I’m a homemaker that’s looking to fill a few hours a day outside walking and/or playing with your furbabies. Whenever I’m with any animal I feel pure joy in my soul. Animals are amazing and the more I get to meet and spend time with the better. Don’t need your dog walked? I also do check ins. This is basically reserved for those who won’t be home in 8 hours to let their dog outside. I will let them out (leash or no leash depending on yard) Give them food, water and/or medication they may need. And of course plenty of love and attention. 🥰

PLEASE NOTE: I will NOT except vacation drop-ins if the dog is crated. Dogs must have free roam of the home. Crating a dog for long periods of time isn’t right. I will not agree to that. Dogs MUST always have access to water and be able to move around freely. All vacations have to have 3-4 sessions each day. I will not agree to once a day for dogs. Thank you 🐾 When any animal is in my care I will treat it as my own. I take safety very seriously. Always leashed and I will be sure to check for tags before leaving for a walk. I also ask that your animals profile is complete. All health and vet info must be filled out. It’s important incase there is an emergency.

Information Ashley S. would like to know about your pet

I will always request a meet and greet before working with your pet. It’s important that we are on the same page. With puppies it’s important to know your commands that you wish to use as to not confuse your little one. It’s also important that your dog has met me before a session so they know my smell. During the meet and greet we can go over their personality, things they like and things they don’t like. Fears and/or any behavioral issues that need to be addressed. I ONLY use positive reinforcement when working with your pets. I promise to treat them as my own.

A typical day

Depending on what you’re looking for… if it’s a walk, I will be sure to allow your dog the time to smell and explore. It’s incredibly important to let your dogs smell for mental stimulation. Walks aren’t just about physical exercise but mental exercise as well. I will supply treats and poop bags. I always clean up after your dog on every walk. If you have me over for a check in, that includes feeding them, playing and spending time outside. I always take the dogs out twice in one session, giving them plenty of time to go potty. I will also help with training if that’s what you need. I specialize in working with dogs with physical disabilities and behavioral issues. I have worked with several dogs that are scared of strangers, dogs that are rescues that have shut down. I have been able to help dozens of dogs come out of the shell. It may take some time but it’s so worth it. I will always use positive reinforcement and I will always take my time and not push them to fast. It’s very important to let them set the pace. I take pride in what I do.

Tell your dog I said Hi 🐾

Pet care experience

I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 18. I enjoy spending time with all sizes and all breeds of dogs. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals, I will stop everything to help save an animal in need. I’ve helped save dogs, cats, birds (including a hawk), turtles, opossums, skunks, raccoons and squirrels. I truly feel it’s my job to help protect and save as many animals as I can while I’m on this earth. So I decided to spend my day with as many animals as I possibly can 🥰

We have had the best experience with Ashley! She has been incredible with our puppy. She is patient, attentive, and genuinely caring. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Ashley always communicated well, showed up reliably and treated Oliver like her own. We are so grateful for Ashley and would highly recommend her.
