“Keana was amazing and will definitely schedule with her again! I appreciate her being able to visit our cats last minute, send photos, provide updates and clean the litter boxes! Thanks again!!”

“Great cat sitter! She sent tons of pictures and gave thorough updates on each visit. I felt so comfortable with Mary Kay! I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter and would love to use her again!”

“Shelly was great with my 2 year old Pitbull Dalmatian mix, I highly recommend! Shelly came for a meet & greet on very short notice & impressed me immediately. She was very gentle & comforting to my timid, reactive, & nervous momma from the 1st moment they met! Shelly is punctual, trustworthy, & very good with communicating (even checked how many treats she should be giving?) to owners! I will 100% sure have Shelly sit for my baby again! Thank You Shelly!!”

About: I've been caring for animals all my life and have grown up with them always in the home. I work hard to make sure they feel welcomed and love while in my care since I know it can be hard for them being away from family. I have fostered and volunteered with rescues and local shelters for 10 years. I have also been a wildlife rehabber for 6 years and greatly enjoy helping all animals in need. I do currently have one dog that is back end paralyzed and loves everyone and everything. Im currently working part time from home so I will always be here with the furry friends I am caring for. I have a daily routine of getting up early, letting the doggy's outside, feeding them breakfast, going for walks when the weather allows, lots of toys to play with, feed them dinner and have a good time together. We also work on basic training and enjoying lots of love and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard, wonderful neighbors and a welcoming environment for even nervous dogs. I have baby gates set up as well to keep everyone safe.
“January really went above and beyond for us and our cats while we were away for the holiday. We loved seeing the pictures she sent from every drop in, and you could tell that our cats were immediately comfortable around her. We’d hire her again anytime!”
About: Most dogs aren't badly behaved. They're stressed, confused, or never taught how to communicate what they need. I spent a year training in person under Tess Erngren, founder of GoodDog Academy in Oslo and one of Scandinavia's most established voices in reward-based, fear-free dog behavior work, alongside my own husky, learning hands-on. That year, and everything my own dog has taught me since, still shapes how I work today. I have pet first aid knowledge from that training as well as general first aid experience. Eight years ago, my first husky changed how I see training completely. A puppy class on fear-free, positive reinforcement methods showed me that most of what I thought I knew about training was actually about control, not trust. Force-free doesn't mean soft. It means real structure, built through a dog's own agency instead of fear and appeasement. I don't use an aversive of any kind: no e-collars, no prong or choke collars, no corrections meant to intimidate. Letting a dog choose what to sniff, where to go, and when to disengage builds confidence, not just compliance. That philosophy is the same whether I'm walking a husky who needs to run their nose for an hour, or sitting with a bichon who just wants a calm lap and a familiar routine. A session with me might look like decompression walks, nose work, or simply unstructured time to explore, whatever that particular dog needs that day. I offer walks, in-home drop-in visits, house sitting, and 1:1 training, along with basic husbandry support like nail trims and brushing. My training sessions aren't about teaching your dog to perform on command. I teach you the tools and principles: communication, timing, and how to read what your dog is actually telling you, so you can train whatever you want, on your own terms. My schedule is fully flexible, mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends. I'm happy to work around whatever fits your dog's routine best, including last-minute requests when possible. All sessions take place at your home, so your dog stays in a familiar environment. I limit the use of crates as much as possible, dogs do best with freedom and choice, but if your dog is already crate-trained and calm in one, a short session is fine. I offer meet and greets whenever that's helpful. When meeting a new dog, I let them come to me rather than approaching directly, stay relaxed and at their level, and pay close attention to their body language so the introduction happens at their pace, not mine.

