dogs is every two hours. My back yard is fully fenced with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. Your dog will have access to fresh water, couches, dog beds, and treats! I don't crate unless asked. I do charge a cleaning fee if anyone has frequent accidents or marks.

About: When leaving on a trip im always so worried about leaving my dog, Apollo, which is why I always make sure to treat others’ pets as my own. I have 5 years of experience caring for dogs: being a doggie foster parent, volunteering at my local animal shelter, dog walking and dog sitting! I am comfortable and confident with all breeds and sizes, and I am experienced with puppies and reactivity. I prefer to adapt my style to whatever your pup is most used to. Your pup loves walks and wants to run around in the backyard? Count me in! Your pup is a couch potato and just wants some belly rubs? I’m there! I typically work a hybrid schedule, so some days will allow me to be home with your pup a majority of the time! My exact schedule will depend on the day and the week and can be talked about prior to booking! I always ensure I have ample time with your pup, as I would my own. Your pets safety and comfortability are most important! I provide care based on what the owner needs for their loved pup! I’m very careful to make sure gates/doors and closely follow routines that the pup is used to!

About: Hi, I’m Janelle! I’m a lifelong animal lover who understands how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I host one dog at a time to ensure each pet receives my full attention, structure, and care. Because I work from home, I’m home throughout the day and able to provide regular care, breaks, and consistency to meet your pets needs. I’m highly responsive to messages and I love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. I live in a quiet neighborhood with great walking routes for exercise and adventures. My home is spacious, comfortable, and designed to help pets feel safe and relaxed while they’re away from their families. About: My first dog is Dakota, but he has taught me a ton since I've had him. I have been around dogs and cats, and other animals since I was a young child. Between my grandparents, and friends and family's animals, I have always been around pets. My family always owned cats, and when I moved out I decided that I wanted a dog. I currently work from home most of days of the week (Tues-Fri), and figured that someone who is going to work might not want to leave their dog home alone all day. I figured that since I am home, I could provide dog owners with another local option for doggy daycare. I have a fenced in yard and I have my own dog who is very friendly. I am constantly getting up to check on Dakota during the workday to make sure that all of his needs are being met.

With years of experience caring for both my own pets and others, I know every furry friend has their own unique personality, quirks, and needs. Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Center Line stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Center Line choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Center Line with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Center Line. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
