About: About me—I absolutely love all dogs. There’s nothing like coming home to kisses and a wagging tail! I have had Dalmatians for the past 20 years. I lost my Miss Dottie about a month ago. She was 14. I’m not ready for another forever furbaby, but I miss couch cuddling and walks around the neighborhood. I promise your furbaby will be spoiled! I am looking primarily for long weekends, Friday-Monday. I can maximize time at home with this schedule. I am open to extended stays (military, longer vacations, etc). Last minute requests are ok—life happens! I am comfortable with crating during the day or leaving your furbaby open to roam the family room and kitchen. Back yard play and a walk everyday. Kisses, cuddles, and of course a treat or two. I only accept dogs in my home that have been spayed/neutered. Please contact me before booking. I would like to talk/meet before confirming. Daily rate is for a 24-hour period. Additional fee for time outside of the 24-the period. Drop-off/pick-up available with additional fee.
About: I’m an ER nurse and paramedic looking to spend time playing, walking and caring for pets. Or house sitting. I typically am free 3-4 days a week as I work 3-12 hour shifts a week at the hospital. Naturally, I’m very compassionate and care very deeply about living beings. I also have had cats and dogs of my own. I’m 58, dependable, have my own car and am active. I work 3 days a week in the ER. Which leave 4 days a week to pet sit and walk dogs! I have a Honda Fit that I am not fussy about, a dog is welcome to take a ride to Belle Isle or to the dog park! Ideally I would sit in your home, but I’m sure if your dog or cat is friendly my family would love to have them overnight!

Khelsi was very communicative with me throughout my time away and sent me lots of pictures and updates despite the fact that I was in a very different time zone and could not always respond to her right away. She also periodically cleaned up around my apartment and left a sweet gift for my cat and me when she left. About: I've had dogs & cats in my home since I can remember! Having spent my life with animals, I've had to opportunity to walk dogs of all different temperaments and sizes. I work a full time job that allows plenty of flexibility. My work day begins around 1pm- morning would be the perfect place to squeeze in a walk with your pup! Safety is my standard! Preliminary meet and greets with each animal I oversee is a nonnegotiable for me. During summer I will always have extra water on hand!

I could not have asked for a better sitter for my cats. Dan was wonderful. He had to administer meds and feed them. He provided me multiple updates daily. My house was safe. He must have created a safe space because my cats stopped hiding from him and let him pick them up. I will forever be thankful for Dan. Our dogs love Dana! We knew our dogs were in great hands while we were out. Dana was right on time and sent us updates and pictures. We were a little nervous leaving because our one pup doesn’t like thunder and storms were in the area, but Dana was great and made sure Cento wasn’t scared. 😊
