About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. Growing up around them taught me everything I needed to know about their moods, needs, and the little quirks that make each one special. Most recently, I had the joy of caring for a friend’s puppy full-time for six months, and that experience only deepened my love for the job. About: I have had dogs all my life and have been sole caregiver for my dog Jay Bear for five years! I have worked with therapy dogs and taken care over three different dogs as their primary sitter. I am currently in school getting my Master’s. I am free all day Tuesday and Friday! On Monday, Wednesday, Thursday I am free until 4 due to having evening classes! Hello! I have experience caring for all kinds of dogs. I have taken care of a dog going through chemotherapy, a dog with specialized diet, and many other specialized treatment needs. I am trained in dog walking through a private session with my own dog and love hanging outside with dogs!

About: I work in the medical field as a PA and also have a love for animals. I have my own dog and have grown up with dogs so I am very capable of caring for them! Caring for my own pet, Duke, and others fits wonderfully into my daily schedule. I do work during the days but often find myself coming home early. We do almost daily walks in the mornings or evenings and have lots of play time inside. Weekends are filled with outside activities such as dog parks, walks, or enjoying the day inside with friends. I live in an apartment downtown Detroit close to many dog parks as well as easy access to the riverwalk and other trails. My dog roams freely in our apartment/sleeps with us as any guest pets are welcome to do as well, unless specified otherwise by owners:)

About: I have 3 family dogs, and co-parent 2 cats. 2 of the dogs are elderly and require special attention, including medicine, watching for allergies, and specialized food. 1 of the cats is an orphaned kitten who needs special attention as well. I have experience with all kinds of pets at all ages, and have experience with caring for elderly pets and young pets including: giving medicine, giving specialized food, specific playtime needs, specific potty-time schedules, watching for medical events, and more. I currently work part-time for the City of East Lansing and am a student at Michigan State. I love animals and this is a perfect way to get my animal fix alongside my part-time job (and co-parenting 2 cats)! As stated in my Pet Care Experience I have knowledge of all kinds of specialized needs for elderly and young pets. I am able to accommodate any needs for your pets. About: Almost all of my experience as a dog owner and sitter is with dogs that have come from shelters or other adopted situations. I have owned “retired” greyhounds that were severely traumatized, I have cared for small dogs with unknown, but clearly extremely difficult, past traumas, and I have stayed and bonded with boxers and pit bulls who are slow to trust but then become bed-hogging cuddlers! Recently, I had my first experience helping train a puppy! I spent five months with a family and their sweet cavipoo house training and leash training. I teach from home and so I am always home! Well, except for the occasional errand, appointment, etc. So, I would love the extra company and the excuse to get out of the house and get some exercise! I live in an apartment building so I do not have a fenced yard. However, I live on Lafayette Park where I walk daily. It is incredibly safe and I have gotten to know many of the pet parents in the building and the neighborhood. I have two five month old kittens that I adopted from a foster home two months ago where they lived with a dog. I am hoping to keep them exposed to other animals so that when I have a larger place, I will be able to expand my family of pets.
