I used to pet sit for my neighbors as well, including one neighbor who had two mastiffs and a dalmatian, and another neighbor with a chronically ill dog prone to accidents. I loved them all! I love to go on walks during my free time, so I’d love to walk to visit your pet, or take them along with me. I work part time on a flexible schedule and can easily fit most visit schedules into my day. I take the time to earn an animal’s trust, and go at a speed they’re comfortable with. If your animal wants me to pet and lay with them and brush them and play with them or anything else, I’m there! If your pet is more lowkey or independent, I check in on them and make sure they have everything they need. I look to care for your specific pet, not just check in and call it a day.

Kate was THE BEST as a housesitter/animal caregiver. My job was complex: I have multiple inside cats and regularly feed feral cats on my front porch. In addition, I have a rescue dog who can have emotional issues as well as recovering from a recent injury. Kate handled everything as I would have. Her frequent updates and photos showed me my babies-relaxed, obviously content/loved. I came home to a spotless house and my animals happy to see me, but not frantic for attention. Eric took excellent care of Koda while we were away on vacation for seven days. He was very communicative, respectful and followed Koda’s care instructions very carefully.
