“Molly was in great hands today! It was too cold to go walk outside so Alayna played with Molly inside, gave her treats, and took the most adorable photos of Molly to let me know Molly was in good hands. She did an awesome job!!”

“Sarah responded so quickly to my request and came out to introduce herself and meet us, which gave me such comfort. She was so helpful by picking up a day of caring for my doggie on such short notice!”

About: I’ve watched my friends and families pets for since I was 15. I’ve also had animals all my life. That includes giving them baths, feeding them, walking, taking them to a dog park, anything and everything. I’m very determined to take care of such lovely animals and to keep them safe. I’m currently working part time, I’ll be going to school soon but I’m staying local so I’m still available. My schedule is pretty flexible and I’m willing to work around anything. I’ve got a fenced yard, two dogs and two cats. We keep them separated mainly for the dogs sake. They are still in training but will do nobody any harm.

“Elizabeth was great! We needed a sitter for my cat Yuki last minute and Elizabeth was able to respond to us the day before we had to leave. Ever since my cat has been on heart medication (6 months) I have been scared and reluctant to go out for long term trips. I haven't had anyone take care of Yuki with her meds asides me and my boyfriend and I'm glad I've finally reached out! Elizabeth is very knowledgeable and compassionate about what she does. She was able to care and give my cat Yuki meds fine! I definitely recommend her and we'll be reaching out to her again when we need someone to take care of Yuki!”

“Annie is the absolute best! She has been watching our cats for years now and we don’t know what we’d do without her. She takes such good care of our boys and always goes above and beyond!”

I can watch your pet over a short or long period of time, and I have experience with both small and large dogs. I will care for your pet and make sure your doggo is having a fun time and can send pictures as well! I love dogs and have had them around my whole life. I will give your pets the attention they need and ensuring they're in a safe, happy environment. I care for my pets by listening to their needs and giving them desired attention! Lastly, I've been wanting to start this up again to donate to other dogs in need, for places like Dog Aide or Bark Nation specifically. I work in Auburn Hills, and my avaliablity is mainly on weekends & holidays. If you are okay with an 8-hour workday, I'm more than willing to sit during the week! About: I am an avid dog and cat lover, as well as a dog, rat, fish and cat owner myself :) I promise I will treat your furbabies like they are my own. I have been pet sitting for a few years now and I am familiar with pet cpr and first aid. I take pride in pet sitting for others and look forward to meeting you and your furry, swimming, feathered, warm rock typed children! If you have any questions or are interested in my services, please feel free to contact me anytime. Why I love dog sitting I have been a animal lover since a very young age. When I was young, my friends and I would rescue the stray animals in the neighborhood and return them to my home. My parents would lovingly laugh and help me try to locate the owners. I have had the pleasure of owning dogs and cats my whole life. Animals are a imporant part of my culture being part Native American. The love and happiness animals bring to our lives makes the world go round :) I have worked with many rescues and rehabilitation as well as extensive knowledge on animal care from potty schedules, diets and nutrition, medication needs, etc. My experience administering medication I have had to administer medications before for prior animals I have sitted for, so any special needs is not an issue. I will make your animals feel loved and safe in my care always with daily videos and photos of the fun your pet is having. I am always will to work with families to ensure the best care possible and will follow scheduled feedings and needs for your pets. I am currently a Pre-K teacher out of Farmington Hills, so I am able to work around your needs weekly/weekends and holidays as schedule allows I ensure communication is ongoing throughout the day depending on clients needs. I stick to a schedule that designed around your needs and make sure to be always respectful and honest you and your pets needs
About: I have 20 years in pet sitting, house sitting, and plant care including the following: I am an active senior, and decided that I can combine the things I love doing, pet sitting, house sitting, and plant care! I am honest and trustworthy, and will treat your pet and your home with the utmost care as if your pet were my own. References will be provided. Dog sitting: special needs (such as collapsing trachea, seizures, antibiotics ) with walking, playtime, special diets, administering medication and monitoring pet, senior dogs needs Cat sitting: special needs, administering medication (seizures, vertigo), monitoring pet who takes medicine, special diet needs, and playtime, senior cats needs House sitting: bring in mail, set alarm (if needed), staying overnight, take out garbage, follow house rules, keep home neat and clean Plant sitting: I have years of experience with house plants: watering, feeding, trimming and pruning, diagnosing plant disease. They are a joy to take care of! I am retired, so I do have a flexible schedule for caring for both dogs and cats. I am available weekly or on weekends. At the senior complex where I live, I volunteer on Thursdays to help distribute Focus Hope food boxes, and Gleaners provides meat, fresh and canned vegetables, canned and fresh fruit, rice, spaghetti, cereal, and potatoes in a bag. It is set up like a small grocery store, so seniors can choose their own food items, and "shop with dignity." It’s only once per month. Volunteering is close to my heart. The senior apartment complex that I live in does not allow cats or dogs. I would have to watch them in their own home. I am an early riser and flexible to accommodate your schedule. I will treat your pet like my own, with kindness and respect. Whatever rules or preferences you have, I will follow them. Your home will be kept clean and safe for your pet. Pets will be given their medication, fed exactly the way it should be, walked, and played with. Pets and snuggles are the best!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Warren
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 Stars I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough !!! As the owner of a 110lb diabetic European Doberman, Roman, trusting someone else with his care; especially administering his insulin, was something I was understandably anxious about. Sarah immediately put those concerns at ease. From our very first conversation, she was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and professional. She was flexible with scheduling, confidently assured me she had experience administering insulin injections, and even offered to stop by beforehand for a meet n greet despite such the short notice. That level of dedication meant a great deal to me. During our visit, Sarah was warm, personable, and genuinely caring. She took the time to learn Roman's routine, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving him in her hands. Knowing that someone competent and compassionate would be caring for him while I was away gave me tremendous peace of mind. If you have a pet with special medical needs or simply want someone who truly treats your pet as if they were their own. Sarah is exactly the kind of sitter you're looking for. Her kindness, professionalism, communication, and willingness to go above and beyond exceeded every expectation I had. Thank you, Sarah, for taking such wonderful care of Roman. I look forward to booking with you again in the future! 🐾💛

Janvi is possibly one of the best humans I’ve ever met. She has taken such great care of my boys. After I had to put one down due to cancer and had to go out of town for work, she took extra special care of my little, on his first time being all alone for the first extended time.

Stephanie was an amazing pet sitter! This was my first time using this app and I was blown away. We travel a lot and I always had to worry about my cats and rely on family members. Stephanie took so much stress off my head as she followed all my instructions so well and cared for my cats amazingly.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
