About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a small family farm, where pets were always part of the family. My parents frequently adopted and fostered both cats and dogs, so I’ve spent years caring for all kinds of personalities and breeds—from tiny Chihuahuas to Basset Hounds and high-energy Huskies. Although I can’t currently have pets of my own, caring for other people’s animals has become my favorite way to stay connected to what I love most. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m available in the morning and evenings, and am able to leave work during breaks to do a quick check in on pets! Weekends are completely open. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to work with families to make sure their pets get the attention and care they need! Although I grew up with dogs on the couch and in bed I will always respect the owner’s house rules. Multiple walks a day, respecting scheduled feeding times, and most of all giving all of my attention to your furry friends!

About: I have 3 family dogs, and co-parent 2 cats. 2 of the dogs are elderly and require special attention, including medicine, watching for allergies, and specialized food. 1 of the cats is an orphaned kitten who needs special attention as well. I have experience with all kinds of pets at all ages, and have experience with caring for elderly pets and young pets including: giving medicine, giving specialized food, specific playtime needs, specific potty-time schedules, watching for medical events, and more. I currently work part-time for the City of East Lansing and am a student at Michigan State. I love animals and this is a perfect way to get my animal fix alongside my part-time job (and co-parenting 2 cats)! As stated in my Pet Care Experience I have knowledge of all kinds of specialized needs for elderly and young pets. I am able to accommodate any needs for your pets. Being able to adapt how I care for pets depending on their specific behavior and needs are something I have experience in, and can do for you and your pets!

About: I work in the medical field as a PA and also have a love for animals. I have my own dog and have grown up with dogs so I am very capable of caring for them! Caring for my own pet, Duke, and others fits wonderfully into my daily schedule. I do work during the days but often find myself coming home early. We do almost daily walks in the mornings or evenings and have lots of play time inside. Weekends are filled with outside activities such as dog parks, walks, or enjoying the day inside with friends. I live in an apartment downtown Detroit close to many dog parks as well as easy access to the riverwalk and other trails. My dog roams freely in our apartment/sleeps with us as any guest pets are welcome to do as well, unless specified otherwise by owners:)

I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and notes after each walk or visit. I live downtown and have a flexible work schedule so I am easily able to go on walks, runs, or be home whenever it’s planned for. About: I have helped take care of my family dog for the last 10 years. I now live away from home and I am missing my time with my dog! I enjoy walking and bathing dogs. My family dog has a very strict eating and medicine routine, so I am used to being meticulous about pet care. I am a medical student at Wayne State University, however, I have some flexibility in my schedule. I am available consistently in the evenings, but with enough notice, I can make other times work during the day. I will make sure to follow any instructions on not only direct pet care, but if you need me to shut doors, keep lights on, etc. to make sure your dog is as safe and comfortable in your home as possible:)

About: My family has always had dogs and from the age of about 8 I helped to potty train, crate train and care for 3 dogs. I've given many baths, administered lots of medication, clipped many nails and cleaned up many accidents. I've cared for senior dogs, puppies and everything in between. Now I have a dog all to my own and she thrives everyday! She's potty trained and crate trained and knows her basic manners and how to shake paws. I really just love dogs and would love the opportunity to make someone's pet feel special and cared for in their absence! I work from home, so I'm always at home with my own pet. I'm very flexible and free just about any time. I have reliable transportation and am always timely. I carefully follow all instructions left by pet parents and if I feel uncomfortable or unclear, I will always reach out to ask for guidance. I personally never walk my own dog off leash, as I worry about her safety and the safety of others, so I would always keep your dog on a leash. I love the dog park but if that is not your dog's speed, I love leisurely on leash strolls as well. I walk my own dog about an hour everyday so I'm always free to help get your puppy some exercise! I always carry water on walks and know when dogs get overwhelmed and/or tired.

About: Hello, my name is Renee :-) I have had and cared for pets all of my life. I currently have a pug mix and a min-pin mix, that I love with all of my heart. I work as a Special Education School Social Worker- so when I am not home with my dogs I am at work managing the needs of special education students! With my career being said, I am currently off of work/school for the Summer Break and would love to spend some of my free time helping out and caring for your animal when you are in need. I am very dependable, and am particular when it comes to your requests and needs. I also use this app when I am at work so I am familiar with the process and know how important it is to have your fur-baby taken care of when you are away! I Please feel free to reach out, I'd love to help! I currently live downtown Detroit, and would like to stick to that area or surrounding areas (i.e. Midtown, Rivertown, Corktown, New Center). I have availability Monday through Thursday during the day and evening. I am pretty flexible as far as time. I am not available on the weekends, as I have another part-time job. I can care for your pets in your home. I am available for stop in feedings/ potty breaks, play time, walks. I cannot do overnight housesitting visits, due to having two dogs of my own.
