“Of I could give Steven 100 stars I would. He did a fantastic job with my dog. I asked him could we meet before he watched her and he was now than willing. I asked because my dog doesn't care for men nor does she like other pets. When I introduced them she was snappy at first but warmed up to Steven. But Steven brought his dog out and I could not control her. She went right into attack mode and all I could think is, this is not going to work. Well me and Steven had a conversation on several ways to handle this. And ended up not utilizing any we talked about. He had her social with other dogs by the end of the day and they played together and say together. He sent me pictures and videos of the interactions and made me feel comfortable. When I picked her up he had everything ready for her to leave with and she was a happy dog. From this interaction I'm going to use Steven every time I need a sitter. I'm sticking with what worked and this worked for me. Thank you Steven you did a great job.”

About: I have been taking care of cats since 2006. My sister's cat was called "Kitten", and I took care of him when my sister went out of town. He was quite the character! I never knew that cats could be so funny! He started off as a kitten, and lived to be 15 years old. He and I liked watching The Weather Channel. As a senior cat, I administered his medications, and 2 kinds of special food. He knew he could trust me. He died in 2025. Funny story: One day, during a rainstorm, some birds gathered under the window awning. Kitten was mad, and kept trying to bat them, but they stayed there. He then was exhausted and fell asleep. My sister sent me a text, and we both just kept laughing! I also currently watch my niece's cat Luna. She is about 4 years old and has a special diet cat food. She is graceful, has beautiful green eyes, and while she sees me, she still takes a bit to warm up. I talk to her to reassure her that I am here to take care of her.

About: Hello there! My name is Julie and I’m a licensed veterinary technician (animal nurse) from the Metro Detroit area! I’ve been an LVT for 6 years and have worked in both Oncology & Emergency medicine! I have experience reading animal body language, giving medications via various routes, & have worked with all types of breeds both young and old! I am currently working part time at a local Veterinary Clinic and usually work 3 times a week although my schedule varies month to month! About: We love dogs and promise to take care of yours as if he or she was part of our family. We are happy to follow any specific instructions you may have and will do our best to provide a happy, healthy environment for your furry family member while you’re away. We are both recently retired and don’t currently have any pets so we can give yours all the attention he or she needs. We are happy to send photos and/or videos while you’re away if you like! We will make sure your dog(s) get lots of exercise, love and attention! We are retired and are available everyday - weekdays, weekends, holidays - you name it! We are completely flexible and able to work with your schedule. We can even pick up and/or drop off your fur baby if it’s more convenient for you. Just ask us - we are more than happy to help! And while our profile says that we only take ONE dog at a time, we are happy to take two or three AS LONG AS THEY ARE FROM THE SAME FAMILY. We strongly believe in making your dog’s (or dogs’) experience as close to what you provide at home. That’s why we don’t have any other animals of our own and we won’t care for multiple dogs from outside your own family. It’s safer for your dog(s) and there is much less anxiety for them when they aren’t faced with unknown dogs. We endeavor to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable and calm as possible during their stay with us. Safety first! Our entire home has been recently remodeled and is very dog friendly. We keep chemicals out of sight and behind closed doors. Our yard is fenced in and there is a lot of space to run and play. Joe is “dog-walker extraordinaire” and loves to take long or short walks any time of day.
About: I believe that dogs have incredible souls and they also have unconditional love and compassion. There is something peaceful about watching dogs and making sure they are OK. Fitness is something else I am into and working with RoverGo let’s me combine the two and it’s wonderful! I’m also excited to grow my dog sitting business with Rover and I absolutely love working with dogs and their owners on a daily basis -- it’s truly exciting to me and I couldn’t be happier! “Of I could give Steven 100 stars I would. He did a fantastic job with my dog. I asked him could we meet before he watched her and he was now than willing. I asked because my dog doesn't care for men nor does she like other pets. When I introduced them she was snappy at first but warmed up to Steven. But Steven brought his dog out and I could not control her. She went right into attack mode and all I could think is, this is not going to work. Well me and Steven had a conversation on several ways to handle this. And ended up not utilizing any we talked about. He had her social with other dogs by the end of the day and they played together and say together. He sent me pictures and videos of the interactions and made me feel comfortable. When I picked her up he had everything ready for her to leave with and she was a happy dog. From this interaction I'm going to use Steven every time I need a sitter. I'm sticking with what worked and this worked for me. Thank you Steven you did a great job.”

My dog can be pretty anxious, especially in new environments, but Cody handled him with patience and care. He was nervous at drop-off, but it was reassuring to see how much more relaxed and at ease he was by the end of his stay.
