About: 10+ years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, sizes and ages have taught me that every dog really is one-of-a-kind, and I honor all of their unique personalities and needs. I do sincerely respect dogs, but I always have so much fun spending time with them! I’m a student, and I’m busy with class from 12:30-4 M-TH, so I have the most free time during mornings and evenings. I live in an apartment with my very gentle 8 year old poodle, who I’ve noticed is a comforting presence to nervous dogs. I live a very short walk away from a great dog park.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child as my family had a farm when I was growing up. I have also rescued most of the animals that I’ve had and wish to rescue way more in the future. I’m currently enrolled in Schoolcraft community college studying nursing. About: I grew up with all types of pets, and pet sat for friends and family throughout undergrad. I've cared predominantly for dogs, ranging from a young miniture dachshund to an elderly lab mix. I am more than happy to take on new experiences and can swiftly adapt to meet your pets needs. In addition to caring for pets, I have an ever growing (and thriving) plant collection in my own home and have frequently taken on plant sitting as well. I am a full-time law student and work part-time on the weekends. During the week, my schedule is flexible, providing me time before, after, or even between classes to check in on your pets. On the weekends, I typically work in the evening but remain free all morning. I also love to get outside and go for walks as much as I can and would love to have a furry friend come along! I believe caring for a pet in their own home is the better option. I think pets tend to feel more safe and secure in a familiar environment, which can help counter having an unfamiliar person around at the start. Additionally, in their own home, pets have access to all the food, toys, and other comforts they are used to. My first priority is to make sure your pet is safe and happy. I am always more than happy to adapt to your pets specific needs.

About: I work in the medical field as a PA and also have a love for animals. I have my own dog and have grown up with dogs so I am very capable of caring for them! Caring for my own pet, Duke, and others fits wonderfully into my daily schedule. I do work during the days but often find myself coming home early. We do almost daily walks in the mornings or evenings and have lots of play time inside. Weekends are filled with outside activities such as dog parks, walks, or enjoying the day inside with friends. I live in an apartment downtown Detroit close to many dog parks as well as easy access to the riverwalk and other trails. My dog roams freely in our apartment/sleeps with us as any guest pets are welcome to do as well, unless specified otherwise by owners:)

About: No matter the age or personality of your pet, I love them all and will happily care for them as if they're my own beloved pet. I'm a new empty nester who moved to Detroit from Austin, Texas and looking for something meaningful to do while I look for full time work. I don't just do the basics and run out, I also love to spend time giving your pet attention whether it's snuggles, scratches or playing fetch.

About: I have grown up around dogs and have volunteered with the Detroit Dog Rescue, so I have had experience with a wide variety of dogs. Wherever you are with your dog (e.g. training programs) I will follow that--I do not want your dog's schedule or routine to get disrupted while you are away. I understand how to approach dogs, no matter the size. I am a Real Estate Agent, so my schedule is flexible and I can work from anywhere, so you’re dog or cat will get all the attention! I understand that pets are a part of a family and I want them to still feel that way when you are gone for the time period where I am watching them. I have administered insulin to a cat before, and other medications to dogs as well. I am a Realtor so I can work from home or leave your baby for the day while I go to the office. I do have some unplanned events for work, like showings and closings, but I will give him or her the best attention he or she needs! I will follow the rules you set for your fur baby. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had my family dog, Chutney, for over 10 years, and taking care of him is really what got me into dog sitting. I did Rover throughout college and absolutely loved it, and after taking a break during the pandemic, I’m excited to be offering my services again. Since moving to Detroit, I’ve spent the past three years dog sitting and caring for many wonderful pups. I previously worked fully remotely, and while I’m now hybrid, my schedule is still very flexible. Right now, I’m only in the office once a week for a couple of hours, and starting in July 2026 I’ll be in the office three days a week. The good news is that I get to choose my own hours, so I won’t be gone all day just a couple hours! This flexibility allows me to continue giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care throughout the day. Pet care fits pretty easily into my daily routine because I currently work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office once a week for a couple of hours. Starting in July 2026, my schedule will shift to three in-office days per week, but I’ll still only need to be there for a couple of hours each day. I also live with my partner, who is great with dogs and typically home during the day since he works evenings, so there’s usually someone around to keep your dog company and cared for while I’m briefly in the office. This gives us plenty of flexibility to follow your dog’s routine, provide lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I also make time for at least two walks a day, along with regular check-ins, feeding, and anything else your dog may need to feel happy and comfortable. I make it a priority to make sure your dog always feels safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I give plenty of extra cuddles, attention, and quality time so they feel secure and loved while you’re away. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands.
