I'm a life long Grosse Pointer. I grew up in GPP & now live in GPF. I would love the opportunity to care for all of your pets. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, birds and fish. Although I love all animals I do have a special affinity for senior dogs. I have rescued a handful over the years and it is truly rewarding and good for the soul. My first pet was a kitten I rescued when I was about 6 years old. He was with me for over 20 years. My first dog was a senior poodle I rescued from the middle of the street on a very cold day. When no one claimed her I quickly went and adopted her. From there on in I was officially a dog person too. All of my clients receive photos and updates for each and every visit.

Heather has watched our two cats twice now. The first time was last year for week/end, and she just watched them again this weekend. We’ve already booked her for a longer trip this spring, which probably says everything on its own. The first time we booked her, we were in a pinch and relied on her glowing reviews. I’m so glad we did because they were very accurate - she is kind, intuitive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the animals she cares for. She asks thorough questions to make sure she understands every aspect of care and double-checks feeding routines, medical details, and emergency contacts. It’s clear she takes the responsibility seriously and wants to do things the right way. Her communication is always prompt and reassuring. She sends plenty of photos and updates, which gives us so much peace of mind. Our cats are generally friendly, but they truly seem to like her and feel comfortable around her, which says a lot. Even on short trips, she is attentive about refilling food and water and making sure everything is in order. She’s local, reliable, and charges a fair price for the level of care she provides. Most importantly, I trust her. I know she genuinely cares about our cats when she’s with them, and that makes all the difference. I would confidently recommend her to anyone in the area looking for compassionate, dependable pet care.
Amazing as always!
Heather went above and beyond while we were out of the country for 3 weeks. A huge stow storm hit and Heather shoveled and salted our sidewalk and porch multiple times as well as took care of our cats fantastically as always. Heather is a true angel and hero to us and our cats!
Heather was amazing with our 7-mo old kitten. She was very communicative, punctual, and made sure our little guy was taken care of while we were away. Having Heather’s help was a life saver. We will definitely work with her again!
