Back in May, as a first-time user of Rover, I created 3 separate bookings with a sitter who had glowing reviews. However, on the day of our meet & greet—only 1 week before our first trip—she completely ghosted us. I nearly panicked because I didn’t think we’d be able to find an available sitter on such short notice. I hopped back on Rover, entered my dates, filtered by Star Sitters, and hit “search.” Red was at the top of my search results, and after looking over her profile, I felt like she may be a good choice. Although her calendar showed her as available for the dates of our trip, I was prepared to be let down. I sent her a message explaining our situation. Not only did she respond quickly, she also responded with kindness & empathy. Best of all, she was available to sit for our beloved kitty! AND she volunteered to come over the next morning for a meet & greet! Less than 24 hours after reaching out to her, Red messaged me to let me know she was on her way to my house. Upon opening my door, I immediately liked her. Seriously. She just radiates this incredible energy! She is also so kind, compassionate, and engaging. She explained how she has devoted her life to caring for animals, and she just lit up as she was telling us about it. Best of all? Sassy, our shy & anxious kitty, came out of hiding pretty quickly to investigate her, and by the end of the visit, was giving Red love rubs on her leg! This was unprecedented, and we were absolutely shocked. Sassy’s response to meeting Red left no doubts in our mind; we had chosen the perfect caretaker for our precious kitty. We booked Red for two of our three camping trips. This review is based on our second booking with her, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her! She is the sweetest person! And an excellent communicator, which is vital for us anxious pet parents who are forced to leave our beloved (and vulnerable!) pets home alone. I had no qualms leaving Sassy alone this second time because I knew that Red would take excellent care of her…and she absolutely has! I am so sad that Red is not available for our third trip, but if she’s available next summer, you can bet I will be booking her!”
“Danielle was great! I have two kitties, one needs insulin injections every 12 hours, the other is very shy. Neither cat was shy AT ALL when she did her drop-in visits. This is very rare for my younger kitty, usually she hides from anyone except myself! If my kitties can trust Danielle, I think you can too. Danielle did a great job at making sure all visits were timely so my diabetic cat got his injections on time. My cats were very well taken care of while I was out of town, I was able to fully relax and enjoy myself while I was gone knowing they were in good hands. I will absolutely try to book her again next time I go out of town. Highly recommend her!!”

From a child, I’ve always had a dog that I’ve cared for of different breeds from Beagle to Elkhound and now a Shepherd/Golden mix. I frequently dog sit for my brother who has an Aussie/Bernie mix. My dog recently suffered a TPLO tear and we’ve had to make significant adjustments due to complications that happened. I learned to help support his 115 pound frame for potty breaks, give shots, and give medications. His surgical team has even joked that I could get a job there once he’s healed up from all that I’ve learned. I work fully remote unless traveling (for which my schedule is blocked). My days are somewhat flexible to meet your families needs. Weekends are also very flexible. If you book with me, I will communicate what times I’m available and can send you photos of your babies. I will take care of your 4 legged friend just like they are my own. Having a very smart and large shepherd myself I’m always on the lookout for things he can get into and make sure everything is picked up so he can’t get hurt or in trouble. I have a large fenced yard and can go outside with your dog if that gives you peace of mind. My house is fairly small but there is plenty of room for crates and toys.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was around nine, helping with feed, bathing and taking puppies out. As well as giving the dogs their medicine and giving them more time with their training commands. Making sure they still follow those. Pet care fits into my daily routine, because I am currently looking for a job and love working with animals so this would be a nice side or main job Since we aren’t allowed to have pets in our home, I am respectful of other others and their suggestions or rules /boundaries of their routines and homes

I just recently lost my little Toby due to congestive heart failure in March so I have decided to love and adore other people's fur babies. Animals bring so much joy into our daily lives and I want to make sure that when you are away your animal will still feel loved and never lonely. I am familiar with any type of medical problems your animal might have, so medicating is okay. I have four dogs, a bunny and a cat. There's never a dull moment in my house. About: I have fenced in backyard with room to run around. I'm a very loving person towards animals, they have a certain way of always making you feel special. I grew up with a golden retriever and she was the sweetest. I've had fish as well and care about them like I would a dog or cat. I now have my own puppers. She is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who loves meeting new dogs! I have been dog sitting for many years for family and friends. I used to stay at the owner's houses but now since I have my own dog I ask that the dogs come to my house. I am home most of the day. I love playing outside, going for walks and cuddling up with the pups. I love to meet new dogs and love learning about their breed and their personalities, they're all so different! Leaving your pets with me will guarantee them a fun safe time! I currently work full-time at home so I'm able to be with the dogs if they come to my home. If dog walking is what you need, I have an hour long lunch each day and can come after 4pm as well. I have a large fenced-in yard and a young dog to keep your pup occupied. I have extra kennels at my house if needed, as well as a gate in my hallway if for any reason I would need it. I have many dog toys and treats to keep your dog happy as well. Daily walks are a must, weather permitted.
