This was the 1st time my 17 y.o. cat was left at home alone (without his brother) while I was away on vacation (this time for 10 days on an Alaskan cruise, so very far from home). About: I have cared for senior dogs and a potty training puppy. I have walked and cared for dogs varying in sizes from a great dane to a miniature wiener dog. Additionally, I am experienced with high energy and low energy dogs and can adapt to their needs. I am currently working full-time with one day in-person a week. Therefore, would be able to spend ample time with pets and access to a fenced yard. Pets are family and I intend to care for your pet as good as I would take care of a child! About: With a background in Crisis Intervention and a degree in Psychology, I’m looking to take a break from helping humans and to focus on caring for furry creatures. I recently moved to Michigan from Pennsylvania, and would love to care for your cat or dog. I personally own a 7-year-old Boston Terrier named Wren, and live with my boyfriend who is a veterinarian in the area (we have a combined four cats, two dogs, a snake, and a tarantula in our home). As I'm currently taking a break from my career in psychology/social work, my schedule is open and I'm available any time/date to care for your pet around your schedule. I have experience in crating, as my pup is crate trained due to her pretty severe anxiety. I completely understand how important pets are, and how critical it is to take steps to ensure your animals' safety.

About: I think that animals have personalities, feelings, and emotions just like humans do. So when I take care of a furry friend, it's like I'm taking care of a baby. They need a lot of attention and require a lot of care. I like to get to know your fur baby and build a bond with them. I know that leaving your pet with a stranger can be nerve-racking but I want you to know that when you leave your dog in my care, that they will be treated with respect and given the best care that I can provide. I am always available and willing to put in the effort it takes. This would help supplement my income and give me the opportunity to spend more time with fur babies of all kinds! I enjoy the company of fur babies, it is very therapeutic. I have plenty of space for fur babies to be comfortable. I love to take my baby on walks and have plenty of play time as well.

About: I absolutely love animals, and have been around them for my entire life. From helping with the farm animals at my aunt and uncles to visiting my great aunt with her four golden retrievers. I also have a cat, though we anticipate adding additional furry family members in the future. I care deeply about every animal, and will treat them as my own. I am an animal rights advocate and I will always view animals the same as any member of a family. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets. We have one very friendly cat at home, a fenced yard with lots of room to run, and an overall pet friendly environment. I have experience administering oral medication, and am more than happy to help with that as needed. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with lots of availability on those days to care for pets. I care for all pets as though they are my own family member. I treat them with love and respect, and understand that all pets are different and require different levels of attention. About: I’m a huge animal lover and I would love the chance to get to know and care for your pets. I am a very flexible and laid-back person so what ever you want me to do for your pets, I will try my best to do. I have played a big part in taking care of my family's pets ever since I was little. I have a lot of experience with big dogs as we used to have Great Danes and then Pitbull/ Mastiff mix and a Lab/ Retriever mix. I currently have four cats with my fiancé as well. I have experience giving medicine, training, caring for elderly pets and much more. I also have the same experience with cats, if that is what you need help with too. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies. I am currently working as a full time mental health therapist. My schedule is very flexible; currently I work from home Mondays and Fridays, and go into the office Tuesday through Thursday. Tuesdays are my only full in-office day and Wednesdays and Thursdays, I don’t go in until the afternoon. This schedule leaves plenty of time for me to spend with your animals. I am available to stay the night throughout the week as long as the pets are okay with being alone for the hours I am in the office. Weekends I have full availability. When going into your home to feed your pets, take them for walks or even staying with them overnight, I will be very respectful of your home and the house rules. I am entering your space to take care of your pets and make sure you have nothing to worry about while you are gone.
