“Kayla was great with Biscuit!! She provided plenty of pictures and updates. Biscuit is a kitten so he requires playtime and Kayla went the extra mile playing with him. You could tell she just loves cats”

“Michelle was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly reliable and on time every single day. We looked forward to her Rover reports and the pictures she sent, which gave us total peace of mind. Her communication was top-notch throughout the entire time. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter and highly recommend her!”

“Samantha was great! I have 2 cats and neither are a huge fan of strangers. One needs meds twice a day and the other we recently adopted likes to hide. Samantha was able to make sure my cat who needs meds got her meds and she even was able to pet her and give her some attention, which is very hard to do! My other cat hid the entire time (to be expected) but Samantha kept me updated and made sure he was still eating and using the litter box. Overall a great experience and I would book again!”

“This was my first experience using rover and we couldn’t be happier with how great it went! We got photos and updates and Danielle was incredibly reliable and kind. Will definitely be using her again!”

“This was our first time leaving our kitty away with someone from rover and Christina was the best! Got lots of pics of him and knew he was being well taken care of and loved on”

About: I’ve loved and raised dogs and cats my entire life, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding animal behavior, energy levels, and unique routines. Today, I care for regular repeat clients who trust me with their pets’ everyday needs from high energy neighborhood walks and feeding schedules to mid day drop ins and occasional in home care. I treat every single pet with the exact same care, safety, and respect as my own. I also am experienced In a variety of animal medicine due to caring for family pets that got sick. Ranging from diabetic cat shots to daily medication and massages for senior dogs with hip and muscle problems. While currently working flexible service industry shifts, my primary goal and passion is growing my dog care business full-time. My schedule offers great flexibility throughout the day—especially mornings and middays for walking, feeding, and sitting. With the intent to be available full time for my clients. I treat every dog's routine with total dedication, consistency, and care. I’ve loved and lived with dogs my whole life, so making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for comes naturally to me. I bring that same devotion to my clients and their pups every single day. From energetic walks and quick drop in visits to dog park trips and the occasional overnight stay, I always aim to exceed expectations so you have complete peace of mind whenever your pet is with me.
“Britnie and Steve took excellent care of my kitty while I was away. They were thorough and communicative throughout. I would not hesitate to book with them again in the future!”

About: I’ve owned and loved dogs my entire life. I’ve also been dog sitting for multiple different kinds of dogs for the last 10 years. I am experienced with puppies as well as caring for senior dogs with special needs. I currently work full time but I have plenty of time after work (5:30-9pm) and on weekends to stop by to see your pet or walk your dog. I make sure all doors/gates are closed so no one can decide to make a run for it. I also make sure dogs are crated when I leave if that is something they need.
“We have used Tami a couple of times now and love her! She is fantastic and loves on our Ellie as if she was her own. She keeps us posted on how things are going and is good about letting us know if there are any concerns. She is loving and kind to both our dog and family! We will continue to trust Tami with our sweet pup and highly recommend you do as well!”

“Amanda provides great care, she is conscientious and concerned with knowing details about pets and care. She is great with communicating and follow up, very reliable. Fortunate to have her support us with care of our fur family!”

“This was our first time using rover.com and couldn't be happier with Christina's stay with Bailey. The pictures that we received each drop-in visit really made us feel at ease that he was taken care of and was in really good hands. We used to drop him off at PetSmart while on vacation but he seems 100 times happier after this vacation than before. We'll definitely work with her again!”
About: I think that animals have personalities, feelings, and emotions just like humans do. So when I take care of a furry friend, it's like I'm taking care of a baby. They need a lot of attention and require a lot of care. I like to get to know your fur baby and build a bond with them. I know that leaving your pet with a stranger can be nerve-racking but I want you to know that when you leave your dog in my care, that they will be treated with respect and given the best care that I can provide. I am always available and willing to put in the effort it takes. This would help supplement my income and give me the opportunity to spend more time with fur babies of all kinds! I enjoy the company of fur babies, it is very therapeutic. I have plenty of space for fur babies to be comfortable. I love to take my baby on walks and have plenty of play time as well.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
