10. Francesca S.
About: I have been volunteering at the Humane Society for the past six months, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and I had the privilege of witnessing and supporting them through every stage of life. Three years ago, I rescued my own Labrador, Mousse. I worked closely with her through bird dog training and take her on long daily walks. My family and I have also fostered several rescue dogs, including seniors who required extra care and attention. With dogs of all sizes in my family — from mini Dachshunds to Cane Corsos — I am well-versed in catering to a wide range of breeds and their unique needs. Currently, there are two dogs in my home and I don’t like to stress them out with other dogs coming in so I do not offer boarding in my house. I am also a college student working part time, so during the week my schedule is tight. However, Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays I am available as well as early mornings before 8 during the week. I am very active and love to go on walks! I love caring for dogs and can dedicate genuine time to watch and care for yours. I completely understand how nerve wracking it feels to leave your pup at home all day! I would be more than happy to send pictures and videos during our walks and playtime to make the process easier. I’m an avid walker/runner, so expect a tired and fulfilled dog when you get home! Since I also love baking and cooking, spoiling dogs with some homemade, organic dog treats is a plus that I offer! I’m currently a college student and I also work part time, so my schedule during the week varies. However, I am always available on Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays. I prioritize safety, clear communication, and following all care instructions closely. Pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment, and I ensure they are secure and well-cared for during every visit and walk.

11. Dana G.

“Dana is the ultimate pet person - she cares for animals will all her heart. Dana has stayed over night with my two dogs on numerous occasions and provided them with loving care. When she enters my home both of my pups are over the moon excited to see her! She follows feeding instructions, sees that they get their medication if needed, and keeps them active and safe.”

12. Christina V.
About: I’ve always had pets growing up. I know it sounds cliche, however, my friends call me the dog whisperer because I immediately connect with them and I’m able to train the most difficult of dogs. I lost my furry best friend not too long ago, we had 15 awesome years together. She traveled with me everywhere. I’m not at a place where I’m ready to own a dog again but I miss the walks, companionship, and all the fun I had with her and feel that being able to watch others furry babies would help in the void I feel in missing her so much. I would definitely treat your pet as if they were my own. I will always make their safety and comfortability top priorities. I am a supervisor in my current role and our shifts swiches every 3 months..I am currently on days, , in 3 months I will be on afternoons and 3 months later midnights. Hours are a max of 8 hours..but I’m able and willing to board your pet. I do not have a fenced yard, however, I do have a dog park at the end of my street..it’s fenced in and so big..it’s actually an old school and has an open field for your dog to run their zoomies and laps!

13. Michael K.
“Michael watched my pet for over 10 years. He always went above and beyond! Our dog LOVED, Michael (more than us;). He would take her on walks, swimming and hikes. He is dependable and always flexible, when needed. Any pet and/ or pet owner would be lucky to have Michael spend time with them!”

14. Paulina S.
“Paulina is truly “the wizard of paws”. Pets of all shapes and sizes flock to her. She’s remarkably intuitive and incredibly loving. My dog, Mister, loves visiting Paulina when she boards him and I honestly wouldn’t entrust his care to anyone else in this world BUT her. Needless to say, Paulina has my highest recommendation.”

15. Corinna S.
“Corinna is the most wonderful pet caregiver! I am often traveling and when I am I can always count on Corinna to treat my dogos as if they were her own. She often goes the extra mile! Hire her and never worry about your furry family!”

16. Jordan K.
“Jordan was amazing with my dog! He took care of Sloan (my dog) as if he was his own. This is something I look for as Sloan is the most important thing to me. Jordan is gentle, reliable and efficient. It's very obvious he's a big animal lover. Highly recommend!”

17. Mary Grace S.

“Mary Grace was great with my dog during the overnight stay. I came home to a happy dog and the house was nice and tidy too, which was a bonus. I definitely recommend her.”

18. Casie L.

“Casie was a wonderful dog sitter for the weekend I traveled to Chicago! I was very nervous to leave my puppy alone for the first time; especially after his surgery. However, Casie did a wonderful job taking care of both my dog’s health and ease my mind by sending lots of updates. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

19. Randi K.

“Randi stayed at our house and watched our two dogs, cat and lizard for one week and she was excellent. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures. Some of our pets have some special needs. She took care of everyone really well. She left the house looking exactly as it did when we left. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our house and pets.”

20. Emily R.
“When you hear the words, dog lover, I think of Emily. She has a strong compassionate heart for all species, especially dogs. She cares for our 15 year old and 5 year old Aussies like they are her own. She gives our 15 year old all of the snuggles and support in her golden years while at the same time, having the energy to keep up with our 5 year olds shenanigans. Highly recommend. Our dogs give her two paws up🐾”
