“Heather has been wonderful to work with. She’s been prompt, careful and communicative with her visits with my pet. She’s been able to have a warm relationship with my pet despite my cat’s shyness. I absolutely plan on rebooking visits with Heather in the future.”

“Callie is incredible!! This was my first time having someone I didn’t personally know check on my boys and I am so lucky to have found Callie. She took care of them (and my apartment), and always left amazing updates at the end of each check in. She even made sure my plants didn’t die because there was a heat wave while I was gone. Percy and Rocket told me they would love to have her back <3 thank you!!”

“We had Randi watch our cats for the first time this past week. Randi kept us up-to-date with pictures and notes and our cats were well taken care of. One cat needs medication and he was great on our return. Very reliable!”

“Jeannette is an amazing person with lots of energy and spends quality time with our dog. She has been walking our dog since he was a little pup and I would recommend her to anyone in the area. She is the best!!!”

About: I lived on a small family farm for 20 years of my life which led to me being a die hard animal lover! My parents would always adopt and foster both cats and dogs (along with some farm animals!) so I have experience taking care of many different breeds of dogs, from chihuahuas to basset hounds and huskies. Unfortunately my landlord does not allow pets in my residence, but helping families with their pets while they’re gone fuels my pet withdrawals while making sure their furry friends are well taken care of! I’m available in the morning and evenings, and am able to leave work during breaks to do a quick check in on pets! Weekends are completely open. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to work with families to make sure their pets get the attention and care they need! Although I grew up with dogs on the couch and in bed I will always respect the owner’s house rules. Multiple walks a day, respecting scheduled feeding times, and most of all giving all of my attention to your furry friends!
“Breanna was great! We would definitely book her cat sitting services again! We left for 4 days over Thanksgiving and Breanna took care of our 2 cats during that time. We received photo/video and the cats were very happy when we arrived home. Breanna also swept up the bits of kitty litter so we arrived to a clean space as well. Appreciate the extra care she took!”

About: I’m an animal lover with 5+ years of pet care experience, including dog walking and sitting. I’m an active Michigan Humane volunteer for fostering and a Wayne State alum living downtown. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, bunnies, and reptiles, and I treat every pet like my own with lots of love, patience, and attention. Flexible schedule currently between jobs and looking for some extra work! Looking to get out during the day and take some long walks in the city or check in on your pets when you need! Outdoor fenced apartment area. Large apartment, lots of room as I live by myself and pet friendly. Downtown, so city walks are easy and convenient!
“Lukis was AMAZING! My girl cat, Gladys, really warmed up to Lukis in almost no time at all. She kept me up to date on everything and sent me great photos. I usually have so much anxiety around leaving my cats with a sitter, but not this time. I WILL be a repeat customer.”

“Jj is such a fantastic catsitter! She is incredibly caring and thorough, making sure both you and your pets feel comfortable and well taken care of. She's able to navigate any difficult situations that may arise and will always treat your pets as if they were her own. I always feel at ease knowing Jj is caring for my furry crew while I'm away. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first time working with Sydney and we couldn’t be happier that she’s a new friend in our cat’s life! During our initial visit, we could tell that Sydney was such a kind and good person. Through all of the updates and she pictures sent over, we could see that our cat was very happy and felt loved, which is all you can ask for while away.”

“Avery was great, she gave me updates and shared photos of her time spent with Bailey while I had work commitments, giving her treats and belly rubs. I highly recommend Avery and won’t hesitate if I need her help again soon : )”

“Marissa is always amazing - great communication, thorough, and you can tell she truly cares about your pets. I'm so grateful that we found someone we can trust to give our cat's medication as well.”

