My name is Kate. I am a UM graduate student living in Detroit. Before grad school I worked at a non profit in NYC for 5 years and would frequently house and pet sit for my colleagues in Brooklyn and Ann Arbor. I am joining Rover so that I can do more of it! I love cats and dogs and will take good care of your dear ones. I have experience taking care of an aging and sick cat as well as a dog with anxiety (and administering their daily medications). I am responsible, clean, and will take great care of your pets! Happy to provide more information.

Kate was THE BEST as a housesitter/animal caregiver. My job was complex: I have multiple inside cats and regularly feed feral cats on my front porch. In addition, I have a rescue dog who can have emotional issues as well as recovering from a recent injury. Kate handled everything as I would have. Her frequent updates and photos showed me my babies-relaxed, obviously content/loved. I came home to a spotless house and my animals happy to see me, but not frantic for attention. I’m so grateful to have found Kate & will use her services whenever I travel again.

Kate was great! Our two pups loved her! She soft in our home for two nights and was wonderful making sure they each got the right amount of cuddles and play. She was super communicative and reliable. Would highly recommend.
We were in a pinch for the holidays, and Kate really came through for us. Great communication, professional and understanding of our needs. Consistent, solid updates with our dog looking very happy. Our dog usually has to recover from stress of separation the day after returning, but he was his full self! Highly recommend Kate!

My schedule is flexible — I work from home, so I am available for pet care, walking, and house sitting most weekdays and on weekends
