About: I got my first pets at 21, two mice named Luna and Lena. Since then I've had many more pets including more mice, rats, dogs, and a cat. I have had my dogs for about 7 years. My baby girl Remy, is a wild ball of energy, even at 9. My darling boy Leonard, is a very slow gentle giant who moves like a sloth, so I have experience with dogs across the energy spectrum! My fluffy baby Bean is my first cat. I have learned a lot from him over the last 4 years that Ive had him. He is a cuddly kitty who shows love through playful violence. I say this to explain that I am so used to being torn up a bit by my pets. I understand that pets do not know their strength or sharpness and I will give them the grace needed! My pets are the center of my life. I wake up and immediately refill food and waters and let my dogs outside. While they do their business, I cuddle Bean, my cat. Sadly, after I let my dogs in I have to head out to work. When I get home from work, I always run to get kisses from my dogs. Then I do the same as the morning, check food and water and let them outside. Because my cat and one of my dogs dont get along, I often have to split my time between them but I make sure everyone gets all their cuddles and love. I also dedicate at least 10 minutes twice a day, playing with each of them. I am unable to host others pets at my house as we are full up, but I always treat others homes and pets with the utmost respect. I try my best not to touch anthing that isn't needed and leave the home looking the same or better than when I got there.
“Jillian was a lifesaver! I knew immediately when Zoey met her, we would vibe. I am far away on vacation and she's been a huge help for my family. Being that my dog is a senior, the excellent communication and photos I received has eased my mind. Thank you so much, Jillian!”

“Jessica is very patient with both dogs. We have dog with special needs and is a senior and she is very patient and is working with us to make sure his exercise needs are met. I highly recommend Jessica!”
About: Hello! My name is Lucie and I absolutely love pups of all shapes and sizes. From a child, I’ve always had a dog that I’ve cared for of different breeds from Beagle to Elkhound and now a Shepherd/Golden mix. I frequently dog sit for my brother who has an Aussie/Bernie mix. My dog recently suffered a TPLO tear and we’ve had to make significant adjustments due to complications that happened. I learned to help support his 115 pound frame for potty breaks, give shots, and give medications. His surgical team has even joked that I could get a job there once he’s healed up from all that I’ve learned. I work fully remote unless traveling (for which my schedule is blocked). My days are somewhat flexible to meet your families needs. Weekends are also very flexible. If you book with me, I will communicate what times I’m available and can send you photos of your babies. I will take care of your 4 legged friend just like they are my own. Having a very smart and large shepherd myself I’m always on the lookout for things he can get into and make sure everything is picked up so he can’t get hurt or in trouble. Our vet office has consistently told me that I’m one of their most diligent pet parents. Your pets safety and your privacy is always my goal.

About: I am a dog lover who currently owns 3 dogs, a terrier mix, a standard poodle, and a Doberman. My husband and I love animals and have grown up around different types of pets, which is why dog sitting is a perfect fit for me. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my entire life. I acquired my love for animals from my father. Since before I was born, he has always owned a dog. The first dog I remember having was a Husky named Brandon. We named him Brandon because of the dog on "Punky Brewster" and I must have been only around 4 years old! My experience administering medication I have experience administering medication to my own pets and others pets as well. I’m a stay at home mom, which means I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pup(s). We love playing outdoors and our dogs are like family to us! I have a dog run (working on fencing our large yard) and three dogs of my own. We have room to crate train if needed, and keep kids and dogs separate should your pup not be kid friendly.
About: Hi, I’m Giulia. I work from home full-time, meaning your dog will practically never be left alone. Whether your pup loves a mid-day couch snuggle or pacing next to my desk for belly rubs, I am here to match their routine. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have experience from pups to seniors. I have two dogs of my own. I live in a house, with a fence-in yard. We will have outdoor time and play time! I send photo updates so you never have to wonder how your furry family member is doing. Message me to set up a meet and greet! I work full-time from home. I have plenty of time to spend with your pups! We will be going outside for potty and play time. They are watched constantly. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to easily keep your pup company. I can also crate your dog upon request. If you have any other specific requests such as medication management, specific treats, food, toys etc that is not an issue. Just let me know.
About: I’ve had fur babies all my life, my parents gave me my very own to take care of at the age of 16 and I’ve been a Dog Mama ever since! I’m currently an active Foster Mom for the Michigan Humane Society and have been since 2021. I exude love, compassion, and kindness to all fur babies and give them all the snuggles, kisses and hug they need!! I also understand their body language, triggers and feelings on a level that helps me keep them comfortable, content and feeling safe! I work mornings 7am-3:30pm but sometimes I work afternoon shifts, I will be sure to let you know what I am working so you can know the hours I’ll be away at work from your fur baby. After work I usually spend the day at home. I have a fenced in backyard, plenty of room for your pet to run around and enjoy themselves, my house is comfortable and nothing around would cause any harm to your pet. I have a bedroom dedicated to puppy playtime which is also where they sleep if not upstairs in the room with me.
About: I have fenced in backyard with room to run around. I'm a very loving person towards animals, they have a certain way of always making you feel special. I grew up with a golden retriever and she was the sweetest. I've had fish as well and care about them like I would a dog or cat. I now have my own puppers. She is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who loves meeting new dogs! I have been dog sitting for many years for family and friends. I used to stay at the owner's houses but now since I have my own dog I ask that the dogs come to my house. I am home most of the day. I love playing outside, going for walks and cuddling up with the pups. I love to meet new dogs and love learning about their breed and their personalities, they're all so different! Leaving your pets with me will guarantee them a fun safe time! I currently work full-time at home so I'm able to be with the dogs if they come to my home. If dog walking is what you need, I have an hour long lunch each day and can come after 4pm as well. I have a large fenced-in yard and a young dog to keep your pup occupied. I have extra kennels at my house if needed, as well as a gate in my hallway if for any reason I would need it. I have many dog toys and treats to keep your dog happy as well. Daily walks are a must, weather permitted.
“Nia was wonderful! She took care of my Zayle on short notice. Zayle still acts like a puppy and Nia was capable and comfortable with that type of energy and behavior. Nia was nice, professional and right on time. 10/10 the best the app has to offer! I’ll be booking with Nia again soon :)”

“Sam took our dog, Jax, out for walks while we were out of town for a week. She is attentive and obviously an animal-lover. We got pictures and videos everyday while we were gone which is really nice when you're missing your pets. Personally, Sam is friendly and quick to respond if you have any questions. We will definitely be using her again.”

“She has been so great with my dog that she gets excited when Danielle walks in the house. I was nervous about handing my dog over to a stranger while I'm unable to walk but Danielle is reliable and trustworthy.”

Joseph is wonderful with my dog who is normally scared of new people until he’s known them for months. I’ve never seen him be comfortable with someone new immediately before! I have a lot of health issues so having someone I can trust to get my dog some exercise is a huge help..

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
