Reliable care
I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for animals in my social circle. I've cared for pets across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I used to work as a volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and have experience with lots of different pets and situations. I currently live with a 3-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance!

Sylvie was amazing with our 3 animals! She even did a meet-and-greet before we left on our trip so that the animals could get to know her and make sure it went okay. Sylvie took great care of our babies, the house, and we had zero worries while we were away cause we knew they were in good hands. Would highly recommend Sylvie to care for your critters and we will definitely book with her again!

Sylvie did a phenomenal job caring for our anxious, shy/fearful pup last minute! She was able to accommodate 2 meet and greets which made our pup comfortable ahead of her stay. Sylvie asked thoughtful questions about his behavior and care requirements and listened to all of our nervous parent requests. She has a calming demeanor which really helped with our nervous guy. Sylvie had no problems administering medication, was sure to send updates throughout the stay, and was very communicative about everything. We feel so lucky to have found her!

I've known Sylvie for a decade now and I've always known her to be caring for a dog in one way or another, whether it's been her own puppers or baby-sitting one or more of our mutual friend's dogs. We've taken long walks with the dogs, drives with the dogs, swims with the dogs. I feel she understands them more than most people, sees them each for the unique characteristics and quirks that they have and really values the companionship that they bring. Your beloved pets will be in safe, loving and playful hands!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am available for walks and drop-ins on most days between 8am - 4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. I can accommodate most sitting requests if your pet can be left alone for brief periods. (If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days, but the app doesn’t allow the calendar to reflect this).
