“Of I could give Steven 100 stars I would. He did a fantastic job with my dog. I asked him could we meet before he watched her and he was now than willing. I asked because my dog doesn't care for men nor does she like other pets. When I introduced them she was snappy at first but warmed up to Steven. But Steven brought his dog out and I could not control her. She went right into attack mode and all I could think is, this is not going to work. Well me and Steven had a conversation on several ways to handle this. And ended up not utilizing any we talked about. He had her social with other dogs by the end of the day and they played together and say together. He sent me pictures and videos of the interactions and made me feel comfortable. When I picked her up he had everything ready for her to leave with and she was a happy dog. From this interaction I'm going to use Steven every time I need a sitter. About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

We are happy to follow any specific instructions you may have and will do our best to provide a happy, healthy environment for your furry family member while you’re away. We are both recently retired and don’t currently have any pets so we can give yours all the attention he or she needs. We are happy to send photos and/or videos while you’re away if you like! We will make sure your dog(s) get lots of exercise, love and attention! We are retired and are available everyday - weekdays, weekends, holidays - you name it! We are completely flexible and able to work with your schedule. We can even pick up and/or drop off your fur baby if it’s more convenient for you. Just ask us - we are more than happy to help! And while our profile says that we only take ONE dog at a time, we are happy to take two or three AS LONG AS THEY ARE FROM THE SAME FAMILY. We strongly believe in making your dog’s (or dogs’) experience as close to what you provide at home. That’s why we don’t have any other animals of our own and we won’t care for multiple dogs from outside your own family. It’s safer for your dog(s) and there is much less anxiety for them when they aren’t faced with unknown dogs. We endeavor to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable and calm as possible during their stay with us. Safety first! Our entire home has been recently remodeled and is very dog friendly. We keep chemicals out of sight and behind closed doors. Our yard is fenced in and there is a lot of space to run and play. Joe is “dog-walker extraordinaire” and loves to take long or short walks any time of day.

When I was young, my friends and I would rescue the stray animals in the neighborhood and return them to my home. My parents would lovingly laugh and help me try to locate the owners. The love and happiness animals bring to our lives makes the world go round :) I have worked with many rescues and rehabilitation as well as extensive knowledge on animal care from potty schedules, diets and nutrition, medication needs, etc. My experience administering medication I have had to administer medications before for prior animals I have sitted for, so any special needs is not an issue. I will make your animals feel loved and safe in my care always with daily videos and photos of the fun your pet is having. I am always will to work with families to ensure the best care possible and will follow scheduled feedings and needs for your pets. I am currently a Pre-K teacher out of Farmington Hills, so I am able to work around your needs weekly/weekends and holidays as schedule allows I ensure communication is ongoing throughout the day depending on clients needs. About: I believe that dogs have incredible souls and they also have unconditional love and compassion. There is something peaceful about watching dogs and making sure they are OK. “Of I could give Steven 100 stars I would. He did a fantastic job with my dog. I asked him could we meet before he watched her and he was now than willing. I asked because my dog doesn't care for men nor does she like other pets. When I introduced them she was snappy at first but warmed up to Steven. But Steven brought his dog out and I could not control her. She went right into attack mode and all I could think is, this is not going to work. Well me and Steven had a conversation on several ways to handle this. And ended up not utilizing any we talked about. He had her social with other dogs by the end of the day and they played together and say together. He sent me pictures and videos of the interactions and made me feel comfortable. When I picked her up he had everything ready for her to leave with and she was a happy dog. From this interaction I'm going to use Steven every time I need a sitter. I'm sticking with what worked and this worked for me. Thank you Steven you did a great job.”
