About: I adopted my first cats 6 years ago, and have never looked back! I have 3 total now. I do also have dogs, and by having both I've recognized that both really do need care that is species specific. My own cats came to me as kittens, with one that is extremely shy. With her, I really learned how special it is when you put in the time and patience and gain the trust of a perfect little creature! Most people think that cats are independent and don't need much, and that couldn't be further from the truth. They are resilient, but need just as much love and affection as dogs. I also know they can hide any issues they have very well. I am very well versed in finding shy cats hiding spots (and catching them if needed for their safety). I also always have an eye out for cat-proofing and making sure there are no potential places they can get stuck or get out.

I have a fenced yard and live walking distance to a park. I am open to board your furbabies while you are at work during the day or overnight if needed. If you prefer your babies stay at home I can offer potty breaks and walks during the day. I understand the struggle of finding good care for furbabies when you have a demanding schedule! I am open to services that work for you!
About: I've been lucky enough to wake up to a 4 legged friend by my side my entire life. I've been surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes including cats, golden retrievers, malamutes - I've found my love for them to grow increasingly with each interaction. From being a child where it was enough to simply love dogs to becoming a responsible adult recognizing the intricate needs of all, I am more than happy to provide the detailed love and care your beloved pet needs. Even my hobbies and career revolve around nurturing and caring for other beings - beyond loving on dogs, I am an avid lover of indoor plants (which means I would be happy to water yours!). With my services, you will be able to feel confident that your beloved 4 legged friends are safe and well cared for! I am currently in grad school for School Psychology and take care of my own indoor cats and cat colony everyday with food, water, litter scooping, etc. I am diligent in asking questions and file information to ensure that the visit/stay goes as smoothly as possible. I am a very organized person (former teacher) and also know how hard/stressful it can be to have someone watch your pets! I try to provide reassurance and information through the stay to ensure your comfort. Safety and animal comfort are my first priority!

About: I took care of my family’s golden retrievers during my childhood. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and watch numerous dogs, including bulldogs, pit bulls, labs, and Shih Tzus. I adopted Luna 2 years ago, and she’s the happy girl in my profile picture. I’m a medical student going on residency interviews during the fall and winter. I don’t have any classes or rotations during this time, and I need to make money. Thus, my schedule is fairly openly depending on what’s needed. I will treat your dog as if they were my own. I truly love dogs, and enjoy walking them. I will always be available to do a meet and greet as well.

Both times issues arose, one was a health issue and another where my flight was cancelled and I needed extra days of care. She cheerfully accommodated the situation and put my mind at ease during a stressful time. She takes great care of Halle, who is a rescue and can be reactive towards other dogs. I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. Now that she is used to her, I feel really comfortable leaving Halle with Jess.”

We agreed on letting Nanook stay. They were very communicative about what our dog was up to, how he was getting along with Larry and they sent photos too. After the stay we were surprised to have received a thank you note and a personalized treat in our bag. That was such a sweet touch! We would definitely book with Emily & Jason again! Nanook enjoyed his stay with them and Larry!”