About: I’ve been providing dependable, loving pet care for 6+ years, and what sets me apart is the level of comfort, patience, and genuine attention I give every pet I watch. I focus on creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away not just “watched.” I have experience caring for pets of all personalities and energy levels, including playful puppies, anxious pets, and senior dogs who need a gentler pace and extra patience. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and making sure every pet receives plenty of affection and companionship. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos to help owners feel reassured while they’re away. My goal is always to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. 🐾 I do work a full-time 9–5 job during the week, but pet care still fits very naturally into my routine and schedule. I make it a priority to return home directly after work to spend time with the pets in my care, and I typically only leave for necessities like work or grabbing food. I’m very routine oriented and make sure pets receive consistent attention, potty breaks, feeding, exercise, affection, and companionship throughout the day and evening. On weekends and outside of work hours, I’m home much more often and able to dedicate even more time to them. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed while their owners are away. 🐾 I provide care exclusively in my client’s home because I believe pets are often the most comfortable in a familiar environment with their normal routine. Keeping pets in their own space helps reduce stress and allows them to feel safe, relaxed, and secure while their owners are away. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions to ensure they receive the best care possible. Safety and trust are extremely important to me, so I treat every client’s home with respect and care while also making sure their pets receive plenty of attention, affection, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout my stay. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. 🐾
“Ivy has been absolutely amazing over the past month. She was able to hop right in two days after our little pup came home, and has been a godsend on my in-office days. Gilly loves her and enjoys playing and snuggles. I would definitely recommend her for her excellent communication, demeanor, and professionalism, and even as our pup moves to Puppy Preschool, we will still be working with Ivy whenever we need a sitter or a drop-in.”

“Victoria was a great cat sitter! My cats really enjoyed her company and you could tell they were very happy. It was great knowing my cats were in good hands while I was away. She even took my trash cans out just in time for trash day!! I will definitely be rebooking in the future! :)”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I’m a proud cat mom to three rescued cats and grew up surrounded by dogs. I also cared for my diabetic dog and became comfortable with administering medications and providing extra medical attention. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have taken veterinary technician classes because my dream is to build a career in veterinary medicine. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to provide safe, loving, and attentive care. 🐾 I recently moved to Michigan, so Rover is currently my full-time focus, which means I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. My typical availability is Monday through Friday, but I understand that pet care needs don’t always fit a set schedule. If you need care outside of those days, please reach out, I’m happy to do my best to make arrangements! 🐾 I currently have three cats of my own, so I prefer to provide care in my clients’ homes where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routines. However, if needed, I do have a fully fenced backyard and can discuss boarding on a case-by-case basis. I always prioritize safety by keeping dogs leashed during walks, carrying treats for positive reinforcement, and paying close attention to each pet’s behavior and body language. I know how important it is to stay connected while you’re away, so I’ll send plenty of photo and video updates to give you peace of mind and let you see all the fun your pet is having. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while treating them like one of my own.
“Heather has been wonderful to work with. She’s been prompt, careful and communicative with her visits with my pet. She’s been able to have a warm relationship with my pet despite my cat’s shyness. I absolutely plan on rebooking visits with Heather in the future.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for 15+ years, and currently live with 4 fur babies! I have experience with pet-sitting (short and long term), walking dogs, changing doggy diapers, and managing the BIG personalities of small friends together. Friends and family have continuously trusted me to treat their pets as my own while they're away. I'd love the opportunity to meet yours! I have a bit of an irregular schedule for another job, but I will never agree to a time that I cannot commit to. Most of my days are open, however, so I have plenty of time and energy to pour into the pets! I will provide exceptional care to your pet and your home! I am detail-oriented and can take on any care plan with ease. I also value respecting not just the animal(s), but the home and environment that they live in. Trust all around is my top priority!

“Caitie was excellent. She provided me with excellent updates with a photo on how my little poodle was doing as she completed her visits. She was very thoughtful with getting to know my little dog, who is cautious around new people. I will be having Caitie back next month!”

“This was our first time using Rover and needing help outside of family/friends while away from home, so it goes without question that we were anxious to leave our babies. Upon meeting Chelsea, we knew she was a perfect match for our cats! While we were gone she took great care of our kitties and left us detailed notes and pictures. We hope that our cats can continue to develop their relationship with Chelsea to help put them (and their parents!) at ease while away. 10/10 would highly recommend!”

“Madison was able to take care of my cats last minute - she was a huge help! She eased my mind while I was out of town with all the pictures and detailed updates every morning. She was very responsive as well! I came home to filled food and water bowls and a clean cat area AND happy cats!”

“Stacy was great with our animals and coming and checking on them often! Even when it was very late. I would recommend Stacy highly to anyone who needs a dog sitter or cat sitter for that matter! You will never be disappointed with Stacy. And I want to say personally thank you Stacey for being the one to watch our animals :-) you are very professional and take your job seriously, again I'm glad I found you!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