“Maheen took great care of our two cats while we were out of town. They seemed to be comfortable with her right away and we really appreciated the cute pictures and thorough updates every visit. We would highly recommend Maheen to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m Daniella — a dog lover and active walker based in downtown Detroit. I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, and I treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or quiet couch time, I will make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy. My work is flexible so I can give your dog plenty of attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and notes after each walk or visit. I live downtown and have a flexible work schedule so I am easily able to go on walks, runs, or be home whenever it’s planned for. I live in a spacious apartment near capitol park dog park and the river walk. I have a car so I'm happy to host here or go to you.
About: For 15 years, I've cared for my own pets through every stage of life. Everything from boneless puppy days, anxious rescue transitions, chronic care, and senior routines. Those years have taught me patience, intuition, and how to help animals feel comfortable. **I aim to provide a safe, respectful experience for all families. If you are feeling impacted by the current political climate and activity and/or have concerns about privacy or safety, you’re welcome to message me directly—I'm glad to help however I can.** I have a flexible schedule that makes it easy to adapt to your pet's needs and keep things consistent. **My calendar and availability will be updated weekly on Mondays.** I aim to create a calm, predictable environment. I will stick closely to your routines–meals, walks, meds, and house rules–so your pet's day feels familiar and low-stress. In your home, I treat the space with care and stay mindful of doors, gates, and any potential risks. (I have my own "Harry Husky Houdini", so I understand an escape artists.) If something seems off, I'll check in right away. At my home, pets stay in a safe, pet-friendly space with no toxic plants or hazards. We have a doggy door for easy access outside, but all outdoor time is supervised. I never do off-leash time unless we're in a fully fenced/secure area and you've approved it. I tend to communicate often, so you'll always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel just as at ease, because as a fellow pet parent, I know how hard it can be to be apart.
“Katie was very accommodating, responsive, and helped to relieve my anxieties about leaving my cat for the first time in a very long time. I highly recommend Katie!”
About: I love dogs, I have four of my own. They are super spoiled. Have great experience with puppy care, walks are essential to pet health. I can remove bee stingers and aftercare (plenty of experience with this unfortunately). I also have experience with dog sitting. Can’t wait to meet new dog friends 😊 P.S: Please book me I’m trying to make extra cash to send to Mexico to help pay for my Grandpas convalescent care🙏🏽 My afternoons and weekends are free so I’m super flexible with any needs your dogs have. I can also be available last minute if needed. Unfortunately I can’t onboard dogs. I have four of my own at home and one of them isn’t the friendliest particularly with female dogs. You can trust me in your home if you’d like, I have experience with this as well.

Breanna was great! Our cat had a great time with her when we were away. She kept us updated with texts, photos, and videos while we were away (and even FaceTimed us when we wanted to confirm a tricky house item). Kenny seems to have enjoyed having all of the attention and great playtime with Breanna. Would hire again!

Lukis was absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful, detail oriented and our cats truly loved her energy. She took care of them as if they were her own kitties, which gave us so much peace of mind. We couldn’t be happier and would 100% recommend her to our neighbors and friends very responsible and respectful!

Randi took great care of ziva for a last minute business trip. She was very communicative throughout the process and even took the time to do a meet and greet before I left. I loved seeing pictures on my trip and knowing my dog was well taken care of. I will be using her again.

Really on top of everything, making sure she knows where everything is and the cats’ general routine before arriving, even made sure to double check with me when they got overexcited for their food. My usually shy cats warmed up to her quickly, and judging by the pictures had a great time, I’ll definitely be hiring Eleanor again when I go away.

Areatha went above and beyond for our two cats. One of them had an unexpected eye infection right before we were planning to go on our trip. Areatha was incredibly flexible in making sure our kitty got her meds. She was always on top of communication and sent us photos and videos. I will definitely be booking with her again the next time we go out of town!

Naomi was diligent and attentive to our new cat who played a tough game of hide and seek each time she arrived to check on him. Instead of throwing her hands up and saying she couldn’t find him, she took the extra effort of searching (high and low) to make sure he was doing well. We can’t thank Naomi enough for putting our minds at ease while we were on vacation. Thank you, Naomi!
