About: I have had both cats and dogs in my life since I was born! I love animals and enjoy helping others care for their pets while they’re away. I have experience with administering medication and inhaler for cats with asthma, caring for pets with health issues, and pet-sitting for all types of personalities. I currently work full time so I can provide walks or visits during the week after 5pm. I prefer to house sit over the weekend to spend the most time with your pets. However, I am flexible to your needs as they arise! I always make sure to be patient with animals when providing care. I allow them to set boundaries and I follow their lead. I will whatever I can to make your pet feel as safe as possible while you are away!

“Melanie was great. She let me know when she was stopping by, spent time with my animals and shared pictures. My cats don’t usually come right up to strangers and they clearly felt comfortable with Melanie.”

About: About me—I absolutely love all dogs. There’s nothing like coming home to kisses and a wagging tail! I have had Dalmatians for the past 20 years. I lost my Miss Dottie about a month ago. She was 14. I’m not ready for another forever furbaby, but I miss couch cuddling and walks around the neighborhood. I promise your furbaby will be spoiled! I am looking primarily for long weekends, Friday-Monday. I can maximize time at home with this schedule. I am open to extended stays (military, longer vacations, etc). Last minute requests are ok—life happens! I am comfortable with crating during the day or leaving your furbaby open to roam the family room and kitchen. Back yard play and a walk everyday. Kisses, cuddles, and of course a treat or two. I only accept dogs in my home that have been spayed/neutered. Please contact me before booking. I would like to talk/meet before confirming. Daily rate is for a 24-hour period. Additional fee for time outside of the 24-the period. Drop-off/pick-up available with additional fee.
“Great! Meghan was very attentive to the needs of our older cat. Gave her attention with petting and brushing as well as the treats! Consistently on time, communicated well, pictures, kept the litter clean, pilled the cat.... Could not ask for anything more!”

“My kitties appreciate Chetoya’s visits. They’re super shy but will come peek out and eat when they see her❤️❤️ She is responsible and always responds quickly. Thank you!”

About: I’m an ER nurse and paramedic looking to spend time playing, walking and caring for pets. Or house sitting. I typically am free 3-4 days a week as I work 3-12 hour shifts a week at the hospital. Naturally, I’m very compassionate and care very deeply about living beings. I also have had cats and dogs of my own. I’m 58, dependable, have my own car and am active. I work 3 days a week in the ER. Which leave 4 days a week to pet sit and walk dogs! I have a Honda Fit that I am not fussy about, a dog is welcome to take a ride to Belle Isle or to the dog park! Ideally I would sit in your home, but I’m sure if your dog or cat is friendly my family would love to have them overnight!
“This was my second time booking with Khelsi. She was great with my cat just like the first time and was very accommodating of my ever-changing schedule. I truly appreciate Khelsi’s flexibility despite her having a packed schedule”

“Amazing she takes excellent care of our dogs and is very flexible with my schedule as I’ll have last minute bookings and cancellations. Can’t speak highly enough about her”
“This was my first time using a pet sitter and I will definitely be calling Cheryl the next time I need someone to watch my cats. We hit it off and, maybe more importantly, one of my cats took to her right away, the other was less trusting but her behavior improved by the end of Cheryl’s visits.”

“Heather was so wonderful during our weekend away. We received daily updates and pictures/videos of our kitty. Our cat is a rescue and is usually very shy around strangers, but she felt very comfortable and social around Heather. Heather truly is a cat whisperer! I would definitely recommend her for you pet-sitting needs!”

“Danielle took excellent care of our cat while we were gone for a few days. She’s very responsive, a great communicator and detail oriented. Her report cards gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was well taken care of while we were away. Would highly recommend Danielle and hope to use her cat sitting services again!”

“Lindsay is awesome! She took great care of my cat while I was out of town for the weekend. She was very patient with my skittish kitty, flexible with my plans, and promptly communicated any concerns. Thank you!!”

Grosse Pointe Park cat parents share their Rover experiences
Have had the pleasure of Heather watching our cats for multiple trips at multiple lengths. She’s incredibly thorough and thoughtful, deeply caring of the animals wellbeing and heath and trustworthy. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you, Heather!

I could not have asked for a better sitter for my cats. Dan was wonderful. He had to administer meds and feed them. He provided me multiple updates daily. My house was safe. He must have created a safe space because my cats stopped hiding from him and let him pick them up. I will forever be thankful for Dan. I was really stressed as my one cat was ill before I left but Dan made me feel so much better about leaving. Well worth the price

It was our first time having Megan watch our cat and we were very happy with the experience! She was very personable and great to work with. Her check in reports were very detailed and left us at ease knowing our cat was in good hands while we were out of town. We would not hesitate to have Megan cat sit for us again!
